he has very squishable cheeks despite his concerning diet mainly revolving around tea, biscuits, and whatnot (tarts).

you suppose the chubbiness in it comes from the mounts of sweets he can't exactly resist. of which trey is probably to blame.

riddle grew up with his very picky mother with her particular food choice for him so when he arrived in NRC without her eyes he gained a lot of freedom.

so if you hold his face in your hands the fat from his cheeks pokes out of the hole between your thumb, and pointer fingers. it's so cute 😭 so you can't resist the urge to sneak a squeeze.

it makes it all the more comical becomes he looks so confused, furrowing his brows at you like he can't believe whatever the hell you're doing right now.

There are many great attributes about Quill, and sometimes there are too many to list. But one thing in particular, is his style. Despite his knack for good music and food, there's just something about his clothes that often made you gawk. 

Over the years, Peter has acquired quite the collection of fun and funky t-shirts, most of them bought on various planets as souvenirs after a mission or even as little gifts from you. 

Quill has so many tops that he couldn't possibly have use for every single one, so more often than not, you'd find yourself riffling through his drawers to steal one or five of his t-shirts. His clothes always smell so comforting and homely that you couldn't stop yourself from stealing, even if you wanted to. Your favourite shirts of his are from his slightly chubbier days. They'd feel so soft and comfortable against your skin that you'd often wear them day and night. The bigger the top, the more loved it felt. But you weren't being picky because you loved literally anything he wore. He could wear a trash bag, and as long as it smelt like him, you'd wear that trash bag too.

So today, like any other day, instead of picking your clothes from your side of the closet, you scrounge over to his side, flicking through the hangers to see what you want to wear. 'Happening' upon his grey, long sleeve with white writing, you quickly remove his other t-shirt you were wearing, flinging it across the room into the dirty pile before dressing yourself. Slipping on a pair of joggers, you make your way to the living room, plopping yourself down on the sofa, and wrapping a fluffy blanket over you.

A few short minutes later, Peter is standing in the doorway with a towel draped over his lower half, tiny beads of water covering his chest. "Ahem," he says quietly, a sly smirk on his lips. "Uh- why can't I find any of my clothes?" he asks, sounding like he already knew the answer.

"Maybe they're in the dirty pile," you playfully lie with a deadpan expression, avoiding his gaze. "We haven't done any laundry in a little while. I'm sure there's stuff in there,"

"Hm, okay, right. But the thing is, I was sorta planning on wearing this one top today," sheepishly smiling, ruffling through his wet curls. "Don't suppose you've seen a grey long-sleeve?"

"Nope, haven't seen it," you coyly grin, bringing the blanket to your neck, covering the evidence.

"Yeah?" he hums, making his way over to you. "You sure you haven't seen it?" 

"Nope," you repeat, shaking your head. 

"So if I just..." he says slowly, reaching for the blanket.

You copy him, reaching for his towel, playful eyes as you threaten to tug the fabric down. He looks down at you and shrugs. Grinning. "Do it. I don't care," 

"Okay, alright, fine. I'm wearing it," you cave, ripping away the blanket. "I couldn't help it," you bribe, sweet eyes dancing up at him. 

"How long you been stealing my clothes?" he asks, his tone full of warmth, chuckling.

"Not long," you lie. "But I really can't help it, okay, Pete? It's a problem. I can't stop myself," you say playfully, brushing over your arms as if to show your comfort. "See?"

He stares down at you, his eyes full of admiration. "Yeah? That why I have no clothes left?"

"You have tonnes of clothes. You have so many you didn't even realise they were missing," you say impishly, eyebrows quirking. "They just smell like you," you shrug, a sweet smile on your lips. "You're not mad?"

Shaking his head. "Nah, they look better on you anyway," he grins. "But, have you seen that dark blue one? The one with uh-- the um, light blue circle smile face thing?"

"Maybe... sorry. I wore that the other week," you playfully frown. "But it's clean," you bribe. "I washed it right after. It should be in that pile over there," Pointing.

"Mhmm," he says with squinted eyes and a grin.

He returns half-dressed with the t-shirt in hand, swinging it as he makes his way back to you. "I wanna wear that one," pointing to you. "I wanna smell you," he says quietly, practically inaudible.

"What?" you grin, only hearing fragments. 

"I wanna smell you, now give it," he repeats loud enough for you to hear, his fingers grabbing towards you. "I’m getting cold— look my nipples could cut glass, hurry,"

"But it smells like you," 

He boyishly grins as if he's thought of an idea. He puts on the blue top, rubbing over the fabric as if to transfer his scent before removing it and handing it to you. "Better?"

Sitting up with a smile, you undress from the top, putting on the new one as Peter did the same. He plops down beside you, draping his arm over your shoulder. "You do look cute in my clothes," he grins, kissing your temple.

"Come on honey! It's the first time in a long time that you've been out with friends, or talked to someone, or seemed to have friends, or-

"Mom, you don't need to degrade me anymore, I know I don't have friends."

"But not anymore! That's why you have to go out with them, you can't spend your life locked in your room."

"What are we betting? If it's the family heritage then…" a bump grew on your head from the blow your mother gave you "Okay, okay, I guess I can try to get out of the house."

"That's it! Get out there and shine love, you deserve everything good in the world."

"Even the family herit-?"

You didn't even finish when you already had another bump on top of the previous one, deciding to leave the subject you said goodbye to your mother, well, she had to go with a friend, meanwhile you finished doing some pending things that you had to finish by tomorrow. When you finished, you threw yourself on your bed, flipping through the social networks a bit, doubting whether to contact the boys, after all, you only met them once in person, the rest was all conversations in the group that Izana put you in, although you had a lot of fun with them there, it's not the same to talk on a screen than face to face.

After several minutes you decided to take a brave step, seeing that some of them were even talking on the group chat.

You didn't pay attention to the other messages, the truth is that Izana and Kakucho were enough for you, you weren't going to belittle Hanma either, he was trying anyway. You just texted a couple more to meet up at a certain place, quickly got ready in the most comfortable clothes you could find, plugged your headphones into your phone to have a walk to the location.

Normally you were like a damn rock when it came to expressing your feelings or opening up to people, you didn't like to socialize much but it wasn't a pain either (depending on the person), the fact that you didn't like to talk or express yourself a lot didn't mean you were one of those people who get nervous when they have to order pizza by phone, call a waiter or order a drink at any bar. But today you had that little nervous feeling, as if these guys were going to judge you and decide if you were worthy or not, even though it was clear that they already liked you a little for the simple fact of adding you to their group chat.

You were pessimistic so you kept those feelings throughout the journey, however, swallow them because as soon as you saw the boys just forgot them, there were three people you didn't know, the rest were Izana, Kakucho, Hanma and the Haitani brothers. You assumed that neither Koko, nor Shion, nor Mochi were there because they had to do something important or simply didn't want to see you.

"Hey honey, here!"

Hanma waved his hand as his eyes met yours, drawing your attention to come closer once and for all, you murmured a greeting to everyone, looking at the three new faces.

"So you don't intend to introduce me to your friends? Oh wait, I want to guess, can I?"

"Go ahead, please give us one of your amazing comparisons."

Rindou said, completely amused, even though you also messed with him, your comparison ability can always make fun of others, it's not like you make distinctions, no one was going to escape your critical eye.

"Mmmh… I don't know why I have the feeling that the one who seems bacterophobic is Sanzu" you pointed to the long-haired boy who had a mask covering half of his face "he seems to have pretty features, and Sanzu is in that side without hesitation."

"Madarame must be tossing and turning in his bed when he heard you, you've got it right."

Sanzu offered you his hand in greeting, noticing how his eyes narrowed a little, he had a cheeky smile that no one could see. The next one you looked at was Mucho, he seemed almost as stoic as you, another rock on the team huh? You also guessed that it was him, then you exchanged glances with the boy with glasses who seemed to be here by force, there was no one else left so he could only be…

"Are you Kisaki? Man, aren't you cute? Are you the baby of the group or something?"

Everyone tried to hold back their laughter when you approached him to ruffle his hair in an affectionate way, more like to annoy him a bit, poor boy, you were taller than him so your action and comment only irritated him more than he already was, he moved away your hands from his head, clicking his tongue.

"Maybe you're taller, but I'm sure I surpass you in age and intelligence."

The others looked at the interaction, you had that dark look that managed to scare away so many fucking thugs, it looked like you wanted to hit him right there, but they didn't expect you to laugh like Izana the time he met you.

"Oh please, don't be silly, I'm older than you, in fact, I think I'm older than all of you."

"You're kidding, aren't you? Most of us here are of legal age and you are still studying."

Izana questioned looking at you, you scratched the back of your neck sighing, you weren't very proud to admit it, but it's not like it was a big deal either.

"Well, I'm nineteen, I repeated a couple of courses…"

"You what!?"

The Haitani brothers were the ones who were most shocked by the new information about you, you just downplayed it, the last thing you wanted right now is to be treated differently because of your age, even if it's only a year older than some, these guys can be very offended at not being the oldest.

Kakucho finished off the general daze, talking about doing something and not just standing there like idiots, so you guys moved around just taking a walk while talking about random nonsense, it went pretty well, at least the guys appreciated some 'healthy' time, since usually their free time was also related to causing chaos in other gangs.

The truth is that it was not as bad as you thought, they all seemed quite funny, Izana and Kakucho managed to drag you into every interesting thing they saw, more like the leader of Tenjiku, Kaku thanked you because he could see his friend behaving like if he were a kid again (although he did threaten the others if they made fun of Iza for being a bit softer).

Hanma and the Haitani brothers tried to irritate or flirt you, you just looked at them with a blank face, completely ignoring them when they brought up the whole 'love' and 'relationships' thing, when they weren't bothering you they were quite nice, but that meant that now you were messing with them, that was your mechanics.

Surprisingly, after a while you and Kisaki 'clicked' simply because Hanma was bothering you both, you looked at each other silently as if you could communicate with your eyes, ignoring the poor boy as you started small talk out of the first thing that came to your mind, of course that didn't stop your little comments about him being smaller than you either.

Sanzu and Mucho stayed more on the sidelines, you didn't complain, they seemed more reserved than the others, or at least less expressive, you understood them perfectly because you were like that most of the time, it's just that these guys ─Izana more than anything─ made you take out to bring out your more sociable side a little more, it was different and nice.

But you knew well that hanging out with a gang would bring trouble, some punks recognized most of the group you were with, how could they not anyway? You were unintentionally involved in a small fight, but you weren't scared either when the fistfights between the teenagers started flying back and forth, you knew it was going to happen at some point so you just watched on the sidelines disinterestedly.

Ironically, Kisaki stayed by your side ─this guy doesn't know how to fight─ because the guys felt threatened by your dark gaze, honestly you were a little scared now, but only when one of the thugs came up to pick a fight with you, you saw yourself in the obligation to use your second wild card.

´"If you get one step closer, I promise that death will be the most beautiful thing you want to wish for, how do you want your body to be found? Ah, better if they don't find it, right?"

They immediately backed away, you're lucky most people find it hard to read your true expression because if they were like Kakucho the first time you met him they would have already beaten you up. But it didn't end there, there was another brave man who came up thinking that despite your threats you would be an easy target, which, well, you were.

Everyone seemed to see just as you were hit square on the cheek, your body seemed to fall in slow motion until you hit the ground, you closed your eyes letting a tired sigh slip past your lips, watching out of the corner of your eye as Kisaki did his best to defend himself against that same guy. You dedicated yourself to looking at the clouds in the sky without even getting up again, as if you were an opossum playing dead, hey, at least that way they wouldn't hit you again.

You only lay there for a long time, you even closed your eyes because you were starting to get bored, the boys only took a few more minutes, all their bodies surrounding you, guilt gnawed at some more than others ─Kakucho was very angry with himself─ but still it remained there.

"Do you think she's dead?"

"That's something very pessimistic, I haven't been able to go on a date with her yet."

Hanma and Ran murmured over the others who kept their questions as to whether you were okay inside, they didn't know if you were that weak or not, if you suffered from some disease or anything that could literally kill you, much to their relief you opened one of your eyes noticing how the sunlight darkened because their figures obscured it.

"It takes something more forceful than a punch to kill someone, unless the person is hit with a more forceful object or has already been seriously injured, statistically it is impossible for someone to die from a punch, well, unless it is a newborn baby."

"Oh never mind, she's perfectly fine."

Everyone sighed with relief, some being more audible than others, Kakucho helped you up, asking your forgiveness for not helping you before they hit you and they decided to go to a store to buy you a cold patch for the bruise that began to form on your cheek.

"Did you really just lie on the ground to wait?"

You hummed affirmatively at Mucho's question, who was waiting with you outside for the others to leave the store, you saw that he tried to hide his small laugh at your stupidity, if he had received that blow he would not have remained impassive, that person would definitely have to have a broken neck.

"We will accompany you home, come on."

"Huh? Izana, I appreciate it, but I'm not five years old."

"We're not taking no for an answer."

"Kakucho, not you too… I'm literally older than you."

“Well, look how we don't give a shit."

You looked at Rindou with a grimace for simply dismissing your words that you didn't need a squad to escort you home, but you couldn't do anything, even Kisaki accompanied you even though he said that he had business elsewhere.

These guys would cut their tongues out before admitting it out loud, but they took a liking to you in no time, and even though these idiots were a year younger than you (most of them) they would start behaving more carefully around you, they're not going to let today's incident happen again because they definitely wanted to spend more time with you.

"Gang members but you're being soft because someone hit a girl you only talk to from a group chat, that's cute."

A/n: No bc work will be the death of me. Off topic very but I found a video of my teacher stripping and my ex-math teacher twerking i cannot 😭

Summary: Reader is a Na'vi. Jake and reader met thru Neytiri. After the war with the sky people the reader finds a human baby in the forest. She decides to take care of it with Jake

Word count: Probably around 4k maybe

Warnings: mention of pregnancy, motherhood, adoption, baby fever, reader being a sweetheart towards the baby <3

It was a calm day, no duties no nothing. Where else to go but the forest?

The forest was a sense of comfort, a sense of belonging. You just went there with an intention of just spending her hours chilling in the trees napping. Seems like Eywa had other plans for her.

As soon as she stepped deeper into the forest she heard cries of a baby. Her ears moves trying to locate from which direction the sound was coming from. The cries were echoing in the calm forest.

She couldn't help but wonder what made a child cry this much? Surely it was a small Na'vi since the cries sounded like so. Maybe it was in danger and needed help.

Even though she wasn't interested in kids, kids loved her and always found a way around her. She took care of many kids from the village too.

Jake often teased her how she had a 6th sense for kids, whatever that was supposed to mean.

She followed the sound carefully, making sure the area was safe.

She got closer and closer to the cries of the child.

A wave of shock hit her when she saw a basket with a human baby crying in it. The baby was the size of her palm. Her hands were far to big to caress the child.

She was confused as to what this child was doing here, all alone in the forest, not just any baby too. A human baby without an oxygen mask. It would've suffocated to death a long time ago, this baby was quite strange.

Still she took it in her big arms. Caressing the child close to her chest. She has never been more gentle with an object before. The baby was so small and fragile. Barely even as big as her hand.

She made herself comfortable sitting on the ground trying to calm down the baby.

"Shh.. little one.." she whispered as she hummed a little time while the baby slowly stopped crying and just curiously looked up at her.

She smiled at the human baby. Even though it belonged to the sky people it was still adorable. The baby tried holding her picky finger but since she was a Na'vi it barely wrapped it's hand around the woman's pinky.

Suddenly realisation hit her, what is she gonna do with this child?

Na'vi wouldn't accept it. The sky people would kill her if she returned the baby herself. Baby's can't be returned back to Earth either..

"I'll keep you" She smiled at the baby while the baby copied her face expression, smiling with no teeth. It looked so adorable and fragile.

She slowly and carefully put the baby back into its basket as now it stopped crying. She always carried a small pouch with some cloth and so called 'leggings'.

She sat closer to the basket while the baby was moving around like a worm looking up and extending its arms out.

"You're truly fascinating little one. I mean you can breathe our air as a human.. or maybe you're some breed.." She talked to the baby who just basically spat out some noises and mumbles that weren't words.

After a few minutes she made a baby carrying pouch where she could fit the baby next to her chest. That way it'll be closer to her and she will be able to have a good look at it knowing it's safe on her chest.

She wrapped the cloth around her chest and around her neck and shoulders tightly for double security.

She then again carefully took the baby out of the basket and gently placed it inside the pouch. Now she could carry it more naturally.

She then got up after assuring the baby was comfortable and that it wouldn't cry immediately after she got up. She started walking towards the village where she knew who to find and ask for help.

Jake Sully. A man who used to be human. Maybe just maybe he'll know what to do with the human baby. But for know, she'll trust her motherly instincts.

She remembers talking about human babies with Grace in her school. The reason why she tied the pouch on her chest was to keep the baby close to her and to be able to hear her heart beat? From what she could remember the baby feels secure hearing the mother's heartbeat as it feels like it's a part of the mother. She thought that was extremely cute and just wanted the baby to feel comforted while listening to her heart beat. She could feel the baby resting its head on her chest while its arms moved around and after a minute or two, it fell asleep.

She got closer and suddenly her ears perked up again, picking up a sound. A very familiar sound. It was Jake yelling her name over and over again. She made her way closer to him, she came from behind and startled him when she made her presence known to him.

"Oh Y/n! Where were you-" Before he could finish she smacked him with her bow, not too hard. She then signed to him to keep quiet.

"Quiet." She whispered to him.

"Why are we whispering?" He asked her while noticing the pouch.

She looked down at the pouch and then removed the cloth that completely covered the baby. She finally revealed the baby to Jake whose face was in utter shock. He just stood there silent looking at the baby.

"Is- Is it dead?" He asked and earned yet another smack from her.

"You skxawng! It's not dead, I think it's some human and Na'vi breed.. It's breathing I can feel it breathing" She whispered again while looking at the baby. She turned her gaze up to Jake waiting for him to say something.

"What do we do with it?" She asked him. "Well, what can we do with it..?" He seemed even more lost than her.

"Do we keep it?" She asked him while cocking her head to the side exchanging looks from the baby to Jake.

"We?" Jake questioned and she deadpanned at him.

"Yes you skxawng. Like keep it like our baby" She requested.

"Why would you want to keep it? We can just give it to Norm and Max you know the guys-" She cut him off once again.

"No, we'll keep it and raise it like our own" She said full of determination.

"But why?" Jake asked, now he was actually curious as to why she would want to keep a baby of the sky people when the sky people destroyed her home.

"Jake I want a child, so I'll keep this child and we'll raise it like our own" She made it clear one last time as one of her hands was carefully on the pouch where the baby's back was.

Suddenly he understood why she wanted to keep the baby. Actually he could only assume this is why she kept the baby. Even though it was a human baby, she adored it and carried it like her own. Held it and touched it like her own. That's when he finally understood that she cared for this child like one of her own. And now it was one of her own.

"Well, I understand now but I'm just saying you could've always asked me for a baby I wouldn't mind-" He playfully said while trying his best to keep himself from laughing while she just turned to him in disbelief.

"You don't deserve to live" She jokingly rolled her eyes.

"Cmon and that's why you mated with me?" Oh boy was he trying to flirt with his own mate.

"Oh shut it!" She said and then started laughing a bit, she couldn't help it. She was overjoyed at this point.

He raised his hands in his defense playfully while a smirk plastered his face.

"You don't want to wake up our baby, do you?" He teased her while putting his hand on the babies back while looking at it peacefully sleeping.

She kissed his lips gently that night under the stars. Cuddling with him along their new baby, like a small little family that will eventually grow.

They took the baby to Max and Norm who confirmed that the baby will thru years develop more Na'vi like features and that most likely the mother is the Na'vi while the father is a human. A bit disturbing to learn that fact to be honest.

I'm always brain rotting about really silly things like food, fashion, and transportation in the devildom compared to the human world. world building i suppose?

but how do you think the spice levels compare? like there's different types of spicy, and the devildom for sure has spicier stuff. But i wonder how spicy it is. Like Mammon's hell sauce noodles...

I'm thinking about this because my mom cooked dinner, and she always makes separate food for me and my little brothers if she's using chiles (in this case it was just meat cooked without the spicy sauce). and i tried some because I'm trying to finally build my tolerance and I was dying at the first bite 😭 tastes so good though. she gave me a surprised look when i added more spicy food to my plate

i already know mammon would make me try spicy things for shits and giggles, or new foods because I'm a picky eater. Also there's a saying/joke in Spanish where people will ask if you were angry while making something if it's too spicy lmao.

I haven't been too active because I've been busy working early shifts and training in framing at my old store (forgot to set my alarms the last two days), but tomorrow I'm off, and going to ihop and bookstores with my friend !! she's trying to finish her current read so we can buddy read King of Wrath together (king of sloth comes out soon). I'M SO EXICTED

Ohhh yessss I love worldbuilding! And there's so much they leave out, there's plenty of stuff we can fill in, which is always fun.

Okay so spice levels, apparently it really depends on the individual as to how spicy something truly is. This is because humans at least have the ability to make themselves less sensitive to capsaicinoids, which is what they call plants with capsaicin in them. That's the spicy, I think they evolved with it to prevent predators from eating them, but humans were like nope we'll just get used to it!

Anyway, I think this is relevant because it's going to depend on whether or not demons also have that ability or if it's different for them biologically. Like okay, if humans eat enough capsaicin, over time they become partly immune to it, which is why some people can eat really spicy food and other people can't. I think some of that might also just be genetics... like some people might be born more resilient to it to begin with. But don't quote me on that lol.

So demons either have a natural immunity (not completely though because they clearly can still taste the spice, it's just much less) or they also have the ability to desensitize themselves to it.

I like to think it's a bit of both just like it is in humans, but demons have a higher tolerance level to start with. And they all have it. Because they're demons and that just feels right, you know?

But I also think it'd be interesting to consider that the tongues of demons are made of different stuff than the tongues of humans. Or that there are some demons who have tongues that are more scaly or something. Just because that'd be fun lol.

Anyway, I think the spice levels in the Devildom are probably pretty high. I like to think that Mammon has an especially high tolerance due to the fact that those spicy hell sauce noodles are his favorite. You know he eats them all the time and if they can also build tolerance, he must be super used to it by now.

I definitely think he'd make you eat spicy food lol. That's just how spicy food lover are, too. I'm also extremely sensitive to spicy foods. I've been trying to build up my tolerance, too, so I've been adding some hot sauce to things, but it's nothing compared to my brother in law. His spice tolerance is insane. And he's always like, here try this it's not spicy. I have learned not to believe it.

I love the idea that being angry while cooking makes food spicy.... I feel like there could legit be a spell for that in the Devildom, too.

🖌 - Do you have/want any tattoos? Yes, I have two tattoos. One is of a wasp on my shoulder/back that I got when I was 17 (regret, mostly, want to get this covered up ASAP), and my other one is a Sunrise/Sunset over the ocean with a palm tree in the foreground that I got when I was 19, on my right bicep. I won't post a picture but here's a drawing of them. The wasp was because I wanted a tattoo so bad so bad so bad so my mom hooked me up with a tattooist who happened to live down the street from us... I don't like it because it's just, very small, on the large expanse of my back, right next to some cigarette burn scars??? it just feels. out of place... The sunset was because @parasitefun and I had made life plans to live together within like, two months of us talking, and the original plan was for Florida. Because we met thru the Hotline Miami fandom, and also there was this band I was obsessed with that originated in Tampa and this article I read about them made it seem so romantically warm and humid and hazy... gosh. So the same tattooist who did my wasp also did my sunrise. It's not nearly this vibrant IRL because she was doing my work directly on my skin, and at the time I was only working in watercolor?! so it actually looks faded as fuck 😭 but other than maybe touching it up, I want to retain the meaning and build around it. my favoritest part has to be the lines in between, they're really broken up like that so the skin shows through!!!

as for if I want any more tattoos, yes, of course I do! I want more tattoos every day, but I've gotten more picky in the past few years... I can't really decide on any one design, and Parasite has been the sole earner for our entire relationship >_< so there's not usually any fun money set aside for things like body mods, unfortunately. Here's a design I've wanted since 2016- it's the cover art for Oneohtrix Point Never's "Garden of Delete" which is one of the only things that saved me that year ;_;

This morning I read an article about how heatwaves affect Train Tracks, which for some reason I can't find the article now but I'll try to find it later, but anyways heat causes train tracks to "buckle" which is just ludicrous to me, I had no idea, very terrifying. Railways are beasts... so beautiful... so feral... augh.

so anyways, then I fell into a 3hour nap and woke up to the sound of Parasite cooking dinner/lunch (pork chops n rice a roni), banging the spatula against the pot <3. And the first mental image that came to mind was of a tattoo design for a buckled rail, as a metaphor for having a hard time with your body, and doing what you're supposed to do especially when under heat and stress >_< cripple metaphorz, I guess...

I'll attempt to keep this a little short, but mainly: my system is so fragmented, so compartmentalized and so blacked out of Sense Memories, and seasons are senses. My mom has bipolar (or schizoaffective bipolar, or Sadistic Personality Disorder + HPD + ASPD, or god knows what else) and Seasonal Affective Disorder, and I ended up with Seasonal Affective as well v_v I think most people end up with a Strong Sense Memory attached to, usually, only one season, usually Winter or Summer... that's at least what I see most often when people talk about it, if they talk about it at all, but I ended up with serious trauma that seemed intrinsically linked to each of the Seasonal Changes 😓 It doesn't help that I'm exquisitely sensitive to temperature/air pressure changes, and I'm more or less "severely" agoraphobic both on a physical level (outside is way too large) and on a mental level (i am so small and there are so many people out there, people who can and will stare at me, and the architecture, oh god!)...

I have a lot of good memories attached to each season, and a lot of bad memories as well... so I guess it's more about the minute moments contained within each swirling maelstrom of seasons. Going out to the city with my mom in late October on an unusually crisp, sunny day so I'm sweating under my leather jacket but the air is stinging my face. Laying down on the concrete in the middle of the road in early March, feeling the sun on my eyes. That first breath of fascination upon waking up to the first snowy morning, at any point in Winter, except for most of my life I lived in Washington so, sometimes there wouldn't even be snow :/ These are flash in the pan memories that stick out like little shimmering crystals in a sea of lead and blood.

Most of my positive associations with seasons also has to do with how nature changes alongside with it, seeing the trees die and regrow, rain falling or sun shining or clouds moving, animals present or not, etc... it's all very magical and wondrous. Listening to birdsong calms me down, and it's one of my nicer hallucinations usually when I'm awake in the early morning hours... god there is nothing better than being awake at 4am in the middle of summer and seeing the very first slivers of sunlight followed by birds waking up 🐦🦆🕊️🌅

Ok so im a bit sleepy rn but i just realised smth. Im very stereotypically autistic (i do unfortunately love math and science 😭😭) and ppl will acknowledge it by jokingly calling me autistic. And yet if i bring up the fact that i am actually autistic they deny it?? Im weird up until then, but suddenly they say im too normal. I think its just bc they dont realise its a real diagnosis and not a synonym for "annoying". And they get a pass on making kinda rude jokes abt it but if u actually are autistic then they realise that its bordering on bullying. Also bc they get uncomfortable around ppl with any sort of neurodivergency or disability lmao (also im not a white guy so how can i possibly be autistic 🤪)

C — hmmm, starop. i can see why people like it but eh. it's really. not my cup of tea and i suppose i'm too much of a stickler for megop 😭 i think it's safe for me to say i almost always exclusively ship op with megatron, personally D — i think starop can also technically go here, but for the sake of somewhat diversity, opbee. feels weird because i always see them as a father/son relationship exclusively so the ship leaves a strange taste in my mouth. i think most ships involving megatron that's not megop also kinda goes here, mostly because as i forementioned, i'm chronically megop-pilled to hell and back (i have a very specific taste/preference and am very picky, i know) 💀 that's not to say i dislike them or anything, you just won't catch me talking about or drawing those ships almost ever (there are a few exclusions, ofc, but they are still rare) K — ooh, this one's a really, really hard to choose, what with my recent completion of the main kh series but i think gaara and as of recently, xigbar, axel and riku. i grew up with gaara and watched him mature and have a complete change of heart throughout the years, so he is always going to have a special soft spot in my heart. i can't really talk much about xigbar for extreme spoiler. reasons. despite the game being out for 5 years, but riku had a similar thing with gaara going on and it was just so nice to watch him grow and mature throughout the series. axel is just best boi. absolutely love him. jokes aside, his entire character arc tugs at my heartstrings. JJK Thoughts~

I just finished binging JJK, and I have to say, that it wasn't till like Sea2 that I actually started to click with this show, but now I think I'm here to stay! :D Here's just some general thoughts.

BTW idk if I'll start reading the manga or if I'll be anime only, but plz don't spoil anything past Sea2!! I also know of a movie, which I will be watching sometime this week, so no spoilers!

FIRST OF ALL, Mappa's animation is freaking insaaane, ESPECIALLY the battles, they're eyecandy!! 💕💕 My wholehearted respects to all the animators, esp hearing the studio issues. About the production, is it just me or was Sea1 lacking in some regards? The animation is just fine, but the way characters deliver lines, some really awkward pauses (or too short), the music being a hit or miss (like suddenly being intense for no reason, little/no build up, just doesn't fit the mood?). The genre they picked was good, but I think it could've been done better? Idk but it was a struggle to stay immersed at times, though it might just be me being picky. Sea2 was sooo much better in all regards to the point where the difference is hella noticeable. Side tangent, but the OP's all slap, my favorites in order would be 4, 1, 3, and 2!! ED's are so sweet too!!

Okie now story, (mostly) spoiler free! Though I think the main trio (Yuji, Nobara, Megumi) wasn't the strongest bond-wise, at least in Sea1, I really grew to love all their dynamics-- and I will say they really made me feel the feels later 😭 They're so siblings-coded I LOVE THEM! Idk where I'd rank Yuji in fav MC's because other than being good at fights, early on he was a little flat (to me) character-wise. Anyways, Sea2 gave him a massive boost in my eyes, def made up for that. He's so nuanced now, and I can't wait to see where his story goes! I hope there's hope of something with Nobara, and I'm super intrigued with Megumi's story progression!! Um, Nanami, top 3 probably. I think I adore him (platonically). Iykyk 💔 The classmates all left a decent impression on me, though I will say I don't think they're too prominent, so lowkey kept forgetting most 😅 Maki is best girl tho, 100%. I love Miwa, I eventually liked Mechamaru (ship? 👀), Panda is Panda, Todo always comes in clutch even if I'm ~eh~ on him, and basically I wanna see a little more of everyone! And I miss Junpei 🥲

I will say though, the very heart of this show are definitely the villains!! The type you hate and love to hate because they're that good (bad?). Mahito is a damn menace and loves being a menace- idek how bro keeps dodging death, even avoiding a swing from Gojo, but MAN. I hate him. Jogo is so interesting because he has so much potential, but is so freaking ridiculous sometimes, but then I lowkey understand the grind he wanna be on, so yknow kudos to him. I can see him as a fan favorite. Hanami was ok, definitely weaker in my eyes, but they left a good impression for their dynamic in the group. Choso idk what to think about him but I might like him?? His little intervention in the final episodes really left me w questions, so I'm hooked. I won't say I love him but he has potential to shoot up to my favs! TOJI!!! Talk about an antagonist that legit made me punch the air AKDHDLAL HE'S SO GOOD. I honestly got scared for everyone in his near vicinity bc that guy is unstoppable, and even though I'm supposed to dislike him, again, bros on a destructive grind and I respect that. (Pull up Zen'in clan 😤)

Alright, so uh, the big three eh? Gojo, Geto, Sukuna. I'LL ADD SPOILERS HERE. I love how this world is set up revolving around the fact that since Gojo is "the strongest," he bears the weight of responsibility the hardest amongst sorcerers for failures and accomplishments. I don't blame him for wanting to turn against the system that put them all in that spot in the first place. Lowkey his development between seeing everyone as lesser in his past, to now (still arrogant smtimes) wanting his pupils to join him in that title as strongest. Yeah, he's an OP character, so what. I can see why he's a fan favorite on story alone. He acts self-centered, but after knowing his story, I can see how he fakes it, what he really wants to achieve, and how he's grown to care for others. Idk where his story goes from here, but I'm definitely ready for more Gojo. Okie, GETO! What an interesting villain?? Legit took the best-friend-turn-evil trope and added one tragic spin to it AAAAH. His past friendship and playful rivalry with Gojo made his change of ideals (I totally feel like there was power jealousy btw) so much more impactful. Gojo starting off as the one who didn't care too much for others while Geto wanted to save people, switching over so Gojo wanted to find/make people just as strong to protect others while Geto, feeling left behind, found no point in saving humanity and their struggles. It's too good!? I think there's a hint real-Geto's not gone completely, but I also don't think he's actually coming back, as sweet as that'd be. I feel like there is backstory missing (the movie maybe?) so I'll try to see what or if I'm missing anything on my own. Finally Sukuna, and man what a way to depict an OP freaking villain! Like ok, sometimes it was hard to take him seriously, being over the top and all, but I love how rare his actual interventions are. It makes you give your complete attention to him when he does, wondering what the heck he'll do next. Also, his conversation with Jogo added a new layer to him that I liked, with respecting even Jogo of all people. I haven't seen many protag/antag dynamics like Yuji and Sukuna before, but I'm so intruiged in how long they're gonna keep up this switching thing? Sukuna must desire his freedom after all. I love how he presents himself, and how terrified people are of him, though it wasn't till Sea2 that I feel like he was finally able to show us how he can back up that presence with real power. I cannot lie, I lowkey fangirled at those scenes (bro literally forced a movie screen aspect ratio lmaooo) and also thinking how they actual heck anyone is supposed to beat him 😭 I dun think Yuji's fists are enough, and I'm lowkey concerned whether even Gojo could take him on. Like, yeah Gojo's the strongest, but Sukuna just nuked a city ez bro. Beautiful presentation on how to actually make your villains, well villains. :]

Erm, overall, I think I finally came around to really liking this series, despite the rocky start with Sea1. The power system is cool once I finally figured out the terms, it's got endearing characters that I wish I could save (😭), and cool tropes and story I wanna see the resolution for. I'll probably be mulling over this show more in the coming weeks, so prepare for that! 🫡 I'll be watching the movie and making my mind up for the manga or anime soon. You waited for your lover in your shared home, Deciding to wait till nighttime to give him with your gifts.

The gifts you prepared weren't much.

A homemade snezhnayan dinner (you spent time learning the recipes!)
