#Cam AND Jared in the house

for people without access to feeds or who have been ignoring them bc this week is stupid…cameron really stepped up the creepery today. was making constant jabs at cory - called america cory’s mom, made a lot of comments about age, weirdo shit like that - and said he thinks cory feels “weird” about them talking, moved so he could sit next to america who got up and sat next to cory and then cameron stood there seething and went “good job cory proud of you” (cory turned it into a self deprecating moment), then cameron like, poured his half drunk wine into america’s glass unprompted and jag, bowie, AND production all said to stop that, it’s weird. then he implied he and america were gonna hook up at jury. then she said cory was her main man and she’s gonna try to visit him a lot after the show & cameron kind of brushed past it to make a joke about like, coming in his pants over america. she said yuck and started nervously sipping her water bottle and jag came out then and cory went to sit back down by america.

it’s just been. so gross all day. then jared said to blue earlier “oh i caught cameron trying it on america. he-“ and feeds completely cut away so we have NO IDEA what he said, just this sort of implication he thought it was weird. yes JARED noticed something so weird about cameron’s behavior he said something to blue. i’m praying cameron fails the puzzle and jared comes in atp bc america clearly is uncomfortable and unsure of what to do.

people saying jared is so entertaining and chaotic and a great villain they want to stick around for those reasons but all i've seen him do so far since he got back in the house is bitch at blue and use her as an emotional punching bag per usual...

Cameron’s (and Jared tbh) tryna strike fear and anxiety into the hearts of the other hgs to teach them a lesson during his hoh and it’s not working at all. None of the hgs have come to his room to beg him for forgiveness and he’s mad about that.

He’s made comments about Felicia and Izzy being nervous wrecks when they’ve been chilling for the past few days. Most of the hgs still dislike Cameron and trying to make them scared is gonna make them want to evict him even more next week

ok there is something that like micro bothers me this season like i’m not worked up over it i just think it’s a bit unfair. it’s how the audience reacts whenever anyone in the house tries to turn cirie against jared or jared against cirie and the audience starts goofing on them for doing that because like no way is that gonna happen. but the houseguests DONT KNOW they are related!!! so why would they assume that they have such a tight bond after like a month and a half that there would be no way one or the other could be swayed. they don’t even seem that close in the house (a smart strategy obviously) like some of the moves people are making would seem worth trying if you aren’t aware cirie literally birthed the man and there is no way she’s turning on him. like the twist itself is fine i don’t have a problem that people don’t know it’s just i don’t think they are silly for not knowing what they don’t know either you know?

maybe i’m doing the math wrong— but i don’t think there’s a single person who would survive the block next to cirie anyways. she’s just that socially strong right now. i’m gonna go as far as to say that even if she was next to izzy and izzy blew up her secret— i think circle could still convince the house to keep her

Historically in this game women and minorities have been targeted for no reason other than the implicit or explicit biases of the majority alliances. They have been excluded from power structures and never given a chance to really play for non-game reasons.

I understand that a lot of us have scars from those seasons but that’s not what’s happening here and viewing it through that lens is leading people to draw conclusions that make no sense.

Cirie, Izzy, and Felicia ARE the power structure in the house. Everything up until this week has revolved around them and the decisions they wanted to make. Not all of the houseguests are blind to that, but most of them have felt that they lacked the social capital to make a move against it at this point, and would just be out the door next week if they tried this early.

Cameron on the other hand was in a position where he was out the door next week anyway, and this was clearly his only chance at building something outside of that power structure before going home. He had nothing to lose going after the top, so he did it. And it might actually earn him some protection for a week or two from the people who benefit from breaking up that trio! Of course people like America are going to celebrate someone going after the players who have always had a position of power over her in that house.

That’s frustrating from a personal perspective—I do not like Cams attitudes towards women and am not rooting for him as a player—but that doesn’t make it illogical (or bigoted) for the other players to be cheering this move on. And separately, cheering on a move is not an endorsement of everything a person has ever said or done in their life—half of which these people don’t know about because while we as an audience can see everything, the houseguests only know for sure what they have been in the room to see and hear.

I like Cirie, Izzy, and Felicia. I’d love it if somehow all of them could stay this week. It’s been really cool to watch a group take hold of the house that doesn’t look like the people we are so use to being in the dominant group. But if you are not one of those three women or Jared, leaving them all there together is as good as handing them the check. I can’t begrudge players for not wanting to do that, even if it is to the detriment of a person I enjoy watching.

i think production has heavily swayed cam’s decisions this week because what do u mean he woke up monday morning and decided not to break up grodners only remaining showmance. what do you mean he woke up yesterday morning and decided that meme, who has no strong allies in this house and no comp wins, should go before felicia who has a very messy social game but makes amazing television.

i don’t spend much time on bb social media other than tumblr, but if i had to guess, i would think that casuals aren’t a big fan of meme’s “i hate everyone in this house” attitude especially because meme doesn’t get much air time other than that. they get to see felicia bonding with cirie who they already like, and they get to see cormerica and y’all know casuals EAT showmances up. and production already lost insanely entertaining characters like reilly, hisam, izzy, and jared (ONLY because of the mother son thing). i think production can’t afford to lose another casuals icon before jury so they heavily intervened this week.

One of my pet peeves in this game is when people claim bullying in situations it does not apply. We've seen some sick psychological torture in this house as recently as last season, and it is very different than being thrown under the bus by your allies because you are horrible at the game.

There are definitely some people in the house that are horrible (Cameron, Jared), and some people that have had some not nice moments that are ultimately human (literally everyone), but what is happening in the house is not bullying. Everything has been game motivated, and nothing (besides the Cam/Jared stuff) has been personal. You are not getting bullied because you were evicted 3 weeks ago. That's just Big Brother.

Found several clips on twt of them cutting feeds whenever America's harassment is brought up and it's just further proof that production cares more about Cirie/Jared and the drama of keeping Cam/Red around than protecting the women in the house.

I really liked Felicia but hearing her say that America deserves to go home because she's vocal about when Cameron has made her uncomfortable (and Cirie agreeing) just hurt. She lost a fan today and so did Cirie.

Jared and Cam both back in the house and all I’m seeing as Jared being an ass updates, that’s exactly why I want Cam to stay over him. At least he shuts the fuck up and just sits on his sofa.
