headcanon that jacin and winter are the only people who call cinder selene. because jacin only calls her "selene" in his head during winter, and what struck me is when jacin tells winter that selene is alive and in fact, cinder, he says "i know you loved her" which means he also loved her too as a child so much but doesn't acknowledge it (because he excludes himself in that statement). because that fucking trio was inseparable and i like to think that they would become just as close as adults. and not to mention that jacin goes from not believing that cinder can overthrow levana to fully siding with her during the revolution, damn the consequences. and he accidentally lets it slip in a (brief) moment of affection towards her after the revolution and the rampion crew goes quiet when he says it and stares. then winter gets teary eyed and cinder tackles him into a hug. and another headcanon i have is that jacin is leaning against a wall or something watching cinder do something she did as a child and he smiles (a rare occurrence) and cinder pauses and says "what?" then he begins to tell her why this action is so familiar to him.

The vtuber enjoyer community is currently learning why multi-channel networks didn't work back in the old days of YouTube, except in the present day it's somehow even more fucked because the companies also own their channels and revenue sources and IP.

#vtuber stuff #i do love creators currently in corporations rn but there is a part of me that is annoyed that the only reason theyre so big is due to money #money as in start up costs and advertising and merch production etc etc #and then you cant really publicly advertise that channel is connected to you and your work #which is double fucked if you leave/get fired/whatever after some time and after a certain point dont even get residuals #cant really put it on your resume either and since its a niche of a niche less-online jobs just dont count it as experience without proof #its such cool technology (even just live 2d tracking) but the barrier to entry and ceiling of quality keeps getting higher even year #not to mention the power that these companies have over their talents in the way the industry is currently configured #its even more fucked if you start thinking on a systematic level #but yeah the current nijisanji PR trainwreck is a special kind of fucked #bullying and isolating their talent to the point of a suicide attempt? im not an expert in Canadian law but im pretty sure thats illegal #at the very least niji continually calling selens emergency contact (and probably hospital) to make a statement is probably against the law #seriously hope selen/doki and her family gets some legal consult because this is so fucked up #and the way they fired her is also probably illegal under canadian law

What is it about Banana that makes random people ask us if he's a basenji and then look like they don't believe us when we say he's not? Yes, ma'am, we've heard of basenjis before. No, ma'am, he is not one. He's mostly pit and chow, I promise you he is not a basenji and he does not look like a basenji.

#selene apparently got stopped while walking him earlier for some lady to ask her that #which is far from the first time that has happened #the amount of people ive had to tell that no he is not a basenji and in fact we've breed tested him so i am 100% certain about that #one lady told NOT ASKED but TOLD us at a outdoor market that he was clearly a 'malamar like those police dogs'#and then argued with me when i said he was definitely not a malinois but a mutt #people who know a few less common breeds seem to believe us the least when we say our dog is NOT an uncommon breed but just a shelter mutt #like i guarantee you that there are not purebred basenjis showing up in a NC county kill shelter for $10 adoption fees #funnily enough the shelter had him listed as a GSD puppy which... he also looks nothing like #but he DOES have a small amount of GSD in his mix #and of course our dog who is actually a recognizable kind of uncommon pure breed always gets called a doodle lol #and when i say 'no hes a german wirehaired pointer' i get that same 'i don't believe you' look #one guy at the dog park once was like 'oh is that the designer breed name or did you make that up?'#the conclusion is that average people have no ducking clue what dog breeds actually look like or what makes them recognizable #which is fine and im not gonna judge for it but like... please stop trying to correct me about my own pets #i promise i know more about them than some random stranger who just saw them for the first time
