Grab the Premium Homeownership Perks With the Probate Home Sale in California
Tumblr media
Landlords and property remodelers are interested a lot in property legislation activities. The contribution of the ADU owners in adhering to the tax management practices is equal. Over time, the legal terms of homeownership act as a game changer here. It’s a fact that the potential of property search tools is extraordinary. Most of them upgrade technically and seasonally. A Probate Home Sale in California is less complicated thereafter. Is creating value and comfort in all the real estate deals worth investing time and money in?

Southern California is still on fire and we need your help
Today, it is January 10th, 2025.
In good news, the the Sunset fire is now considered inactive and all evacuations have been reversed. It only grew to 60 acres at it's peak. The Hurst fire has shrunk to over 700 acres and is now 37% contained. The Lidia fire is still at over 300 acres but it is now 75% contained.
Sadly, that is all the good news I have. The Palisades fire has grown to over 20,000 acres with 6% containment. The Eaton fire has grown to over 13,000 acres. To put the sheer size of these fires into perspective, Manhattan has an area of 14,604 acres.
Tragically, 10 people have lost their lives.
At 2:43 PM, a fire known as the Kenneth fire started near the Woodland Hills area. It is 1,000 acres and is 35% contained as of writing. Sadly, this fire appears to have started due to an arson attack. Police currently have the suspect in custody after neighbors performed a citizen's arrest.
This morning, CBS conducted an exclusive interview with LAFD Fire Chief Kristin Crowley where it was revealed that Crowley warned LA Mayor Karen Bass that budget cuts would hamper the LAFD's ability to handle fire emergencies. Crowley confirmed that the city defunded LAFD by $17.6 million, which included a $7 million decrease in overtime pay.
THE EATON FIRE
The Palisades fire has received the most attention from mainstream media after celebrities and high profile Angelenos evacuated the region. Pacific Palisades is considered to be the most sought after real estate in the country as it sits on the Pacific Coast Highway between Santa Monica and Malibu. We now need to shift our attention to the Eaton fire.
The Eaton fire started on Thursday, January 8th, near Altadena Drive and Midwick Drive in the Altadena area. The city primarily affected by this fire is Altadena, home to over 40,000 people and is a mere 4 miles (6 kilometers) away from Pasadena. As of writing, it has burned to over 13,000 acres, has destroyed over 5,000 homes, with 0% containment.
Altadena has a large population of working and middle class families, particularly black families, whose families have lived in the region for generations. During the Great Migration of the 1900s, many black people fled to Altadena to escape the Jim Crow South. Octavia Butler, the world renowned author of Parable of the South, was from Altadena. As these Eaton fire continues to destroy the city, California is losing it's black history.
Do-Not-Drink Water alerts have been issued in Pasadena and Eaton Canyon as the Eaton fire has destroyed and contaminated the water pipes in the region as firefighters continue to fight the fires.
If you're able, please consider donating to the Gofundmes of Black families who have been impacted by the Eaton fires.
Please also consider donation to those have been effected in Eaton Canyon.
WAYS YOU CAN HELP
The Los Angeles Times has shared organizations that you can donate to included the California Fire Foundation. If you're in Southern California, this list also include mutual aid organizations where you can donate materials directly.
If you would like to directly donate to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation which will go towards emergency shelters, hydration backpacks, and wildland brush tools, you can do so here.
If you're in Southern California, please use the MALAN Fire and Wind Storm Resources spreadsheet to find mutual aid organizations near you and find places where you can donate or volunteer.
Finally, if you still have a Twitter account, please routinely check the app for Gofundmes from families who have been affected by the fires. Most Gofundmes are not listed on spreadsheets or official websites yet and many families are sharing them on Twitter. I found multiple has I was working on this post but I know for a fact there are more: (here), (here), (here), (here), (here), (here), (here), and (here).
Please continue to keep Southern California in your hearts. As the days pass, it has become increasingly clear that the damage being done by these fires is more than we can comprehend. Drone footage shows that Palisades has practically disappeared. It's now being estimated that these fires have done over $50 billion in damages.
Once these fires subside, Los Angeles County will never be the same again. Please continue to support us as we try to heal our wounded home.

Markled: MEgain Markle's BFF Ellen "the bully" DeGeneres & Portia RELOCATED to (of all places) MEgain & Sparry's former Cotswolds neighborhood. Ellen's MONTECITO property was already on the market as she fled America for the "racist" Great Britian.
Could it be the "Diddy" files? 🤔
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Too bad Ellen lacks British friends in high places.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi have moved to rural England, put their Montecito estate on the market and plan to never return to the United States, telling friends the election of Donald Trump was their primary motivation, a person close to the former TV host told TheWrap.
Though the incoming Republican administration was the cited catalyst, a fresh start couldn’t hurt: DeGeneres has been open about being “kicked out of show business” after reports of toxic workplace behavior at the syndicated “Ellen” show in 2022.
DeGeneres has already moved to the Cotswolds, a rural area in south-central England, the person said, adding that her Montecito mansion, roughly 90 minutes north of Los Angeles, has been pocket-listed or will be listed soon. A representative for Riskin Partners, the prestigious real estate company she retains, did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.
DeGeneres reportedly bought the sprawling Montecito property in 2019, and she and de Rossi have made it their primary residence; it wasn’t clear what would become of her other Southern California properties. A former spokeswoman for DeGeneres said she is no longer representing the comedian since her comedy special and tour are concluded.
DeGeneres recently released “Four Your Approval,” a stand-up show she produced with Netflix. In it, she chronicled how she was spending her time post-“Ellen” – and aside from the comedy special itself, none of it was related to show business.
“I decided to take up gardening,” DeGeneres said. “I got chickens. Let me see what else I can tell you about what’s been going on … Oh yeah, I got kicked out of show business … Yeah, the ‘be kind’ girl wasn’t kind. That was the headline.”
She then wondered aloud whether she should have set expectations differently.
“Had I ended my show by saying, ‘Go f–k yourselves,’ people would have been pleasantly surprised to find out I’m kind,” the comedian joked.

Can you imagine having a Palm Springs, California address, like the wealthy, for less than $750K? Well, here's the chance. Two rock homes are for sale - 1 for $749K and 1 for $699K - both have already been reduced by $50K. 2bds, 1ba.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They were built in 1930 inspired by Hopi and Navajo homes. The owner passed away and the family has had them on the market since 2022. They are historic and eligible for tax abatement under California's Mill Act Program.
Tumblr media
The listing is focused on the smaller one, listed for $699K.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, you have a large living room with a fireplace. There's a nice big alcove, too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You could do something with this. The alcove has a little stage-like elevation.
Tumblr media
I'm not sure what this is, but there doesn't seem to be a kitchen. Maybe that's why this fireplace is higher, like an oven?
Tumblr media
This looks like it would make a good kitchen, especially if you want a huge one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A patio is outside the potential kitchen.
Tumblr media
Here's a table by an old heat stove and there's also a cabinet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The larger home, built in 1929, features a casita.
Tumblr media
The real estate photos are terrible. They don't show bedrooms, baths, or which house is which.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A private road with limited access leads to the homes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The property looks neglected and overgrown, with lots of dead weeds.
Tumblr media
You can see here how the private road veers away from a Palm Springs neighborhood with pools and stuff.
Tumblr media
Looks like you can't access it from that main road. It's like the black sheep of the family that has to use the back door.
Tumblr media
The lot is 3.33 acres. I know that they reduced the prices but it still seems a lot for just a couple of stone shells. What do you think?

About the 'No HR' anon...wasn't Viv also paying artists from her personal paypal account?
Also, you can look up SpindleHorse on the Better Buisness Bureau and SURPRISE it's not there.
You can find it on the California gov website but that's about it. Funny enough, there's an address listed for the business. I looked it up on google maps and it's like a bank or something. Right the fuck on Ventura Blvd, too. Not a lot of cheap real estate there....just saying.
Always follow the money.

Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do took an estimated $500,000 in bribes as he helped ensure that COVID relief funds went to an organization that claimed to be feeding elderly and disabled people, federal authorities said. The group, the Viet America Society, was given $9 million, but only 15% of the money went to feed the disadvantaged, while most of the money was used to buy real estate. Do’s daughter, Rhiannon Do, was listed as an officer for the Viet America Society.  It is unclear whether Do’s wife, who is a judge in Orange County, was implicated in the scheme. Federal authorities seized $2.4 million in connection with the probe, and Andrew Do agreed to forfeit any interest in that money and two homes in Orange County. He still faces a federal hearing and possible prison time.
A high-ranking elected official in Orange County, California, has agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit bribery as part of a scheme involving a charity and the misuse of COVID-19 relief funds, prosecutors said Tuesday.
Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do took hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes as he helped ensure that money went to an organization that claimed to be feeding elderly and disabled people, federal authorities said. The group instead used much of the funds to buy real estate, officials said.
Do, a Republican, resigned his position on the board for the county of 3 million people, effective immediately.
“Mr. Do unequivocally broke the trust of the public,” Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer said during a news conference with federal prosecutors.

Cal Wins Shootout Over SMU 3-2
Lema Scores 16th Goal on Senior Day
BERKELEY – The California women's soccer team earned its 11th win of the season Sunday afternoon defeating visiting SMU 3-2 on Senior Day.   The 20th-ranked Golden Bears (11-5-2, 4-4-1) won the possession battle and took a season-high 26 shots to secure three crucial points in the ACC standings. Cal now sits in eighth place with 13 points and has a chance to finish the regular season tied with rival Stanford if it can come away with a win in Thursday's regular-season finale with the Cardinal.   After 42 and half minutes of scoreless soccer, the Bears captured some momentum with a true highlight goal just before the end of the half. In the 43rd minute junior Alex Klos chased down a ball by the right corner and fired a cross deep to the back post where Kenley Whittaker was waiting. The freshman rose to meet the ball and fired in a header to collect her first collegiate goal and put her team out in front. It was the first of two assists on the day for Klos.
The Mustangs (6-9-2, 2-6-2), who wrapped up their regular season today, responded early in the second half with an equalizer from Eliana Salama in the 48th minute.   Senior Velize King found the net next with an impressive individual effort in the 51st minute as the forward took as much real estate and she could until she was met by a Mustang defender in the penalty area. After deking back towards the middle King drilled the ball with her left foot and snuck it in between the near post and diving SMU goalkeeper Sierra Cota-Yarde. King is now tied for second on the team with three goals and 10 points.   Just as she did early in the half, Salama kept her Mustangs alive with another equalizer in the 59th minute to make it a 2-2 contest.   The fifth and final goal of this exciting, back-and-forth 22-minute stretch came off the boot of senior Karlie Lema. Klos played a ball into senior Alexis Wright who dribbled towards the SMU endline. Wright then centered it for a cutting Lema, who flicked in her 16th goal of the season. It was the 11th game-winner of Lema's career who now sits alone in fourth on Cal's single-season scoring list and is tied for second most in the country. Lema's 31 career goals are now tied for sixth on the all-time scoring list and her 38 points have moved her past Alex Morgan for fifth most in a single season.

Moorpark New Homes: A Blend of Charm and Modern Living
Tumblr media
Credit: Image by Francesca Tosolini | Unsplash
Moorpark New Homes: A Growing Community with a Rich History
Moorpark, CA, is a city in the southern part of Ventura County. It is both a small town and a generous city with all the benefits of a large city. Moorpark boasts a prolific past, a bustling community, and natural beauty that endeared many prospective residents, including families, professionals, and retirees.
In response to such needs, Moorpark's new home developments provide the housing market with stylish homes that are innovative, friendly to the environment, and well-integrated into communities. Let us see what makes Moorpark's new homes a favorite among home buyers.
Moorpark New Homes was founded in the early 1900s and was famous for growing apricots, lemons, and walnuts. Today, it has become a lively neighborhood preserving historic values and welcoming changes. New residential developments respect the tradition mentioned above using Moorpark cultural and architectural references in their constructions.
When we talk of the city's history, we have features such as the High Street Arts Center, which reflects the city's history, and the Moorpark Historic Depot. These novelties help the new homeowners experience living in a home renewed with history and contemporary construction.
Why Choose Moorpark for Your New Home?
Moorpark's new home developments are versatile and can accommodate people's lifestyles depending on their preferences. Here's why so many people are choosing to settle in Moorpark:
Moorpark offers the benefits of a suburban city while being closely located in large cities such as Los Angeles and Malibu. For this reason, families are attracted to the town by its good school district, which includes Moorpark High School and Peach Hill Academy.
Lovers of the outdoors enjoy the city's breathtaking landscape, natural parks, and trails, as well as Arroyo Vista Community Park and Happy Camp Canyon Regional Park.
Moreover, the city is rapidly progressing to be safe and friendly; it has low incidences of criminal activities and friendly people. The boom in the city's economy offers employment in education, healthcare, and the technological field, and new commercial sectors make life easier by providing shopping and restaurant facilities.
Top Moorpark New Home Communities
Moorpark Highlands
Moorpark Highlands is one of the most sought-after new home communities. This master-planned community sits atop the hills, and the homes are large with good space and features that include resort-style swimming pools, leagues of walking trails, and greenbelts.
The houses developed in Moorpark Highlands are new upscale houses with digital structural design, open kitchens, and energy-efficient systems.
Campus Hills Estates
With easy access to Moorpark College Campus, Hills Estates is perfect for balancing work and recreation. There are also very separate single-home lots, nearby schools and shopping centers, and facilities for community parks and other kinds of recreational areas.
Housing designs maximize windows for daylight, modern textures, and sizes for outdoor living and backyard entertaining.
The Paseos
Since luxury townhomes and single-family residences are within the affordable price range, The Paseos presents them as townhome choices to buyers. These include clubhouses, fitness centers, Mediterranean and Spanish looks, and convenient transportation by bus and other significant roads.
Moorpark Country Club Estates
Golf players will undoubtedly appreciate Moorpark Country Club Estates, a community of homes designed to complement one of the finest golfing facilities in Ventura County. This community features houses with rich interior and exterior decoration, light, bright, spacious living spaces, and outstanding blurring with the surrounding landscape.
The climate is perfect, with large, professionally produced homes with stunning, unobstructed views, direct, full membership in the Moorpark Country Club, and private gate entry into the property.
Design Trends in Moorpark New Homes
Hence, the new homes built in Moorpark incorporate new construction trends to provide buyers with modern and aesthetic residences.
Open space is convenient for vibrant and homelike, providing an embodiment of free space and comfort. Smart homes possess features such as lighting that is operated through a smart device, and Smart home appliances are commonly energy-saving.
Another element is sustainability, reflected by solar panels, unique drought-tolerant plantings, and energy-efficient windows characteristic of many Californian buildings. Other popular types nowadays are patios, decks, and outdoor kitchens, which let people enjoy Moorpark's weather to the fullest.
A Review of the Real Estate Market in Moorpark
Hence, the Moorpark real estate market still presents stiff competition, and the need for new homes has increased steadily. As costs differ based on localities, construction size, and finishes, basic homes should start from $700,000, mid-price homes from $900,000 to $1.2 million, and elite homes from $1.5 million to over $3 million.
Moorpark Single-family home affordability is relatively lower than that of neighboring cities such as Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley.
Navigating the Home Buying Process in Moorpark
Owning a new home can be one of the most significant investments of your life, and it all starts with purchasing a new home. Get a local real estate agent because they will assist you in choosing the right house to buy and even negotiate for the best price.
Prequalifying for a mortgage is crucial when searching for the proper price range.
A good way to do this is to see the model homes for facilities and amenities since it is easier than watching them on paper; studying communities with planned developments and upgrades is more beneficial for fixed plants and proposed improvements.
Living in Moorpark: What to Expect
It means you become part of a city with relationships, identity, and ultimately, the worth of life importance. People take time to attend trivial activities like the Moorpark Country Days and farmers' markets every year. You can visit cultural places like High Street Arts Center and Underwood Family Farms for fun and enjoyable activities for the whole family.
Moorpark has a very family-oriented environment with good schools, parks, and different family-directed activities for raising children. Many neighborhood groups are very active, and numerous volunteer work prospects exist.

O'Leary Ventures chief and "Shark Tank's" "Mr. Wonderful" Kevin O'Leary warned real estate investors against developing in New York following a state judge's ruling that former President Trump must pay $355 million in punitive damages in his civil fraud case.
O'Leary told "Fox & Friends Weekend" to take the "Trump factor" out of the equation and look at the case as if it were any real estate developer with a marked presence in New York State.
"Forget about the Trump factor," he said. "It's not about that. What does this say to everybody that wants to do work in New York and wants to risk capital? … this judge arbitrarily decide[d] that this is the right amount. I don't understand it. No developer does."
He added, "It's an atrocity. It's an embarrassment, but it's an assault on real estate."
O'Leary echoed his comments Monday on "Cavuto: Coast to Coast" on FOX Business.
'New York was already a loser state, like California is a loser state. There are many loser states because of policy, high taxes on competitive regulation,' he said. 'I would never invest in New York now. And I'm not the only person saying that.'
O'Leary said very few business sectors create the amount of cash flow that real estate does. What Trump was found liable for doing, he argued, is not too different from the typical "haggling" that goes on between a prospective debtor and a bank.
"You go to a bank and you say, 'Look, I want to borrow $200 million to build a building’. And they say, ‘What assets do you have that we can secure this loan against?’ And you point to a building you built before, and you haggle, and you argue about the value of that building."
With New York appearing to categorize some instances of that process as potentially fraudulent, O'Leary said New York has supplanted California as the top name on his list of "loser states" for business.

A Probate Home Sale in California is less complicated thereafter. Is creating value and comfort in all the real estate deals worth investing time and money in?

Normal: Part One
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Female!Reader
Word Count: ~1.9k
Summary: Another lunch with your parents reveals something that’s been locked in your head, but your dad makes you confused and jumbles up the truth. It’s hard enough to focus on a case with a deranged man killing people on the road, you don’t need family drama on top of it.
Warnings: canon violence, canon language, canon talk of death, methods of kill
Author’s Note: I do not own anything from Criminal Minds. All credit goes to their respective owners. If there are any warnings that exceed the normal death/kills from the show, I will list them. If you’ve seen the show, then it’s the same level of angst unless otherwise stated

"Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H.L. Mencken
Hotch requested everyone to meet at the plane instead of in the briefing room like normal. You're running a bit late since your go-bag wasn't properly prepared, but luckily, you had some time to waste. You get out of your car when your phone rings, telling you that you have a message.
You take your phone out to read the message your father sent you.
Can we meet up again? Are you going to be near us?
I'll be in Orange County. Any chance you can come down to me?
I have some business in town. I'll let you know when we can meet up. I'd prefer it if it were just you.
Sure.
You don't want to tell Spencer you're doing this because that would only upset him further. You'll tell him you're going out to lunch and would be right back. You enter the plane and see everyone is already there.
"Sorry, I had a bit of a delay."
You put your bag in the compartments where everyone else's bags are and join Spencer's side who saved you a seat. As soon as you're settled in, the pilot starts to take off. When you're at cruising altitude, Jordan begins the briefing.
"Ten days ago in Orange County, California, Judy Hannity who is a real estate broker, and a mother was injured by a shotgun on the 91 freeway."
"Did she survive this?"
"Barely. She's paralyzed from the waist down. The second and third victims were both DOA. There were different vehicles for each shooting. A small black SUV, a black sedan, and a white sedan with no makes and no plates."
"Any reliable witnesses?"
"The first victim described the shooter as a normal, middle-aged white guy in an SUV."
"She gave that description but she couldn't remember anything else?" Hotch asks.
"Isn't that consistent with trauma?" Jordan asks.
"No, actually. Trauma victims either remember everything or nothing," you state. "I'm confused, though. The third victim was shot last week and we just got the phone call now?"
"Until the third shooting, the locals weren't convinced it was a serial shooter. There were different cars, and in the first shooting there was a different weapon."
"It's the same weapon," Rossi corrects Jordan. "The shot pattern on the second and third one may be wider, but he sawed off the shotgun. It's the same shooter. He's evolving quickly."
"The media has already dubbed him the Road Warrior."
"That explains why they wanted us there so quickly. This type of unsub is the hardest to catch. His victims are impersonal to him. One-third of the time, he flees with his vehicle, another third is that the victim's cars are a wreck, and the last third is the road that's contaminated by all the other cars that drive over it."
"How do we get him?" Jordan asks.
"We build a solid profile. We release it to the public with an appeal for help. Somebody knows this guy."
When the plane lands in Orange County, you're taken to the sheriff's station that is housing all the victim's cars. The detective on the case is eagerly waiting for your arrival, and when she sees you, she immediately heads over. The victim's cars are to your right, and you have to take a deep breath to prevent yourself from being overwhelmed.
"Thea Salinas, sheriff's county homicide. I'm running the task force."
"I'm Special Agent Jordan Todd, and they are Special Agents Rossi, Hotchner, Prentiss, Morgan, Y/N, and he's Dr. Spencer Reid."
"Are these the vehicles from the shootings?" you ask.
"Yes."
"Did you set up a hotline?" Jordan wonders.
"Like you asked. We have the local stations putting the number out there. We're getting about a dozen calls an hour."
"I'll alert the media to stand by for our press conference. Excuse me."
Jordan leaves the group as Hotch, Derek, and Spencer walk over to the cars to inspect them.
"The sheriff's department and the CHP are on tac alert. We've got choppers on round-the-clock freeway patrol. The victims' vehicles come with maps, CSPs, and bullet points. Everything we got on the case is in this room."
"Anything solid on the tip line?"
"The usual nutjobs, crime buffs, and bored senior citizens. Orange County has an endless supply of three things--freeways, news coverage, and blond female luxury car owners."
"Are people pretty scared?" Emily asks.
"I could ask for a submarine and get it."
You leave Rossi and Emily's side and head over to the crashed cars. You grab and slip on some gloves so you can touch the evidence. You always get a better reading when you can touch things unless the energy is strong enough for you to paint a picture with. The crashes happened too long for that to happen, so touching the cars is the next best thing.
"What can you see?" Hotch asks you.
"Give me a minute."
You run your hands over the sharp metal carefully, and you close your eyes to focus on the energy the cars still have. Yes, the crashes happened a while ago, but there will always be energy left on them no matter what. It fades over time, but it never really leaves.
The first car is the most special since it's the first in a spree, so you might get something from it more than the others. The victims' pictures are posted on a bulletin board, so you can see the first victim in her car driving down the road. There is a car speeding toward her on her left, and when she looks over, the unsub has a shotgun in his hands. He shoots her, and the car runs into a concrete median and flips in the air, landing on the top of the car.
He's a white man, and based on the fact that you can't see his face, you know he's the unsub.
"I see her on the freeway," you tell Hotch, "and she's talking on the phone. The unsub comes speeding toward her on the left. He shoots her closed driver's window and she hits a concrete median. Her car flips and it lands on the top of the car. He drives off like nothing happened. I can only see his skin color. He's Caucasian. If another accident happens, or if I can talk to Judy, I might get more off our unsub. The first one is usually important. It's the first time he started killing, though, he never killed her."
"Good job," Hotch praises. "The first MO in the first shooting differs dramatically from the other two. The first one is in daylight on a crowded freeway."
"That's dozens of potential witnesses. It's high-risk. He got lucky."
"Well, then, he's a fast study. He sawed off his shotgun and lowered his risk by switching to nights and changing vehicles."
"What if he wasn't planning on murder the first time?" you say. "We know what he's capable of when he plans ahead, so if he's not planning to commit a crime, it makes sense for him to drive his own vehicle."
"Then why did he have a gun in the SUV if he wasn't planning to commit murder? What happened to make him pull that first trigger?" Derek asks.
"As I said," you turn to Hotch, "I need to talk to Judy."
Hotch decides in order to keep Judy from feeling overwhelmed, only he and you are going to interview her. She is still in the ICU at the local hospital, and when you get there, you see her son in the room with her.
"Ms. Hannity, I'm agent Aaron Hotchner. This is agent Y/N. We're from the FBI."
"She already told the police everything she can remember," her son quickly comes to her defense.
"Rick... it's okay," Just whispers. Hotch takes Rick outside so you can be alone with Judy. When they're gone, you take a seat next to her bed and give her a warm smile. "It's just the two of us. He feels like it's his job to protect me."
"It's good that you two have each other. I understand you spoke with the police, but I'd like to go back to the shooting if you can."
"I don't remember much. It comes back in pieces."
This is where you come in.
"May I hold your hand?"
"Why?"
"I'm a psychic. I can help you recover lost memories if you are okay with it."
"Doesn't hurt to try, I guess."
Since she is paralyzed from the waist down, she can still move her arms to reach out for you. Instead of letting her waste her energy, you grab her hand gently in between both of yours. The trauma from the accident is still very high, so you use that to help paint a more accurate picture of who this unsub is.
"So, you were angry?" you ask with your eyes closed.
"More like impatient, I guess."
Judy comes up behind the unsub in his car, but you can't see the license plate number. It's blurred out because that's not what she was focusing on. It's not the most important thing in her mind at the time, so you won't be able to see it no matter how hard you try. She slams on her horn for him being too slow, and she eventually passes him in a huff of anger. She zooms past him and gets in front of him to show him how angry she is for him being too slow.
"You cut him off?" you ask.
"Yes."
"Was there anything else? Did he swear? Did he honk? Did he threaten you in any way?"
"He tried to speak to me."
The unsub pulls next to Judy's car on the right and tries to get her to roll down her window. From the corner of her eye, the unsub looks completely blurred out. When she faces him, most of him becomes clear for you to see. She was talking to someone on the phone, so she wasn't paying attention to any defining features, but her subconscious picked up a few things that you are able to see.
The unsub is an older white man with round glasses. He is balding on the top of his head, so whatever hair he has is in the back and on the sides, but it's not much. He's wearing a suit and tie like he works in an office building. You can't see his eyes or nose, but you've gotten a lot you can use for the profile.
Based on how he's dressed and how nervous and shy he is when he talks to Judy, you know the kind of man he is.
"What did he say?" you ask.
"He couldn't say anything. I wouldn't give him a chance." She says something to him that causes him to lash out in anger. You already know the result of his anger. You open your eyes and let go of her hand. "If he hadn't seemed so normal, I wouldn't have said anything. I usually don't even use my horn, because on the road... you never know."
"I'll ask your son to come back in."
You leave the room but hold the door open for Rick.
"Is she okay?"
"She will be with you by her side. She's lucky to have you." Rick goes back into his mom's room, and you shut the door behind him. "She made it personal. She got angry at him for driving too slowly. When he confronted her, she told him off and drove off."
"Did you see what he looks like?"
"He's an older white man. If I had to guess, I'd say he's in his mid-fifties. He's balding on the top of his head, and he wore a suit and tie. I think he works in an office building of some kind. He seemed nervous to talk to her like he was not confident in himself."
"Two for two," Hotch chuckles.
You two head back to the police station where the rest are talking to Thea.

Devastating wildfires that are still raging throughout the city of Los Angeles have displaced more than 100,000 residents in just a few weeks, leaving families without homes and communities in ruins. This is a situation that should be met with humanity and compassion.
Instead, many landlords and real estate agents are illegally exploiting the crisis for profit. Despite California's emergency declaration that bans price gouging and limits rent increases to 10%, landlords in Los Angeles have been caught raising rents by as much as 134%.
Hiking up these prices is not only breaking the law - it's callous and cruel. Sign the petition to demand that California officials aggressively prosecute landlords and realtors who violate price-gouging regulations!
Imagine losing your home to flames, and having to search for new shelter - and fast. But when you look for a new place to rest your head, you find that suddenly you have few options, because heartless landlords have suddenly implemented egregious, predatory rent increases.
One three-bedroom home in the neighborhood of Mid-City was previously listed at $5,500 per month. Just two days later, its listed price skyrocketed to $15,000 per month. Another property in Santa Monica saw its rent leap from $12,750 to $28,000 - a 119% increase.
These outrageous price hikes are blatantly illegal under California Penal Code 396, which carries penalties of up to a year in jail and $10,000 fines. Yet, enforcement has been weak, and bad actors continue to prey on vulnerable families.
These practices are not just about greed - they are an attack on basic human decency. Housing is a fundamental need, especially during or after a disaster. Families who've already endured the trauma of losing their homes are now locked in bidding wars, with some offering astronomical sums like $1.5 million upfront for rental properties, only to still lose out and have nowhere to go.
This behavior is a direct violation of the law and a moral failing. If this exploitation is allowed to continue, it sends a dangerous message: that landlords can profit off the suffering of displaced families with impunity.
Sign this petition to demand that California officials uphold the law, crack down on price-gouging landlords, and protect fire survivors from further harm!
