Forte is a highly respected (among the Hylians anyways) higher up that serves the Royal Family. She is quite stern and diligently follows rules, and has quite a temper with surprising physical and fighting prowess to boot. Don't ever piss her off, or you'll have a spear shoved right in your face before you can ask where it even came from.

Cadence, also known as Nocturne to the Lorulian people, is the Boss of the new Theives Guild. They and their sister Minuet overthrew their monstrous last boss in order for them and the group to survive. Pissed at the Royal family's apparant disinterest in actually helping their people, Cadence's policy is sort of a "steal from the rich and give to the poor" type of way. Though if you're the type to screw other's over for your own gain, rich or poor, you'll get what's coming to you either way.

Much later in Forte's story it turns out she's also not one for following authorities, but was being forced to obey them. The revelation comes with her whole world crashing down around her, but she has friends to help pick up the pieces and regain her autonomy

hermitcraft:

xisuma has a very consistent sleeping scheduel. he will pass out at 9:30pm on the dot regardless of what he’s doing or where he is and then wake up at 5:30am exactly everyday without fail

xisuma has several suits stored in his base, all of which are of different mobs (excluding the 50 plain green ones), and that’s how he’s able to change his skin so often

unlike xisuma, ren never sleeps. he’s constantly awake until sunrise or even beyond then working on whatever project he’s started. often times he ends up falling asleep at the base of a nearby tree or on his unfinished project because he kept himself working for too long to be able to fly to his bed

for the same reason why he never sleeps, ren never brushes his hair. if he doesn’t have time to sleep how would he find time to do that?? his solution is various hairstyles: one day it’s braided, the next it’s a ponytail, the next it’s a bun, and so on

cub has nearly infinite knowledge on all mobs and minecraft rules. somewhere in his giant pyramid or storage system there’s a book with all you could ever need to know on ravagers, and there’s probably another book on unicode, and then another on biomes, and then anoth

joe, on the other hand, does not know much about mobs. he knows what to avoid and what he can befriend, and the rest he learned through from experience. sometimes he’ll show up at cub’s base and take one of his books as if it’s library with no book organization just so he can figure out why tango just went flying over the shopping district saying something about his magic ravager teleportation system or whatever it is that time

false and wels talk about cool swords together and show each other their sword collections on a regular basis

the only person who knows more about minecraft flowers than cub is stress. sure cub knows everything about anything, but this is stress we’re talking about. if you ask her to talk to you about poppy’s you’ll leave the conversation knowing their spawn rates in every biome, the hex codes for each color, when they were added, why their spawn rate is what it is, etc.

mumbo has no idea what going on 90% of the time. he tries, he really does, but he occasionally stops in at his hobbit hole to see if grian’s left him any messages and he’ll read a letter about the turf war and something called moo-pop and the next thing he knows he’s on HEP. he has no idea how this kinda thing keeps happening to him, but he doesn’t know how to make it stop either, so he just rolls with it

tfc knows a bunch of really cool obscure facts. he also owns a lot of really cool obscure items. if you walk up to him and ask him about coal ore, you’re bound to learn something about why it spawns where it does or whatever. he’ll be able to tell you the origin story of endermen, and he’ll be right, but no one will ever be able to figure out how or why he knows this

just like tfc owns a lot of obscure things, he collects a lot of things too, which is often how he has these obscure things. he’s got a collection of coal, dating back to the first one he ever mined, all the way to one he found with a little bit of iron in it

xisuma knows how to sew and evil xisuma knows how to knit. if you bring up sewing to xisuma he’ll show you something he recently made, but if you ask ex about knitting he will fight you

doc likes to play the villain in a storyline for the aesthetic of it. in reality he’d do anything to help his friends, even if he is a bit chaotic in doing so

Kaito grew up in Celadon City in Kanto, although he often visited Kalos ( particularly Lumiose City ) with his parens when he was younger. He seemed to take after his father, who was a professional magician, except he brought that stage magic to the contest stage in the form of appeals. Toichi’s death was ruled as an accident and Kaito had no choice but to accept it — until he caught his father’s assistant, a family friend named Jii, sneaking out at night. Apparently, Jii had been intending to meet contacts in Saffron City that promised information on criminal syndicates that might be related to Toichi’s death.

Upon realizing that his father had been murdered, rather than perishing in an unfortunate accident, Kaito resolved to track down the syndicate responsible. He took to following whispers of criminal activity, trekking across regions and and seas in hopes of finding the one he’s looking for. In the meantime, he lends a hand to putting down other shady organizations, but his priority is the one that killed his father.

Thus far, the only substantial lead Kaito has is that the organization seems to be interested in keystones and mega stones, especially the Diancite.

Kaito’s travels began in Kanto, but he eventually made his way over to Hoenn for contest purposes before dropping by Sinnoh, then Unova, then Kalos to visit his mother, and then Johto, before swinging back home to Kanto. He soon left again to chase more rumors of crime before deciding to explore Alola.

Kaito has a mild aversion to fire-type moves and a sever fear of fish-like ‘mon. He’d be more comfortable with a Gyarados than a Magikarp, honestly. He’s still incapable of balancing on icy surfaces, for some reason.

Given to Kaito as a newborn Zorua when he was too small to remember, Zeke is Kaito’s closest companion. Due to growing up together, the Zoroark is fiercely protective of Kaito, especially after evolving a couple weeks following Toichi’s death. He enjoys and encourages Kaito’s use of magic, and regardless of how disgruntled he may be at his teammates’ more carefree attitudes, he still values them closely. Generally speaking, Zeke abstains from using illusions as a major part of performance appeals, since it feels like cheating and doesn’t provide the satisfaction that pulling off a proper magic trick does.

Crystal seemed to come out of nowhere, having hatched from an egg in the flock’s nest that nobody really remembered getting there. Still, Kaito and his family welcomed her warmly, and she quickly evolved from a Togepi to a Togetic. A Shiny Stone was given after Toichi’s death — a gift from Chikage, in hopes of warding off further strife from her son. Crystal often flies to provide quicker transportation if needed. She’s often the one who contacts other members of the flock ( described at the end of this post ) when Kaito asks for them.

Befriended after being discovered stealing the house’s spare key, Kris is a cheerful Klefki whose movements are often heralded by merry clinking and jingling of her keys; one to the Kuroba house, one to the Nakamori house, a decorative one that used to be a necklace charm, and a keychain with an old picture of the Kuroba family. The last was a souvenir that Chikage bought from Kalos. Kris is also a skilled pickpocket, especially with small objects and keys, but always returns what she takes in good humor, even if it might take some persuasion from her trainer.

Oddly attracted to shiny objects, Kid is the most commonly seen pokémon walking alongside Kaito ( barring Zeke ), and has no qualms with being his trainer’s steed. Kaito won him over from the wild with berries and an appeal demonstration. Kid tends not to be fazed by anything, merely nodding and plodding along, though he adores challenges and loves to play around with his fellow ‘mon. Kaito suspects that Kid easily agreed to be caught because its calm life was growing dull, though Kid gives no confirmation or denial.

Separated from her group as a Cottonee when storm winds blew her away, she was caught out of the air by Crystal. However, though they searched the area for several days, they couldn’t find out where the rest of the Cottonee had gone. In the meantime, Dizzi bonded enough with the team to decide that she would stay with them. By the time she finally found her group, she’d decided to stay with Kaito permanently, and officially departed from the other ‘mon on good terms. She only recently evolved with a Sun Stone won from a contest, though it hasn’t changed much; Dizzi still continues to fluff up anyone’s face as she wishes.

» { Cody the Porygon-Z } ◯ { w/ Adaptability - Modest } » Tri Attack + Ice Beam + Lock-On + Zap Cannon » Met at Saffron City, Kanto.

     Cody evolved when coming into Kaito’s care, and since has been an odd one who never quite speaks. They make soft beeping or buzzing noises on occasion, but usually act without sound. Due to the spastic nature of their movements, however, Cody highly values precision and will often use Lock-On even when not following up with Zap Cannon. Nevertheless, they prefer avoiding battle confrontation, and are most often seen in delicate appeals in which Lock-On becomes a vital move.

Loves to Chatter all day long, especially since Kaito chatters back, unlike most others. Loud noises and machinery scares her. She’d run away from a prior trainer and suffered heatstroke; after being saved by Cody’s Ice Beam, she likes to stick by them. > Crème ( Vanilluxe, Female ) Ice Body | Bold | Unova    Hail, Blizzard, Water Pulse, Mirror Coat    First encountered as a Vanillish mimicking ice cream as a prank, and Kaito almost tried to eat her. She Water Pulsed Kaito in the face and was about to fight Zeke, but was won over by Anna being adorable, and thus joined the team. > Lily ( Floette, Female ) Flower Veil | Timid | Kalos    Razor Leaf, Fairy Wind, Lucky Chant, Wish    Gifted to Kaito here, after being swept away in a storm. Dizzi in particular bonds with Lily over similar circumstances, and they work together well enough that Kaito is considering training them specifically to work as a pair.

Kaito is also responsible for, though not the direct trainer of, a large flock of bird Pokémon that his parents had maintained; Toichi’s Swanna and Chikage’s Altaria are the supposed leaders. There are countless Swablu, a few Chatot, some Fletchling, Starly, Pidgey, Pidove, Pikipek, and Ducklett, not to mention the odd Natu. The younger members hang out around Kaito every so often, and participate in his tricks when called for.

A shiny Gengar with a Gengarite ( Sludge Bomb / Shadow Ball / Focus Blast / Hypnosis ) that once belonged to Toichi technically belongs to Chikage now, but he occasionally makes his way to Kaito, whom he adores. Called ‘ Phantom ’ , he’s a hearty prankster that Toichi caught many years ago as a shiny Gastly, and was highly attached to the magician. Once he evolved, people stopped noticing that he was shiny, allowing Toichi to have the advantage of surprise in his performances when he Mega Evolved him. Phantom still holds the Gengarite in his mouth, even though he’s lost his trainer, and absolutely refuses to let go of it.

In Lumiose City with Chikage resides a Fennekin with the hidden ability Magician; however, this starter is not a part of Kaito’s team due to his aversion to fire. The Fennekin was once close friends with Kaito and Zeke, but at this point has grown distant, though they keep in touch. Her name is Fira.
