Welp, part 2 is done now & I'm gonna tell you about it.

so from left to right we have: Starflight, Sunny, & a new goober named Sulfer!

Sulfer (The Skywing on the right) is a OC of mine who's apart of a AU these designs are apart of. If you wanna learn more about him, there's a link at the bottom here. VVV

Now here are the changes I made for the last 2 of the DoD:

Gave Starflight HUGE ears bcs I imagine Nightwings being based on bats more. (Also bcs he's blind now so now he need to use echo-location (idk how it's spelt sorry) which prob has been heightened due to him living in a frikin cave for so long-)

Sunny has some weird frill things near her neck, this is based on how some lizerds irl (I think) have some weird frills which puff up & make em bigger. However considering Sunny's is fluffy (bcs NiGhtWiNg DnA), it isn't as beneficial + she's a gremlin.

I kinda gave Sunny more colors (primarily on her belly which are faint but there) bcs teh sun does produce light & light produces colors which we can see. So just though that be neat.

Starflight has slightly bl00dshot eyes, mainly bcs you know what had happened between him & the volcano. (Which why he wears the blindfold now. (I know he isn't wearing it in here but JUST LET ME IMAGINE HIM GETTING HELP TO TAKE IT OFF FOR A BIT BCS SWEATY!)

Gave Sunny a 2 toned eye color bcs I weirdly imagine her mother being a misfit dragon (by that I mean the blue-grey eyes that my Sunny habs) also bcs blue fits well with any warm color imo.

Yes these designs are infact also in the same group as the designs I did for the 3 first DoD members. However these are NOT REDESIGNS! But AU designs bcs in my AU the tribes have more pizzazz & diversity. Also Sulfer is not in the Canon, he's a OC of mine apart of this AU I made which also changes bits of the lore.

Anyways enough rambling/yapping. Hope you enjoy this, or not. I'm necc is currently hurting rn & I just wanna end this so it's ending now.

Since I don’t want her to die an undeserved death I hereby decree that Jun the Prodigy is still alive after she’s separated from Xolaani.

I mean she looks like this.

But she’s come back, yay friend!

The first thing she’ll see once she comes to is Master Yi kneeling by her side. He’s thrown his helm away despite the danger because she must see his face and know he’s there for her.

“She really did her a new one”, Rhaast comments. Kayn squeezes the hilt of the scythe to shush him: that is not the time and place.

Heavens, what has he done.

“I want to go home”, Jun whispers through unfathomable pain. Despite the scabs and puss leaking from her forehead, Yi kisses it and embraces her.

The war against the Void rampages between them, but it’s as if they cannot feel it at all.

They’ll manage without him, for a while.

“We will go home.” If they still have a home after the onslaught of the Void. “Now close your eyes and meditate, dearest.”

“Don’t… don’t go.” She grabs onto his armor with one hand. “It’s dark…”

It must have been so long since she’s seen the light. Now the cursed weapon is nothing but a simple dagger, and there’s a smeltery waiting for it once they’re through.

“I’m not letting you go. We’ll meditate together. You’ll feel me, this I promise. But trust me.”

He eventually manages to pull his protégée into meditation, as the healing process of the Wuju art soothes the pain in her body and drags her away from a lethal end piece by piece.

But what they don’t know is, another Darkin is watching them from afar.

“…they make it seem so easy”, he scoffs, walking off, his thick sword making sparks as he drags it across the floor. A Void best runs at his throat, jaws agape: he swats it like a fly.

today on disabled exdiff major characters im drawing for disability pride month, the second-most complex design i have for a main character, the bad reverend serial killer aka gurji taeja! taeja first appears in chapter 41 of broken mirror and sticks around for 3 chapters to help shepard and company, then reappears in blood in the water as a deuteragonist dragging shepard into an adventure against their will to go save terra nova. shepard doesn't like her but too bad, i the author do, and so do my readers. she's off doing her own work at the moment in in the land of giants, but she'll be back soon!

the blunt isn't weed btw it's a hallucinogenic drug called naenoda used by salarian priests to commune with the gods. taeja was trained as a priest of the death gods and still follows the god of just deaths and revenge, even though she's otherwise cut all ties with organized religion due to backstory reasons, and smokes a bit of naenoda from time to time for fun and also pain relief. come read my fic i'm very normal about this oc.

her legs were mangled by a predator attack when she was young, and due to her shitheel brother who lured her into it in the first place (it's cool those teeth around her neck are from the predator that tried to eat her and that's her brother's blood on them, don't worry about it :) ) she was left for dead and had to drag herself back to civilization, so they uh. didn't heal right, exactly, and struggle to support her weight. nowadays she alternates between standard braces, special braces that were built into her armor's endosuit, and sometimes a walking stick for short distances if she's already taken them off for the day but needs something from the kitchen.

things got dialed up to 11 after she fled to omega, joined eclipse, had a falling out with eclipse, and was beaten most of the way to death (intentional) and nearly burned alive (accidental) - note her toes on the one side, there's scraps of what used to be webbing attached to her toes, but the fire effectively seared them away and now that foot sinks lower and spreads further than the other trying to support her weight. her eye was completely unsalvageable, and the surgeons offered her a clone replacement, but she opted for the cybernetic robot eye partially because it's cool and partially because she got recruited for the spectres in the process and wanted a cyborg eye for combat advantages. not pictured are all the additional cybernetics under her skin to rebuild her arm and leg and keep her organs working, and the extra stuff wired into her brain to control everything (especially the eye) and, ah. fix some brain damage. she's fine it's fine. the right half of her face is also paralyzed, and her vocal chords were burned, so facial expressions and speaking are difficult, but it's fine, that's what a few extra apps on her omni-tool and a vocoder implanted in her throat are for. she's fine!!

also she successfully completed spectre training and promptly went back to omega, killed all the eclipse mercs who tried to kill her, and also killed her shithead emotionally abusive father and sealed his bones in her armor so he can never enter the reincarnation cycle and will be trapped in limbo forever, it's fine, she's doing fine, she's definitely stable and does not need therapy about anything she's fine she has hallucinogens and a VI in her brain and batarian friends who are better family than her own she's FINE

Nora is a Commander from another timeline. In her world, another possible reality in the vast space of the Mists, she took Loretta's place as Pact leader, dragonslayer, godkiller, and Aurene's Champion. While her timeline holds differences - some friends are dead, or undead, others survived, methods and plans varied - Nora successfully led her world to safety under a new Dragon Cycle. From there, though, everything went awry. Something with her version of the Astral Ward's fractal experiments went drastically wrong, and Nora's world was fractured into pieces and sent crashing into the experimental fractals of Loretta's reality. Pieces of her Tyria were split apart and trapped in endless repeating loops - some spanning a matter of days, or hours, either in their current time or stuck in the past or future. Only those with the magic or mental presence to see the truth escaped, and with their Wizard's Tower mysteriously gone missing, Nora and a select few members of Dragon's Watch turned to Loretta's wizards for help instead. With the wizards being their only hope to fix their reality, they have integrated themselves with the Astral Ward, despite lingering distrust. Nora took on the role of Wayfinder and entirely handled the Kryptis rebellion, while Loretta remains blissfully unaware of the Astral Ward and Eparch at all.

Nora was raised under Gaheron's Flame Legion, though her father was an Ash Legion spy. After escaping, she joined the Order of Whispers, which helped her overcome her hatred of humans and eventually led to her becoming Pact Commander. Without a traditional Legion background, Nora is much subtler and magic-reliant than most charr. She's clever, persuasive, and often relies on trickery to meet her goals. She also has a love for dramatics, and after her death at Balthazar's hands left her with lingering burn scars, she has taken to wearing an elaborate mask to cover that side of her face. She combines her inherent mesmer magic with smoke shaman techniques that she learned in her youth to create a potent and unique type of fighting, most comparable to the mirage specialization.
