Kieran clambers up Zeus's fist. He finds a small nook between two rocks and sits down in it. He pulls out a book and reads, trying to get comfortable.

Thalia vs. Ginger: Capture the Flag

Hunters assumingly in tow, Thalia shouldered her longbow and quiver of arrows which appeared as needed, and instead tightened her grip on the her spear(which would be more useful than an arrow for fending off opponents she wasn't necessarily looking to kill), silently making her way, barefoot, along the borders of camp. She stopped, picked a rock from the ground and threw it into the shade cast by cover of trees, checking for any hiding campers. When there was no response, she continued through the trees, speeding up to a fast jog until she found somewhere more interesting. Thalia was on offence in this game, meaning her one and only job was to find the flag and take it. 

Maneuvering lithely through the trees, she reverted back to her love of the impact of dirt beneath her feet, the sharp wind on her skin and through her hair, and the brush of conifer branches across her bare arms as she ran. They were all the things she loved about the hunt, all the things that connected her to nature. They were the things that defined her as a hunter and not just Zeus' daughter... the one he broke the oath by having.

She passed Zeus' fist and then the creek, crossing through the waters so she'd be difficult to track, and finally found traces of life. They were simple things, like the rustling of branches or the intangible sound or shallow breath entwined with the sound of the wind. Demigod sound. The blue team's flag was nowhere near here, so it could only be the reds. And, if she was lucky, she might've stumbled right upon their hiding place... or she could've just found their offence.

Both choices warranted a closer look, so she crept closer, making sure to remain hidden through the trees. When the noises became more pronounced, Thalia stuck her head out from behind the tree and saw, not the flag, but a member of the opposite team at least. Ginger, she thought her name was.
