where is able now.
Last anyone who knows who clone troopers Able (Able/BL/CT-1707) is in the legends he ended up meeting a rather horribly sad fate getting turned into a literal mindless monster known as a rakghoul and left with other storm troopers or unlucky rebels all turned by Celeste Morne who bore the sith artifact muur talisman after he went to protect the Skywalker twins from her. later after she left with the army of rakghoul.
where are they now and I get the some idk how many see able dead, I truly don't think so..wiki be damned and if he truly is alive I honestly wonder if he can be saved along with others who went fully. I know I think you can stop the transformation but idk about when its complete..idk that may be the Rakghoul disease but regardless Able is a good man and to know maybe a sliver or at all he's out there..whatever's left if anything at all is trapped inside a curse by a necklace created by a crazy sith.

I'm gonna blow your guys' minds a bit.
So I've asked if folks knew Denal, and turns out, a lot people did remember Denal, the early TCWs sergeant under Captain Rex.
...
Now, do you know who Able is?
Tumblr media
(Image taken from Wookieepedia)
This is CT-1707 "Able", a comic-verse clone trooper who missed Order 66 entirely, by being stranded on the planetoid "Lubang Minor", for 20 odd years.
Only to be rediscovered by the Rebellion on accident, as Able had mistaken Stormtroopers for clones.
He joined the Rebellion, when Luke Skywalker introduced himself as "Jedi General Skywalker"... yeah, Able was out of it that long; he full on started following Luke.
So if you want ever wanted to speculate on who would've been Luke's Clone Commander / Captain--well, here he is, Able.
( Unfortunately, Able got attacked by rakghouls and became one. He's technically the only other surviving "clone" if we count Kix... but uh, being a perma-werealien probably puts a damper on the reunion).
CT-1707 was under command of Shaak-Ti during the lore Clone Wars...
... But personally, I like to combine him with another clone character...
Tumblr media
( Image taken from Wookieepedia)
Meet CT-472 "Able", who was a the battle of Muunilinst (the first campaign of the Clone Wars, but only depicted in 2003 TCWshow).
( The Muunilinst 10 were led by Fordo-77, one of the AlphaGen, and fought alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi)
Because of the similarities in names, I like to combine the two into one full character. THe number discrepency doesn't mean much, because I'm pretty certain that all clone troopers have a much larger number sequence anyway but Identify as the smaller or significant group for ease of identification. ( And Echo has two numbers too )
Meaning he would be Able-472-1707, or maybe Able-1707-472.
If I were to bring Able into the Clone Wars (2007) based on information provided, I'd say that he would've been a 212th Clone Trooper, and one of the few that's been around since the beginning. But he (akin to Gregor) would've been accidentally stranded whilst on-mission under Shaak-Ti.
Damn 212th, stop losing your troopers.

Lobos 1707’s Limited Edition Añejo Tequila
Tumblr media
Due to popular demand, Lobos 1707 Tequila & Mezcal has officially announced the additional availability of their Limited Edition Añejo tequila. Only available for a limited time with a small quantity at retailers and restaurants, this ultra-premium Lobos 1707 Limited Edition Añejo has increased availability, expanding to 28 U.S. markets with around 9,000 bottles total.
The Lobos 1707 Limited Edition Añejo first made its appearance this year at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition in April where it was awarded a gold medal for its balanced flavor and smooth finish in the agave category. Then in June 2023, the Añejo became available to the public in limited markets and has since won two additional awards, gold at the New York World Spirits Competition and 91 points total at the Chilled 100 Spirits Awards.
"Our team at Lobos 1707 is incredibly thankful for all of those who supported our debut of the newest member of the Lobos wolfpack, helping to elevate your day and night," said Diego Osorio, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Lobos1707 Tequila & Mezcal. "We are thrilled to bring back the Lobos 1707 Limited Edition Añejo for those who have yet to experience this award-winning liquid for themselves."
The Lobos 1707 Limited Edition Añejo shares the same award-winning traits as the brand's current lineup of offerings - the Lobos 1707 Joven, Reposado, Extra Añejo and Mezcal Artisanal– which are all uniquely finished in Pedro Ximénez (PX) Sherry wine barrels using the Solera method. With a unique, standout ombre bottle design inspired by different elements of Lobos 1707's Joven and Extra Añejo bottles, this expression presents the Lobos 1707 debossed signature wolf head, hand-sealed in dark blue wax cap. The Lobos 1707 Limited Edition Añejo variant is the perfect pairing for elevated occasions, fine dining experiences and nightlife fun, or any celebration big and small.
Sourced from the finest ingredients, including 100% Blue Weber Agave, the Lobos 1707 Limited Edition Añejo is all-natural and gluten-free, with zero color or flavor additives, same as the rest of the Lobos 1707 portfolio. Aged for 12-18 months in American white oak barrels, then finished in Pedro Ximénez (PX) Sherry wine barrels using the Solera method, this new expression presents a multi-layered flavor profile with notes of walnuts, caramel, and vanilla. Presenting an elevated flavor profile, this superior smooth sipping tequila is lush in flavor and beautifully balanced, best appreciated neat or over ice.
With only 9,000 bottles produced, the Lobos 1707 Limited Edition Añejo will not last long on shelves, as it is the perfect gift or party favor just in time for the holidays! While supplies last.
The Lobos 1707 Limited Edition Añejo 700ml bottle is available for a suggested retail price of $99.99 at major retailers such as Total Wine & More, BevMo, Spec’s Wines Spirits & Foods, Binny’s, Liquor Barn, ABC’s and more in Mass, NY, NJ,MD, DC, GA, FL, IL, TX, NV, CA, OH,MI, SC, IN,WI, AZ, CO, DE, CT, AR, MO, WA, HI, TN, KY and OK.

Behold a comprehensive list of clones with numbers, sorted in different tabs by prefix, number, and name. This includes all clones with numbers from this list and does not include OCs, though you are more than welcome to save a copy and add your OCs in if you, like me, have approximately 38383774742992 of them and want to keep track. You can now just scroll through the list if you want to give your OC a number that isn't used in canon.

Exspaining Spain: regions
Aragon (Aragón/Aragó)
Tumblr media
Aragon is divided into three provinces: Huesca, Teruel, and Zaragoza. The capital city is Zaragoza.
Tumblr media
Architecture
The traditional architecture of the region is Mudéjar style, which is based on technical and decorative elements derived from Islamic arts combined with the Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance styles. In Aragon, Mudéjar architecture adopted the Gothic style.
Tumblr media
Climate
The predominant climate type is the continental Mediterranean one, characterized by warm to hot summers and cold winters. Aragon alternates dry and wet years and has frequent and intense winds. The average temperature throughout the year is 13 °C (55.4 ºF).
Economy
The service and industrial sectors are the backbone of the economy, but agriculture is still relevant around the Ebro River. The most important crops are wheat, barley, rye, fruit, and grapes.
Tumblr media
The main industries are the Opel automotive plant, the mining of iron ore and coal, and electricity production.
Famous people
Alberto Zapater - soccer player
Benedict XIII - pope
Enrique Bunbury - singer
Eva Amaral - singer
Ferdinand II of Aragon - king
Francisco de Goya - painter
Jesús Moncada - writer
Luis Buñuel - filmmaker
Pablo Serrano - sculptor
Ramón J. Sender - writer
Santiago Ramón y Cajal - Nobel Prize in Medicine
Gastronomy
The Aragonese diet is based on lamb, beef, dairy products, ham, olive oil, rainbow trout, salmon, truffles and wild mushrooms, fruit, and wine. Typical dishes include ternasco (roast lamb), albóndigas de bacalao (cod meatballs), jamón de Teruel (Teruel ham), borage, cardoon, trenza de Almudévar (a braided pastry), guirlache (a type of nougat), and frutas de Aragón (candied fruits covered in chocolate).

History
1100 BCE - Urnfield culture
6th century BCE - Vascones, Suessetani, Sedetani, Iacetani, Ilergetes, and Celtiberians
3rd century BCE - Romans
5th century CE - Visigoth conquest
714 - Muslim conquest of Aragon
828 - first mention of the County of Aragon
11-12th centuries - creation of the Crown of Aragon, which also controlled Sicily, Corsica, Sardinia, and Naples
1469 - marriage of Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella of Castile, which created the bases of modern-day Spain
1707 - abolishment of Aragonese fueros (a regional compilation of laws) and political structures
1982 - Statute of Autonomy
Languages
Spanish is the only official language, but Aragonese and Catalan are also spoken in the north and the east, respectively. Aragonese shares many traits with Catalan, such as Romance initial f- being preserved (filium > fillo vs. fill vs. hijo [son]) and Romance groups -lt- and -ct- resulting in -t- (factum > feito vs. fet vs. hecho [done]).
It has some traits that are different from both Catalan and Spanish, like Latin -b- being maintained in past imperfect endings (teneba, teniba vs. tenía vs. tenia) and Latin -ll- being kept as geminate /ll/. Catalan, Occitan, Spanish, and French have all influenced Aragonese vocabulary.
(Latin > Aragonese vs. Catalan vs. Spanish)
Monuments and landmarks
There are four UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Mudéjar Architecture of Aragon, Pyrénées - Mont Perdu (shared with France), Rock Art of the Mediterranean Basin on the Iberian Peninsula (shared with other regions of Spain), and Routes of Santiago de Compostela: Camino Francés and Routes of Northern Spain (shared with France and other regions of Spain).
Other landmarks include the Aljafería Palace (Zaragoza), the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar (Zaragoza), the Lovers of Teruel Mausoleum (Teruel), and the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park (Huesca).

The Mediterranean Diet Isn’t What It Used to Be
Tumblr media
Oct. 4, 2021 — When Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD, some residents of Pompeii, Italy, sought shelter in stone vaults on nearby beaches, but to no avail: The lava flows still took their lives. But molten rock did not erase evidence of how they lived and what they ate. Their bones tell a story of how the Mediterranean diet has changed over time, according to new research.
In a study published in Science Advances, researchers describe using proteins from the bones of 17 of these victims to determine the food sources that nourished the people of Pompeii.
We are what we eat, and our bodies build new material using the protein we take in. Bones are in a constant state of breaking down and building up, and the proteins they contain will reflect what’s in our recent diet. In the recent study, researchers compared features of protein content of the bones to those of fish, land animals, and food plants from the same time period to determine who was eating what at the time.
They found that men ate more fish and women tended to eat more land animal products and locally grown fruits and vegetables. Fish was harder to access and thus more expensive, the authors say, suggesting that the higher social status of the men could explain the gender gap in their diets.
For the modern human, the findings suggest that the Mediterranean diet, often touted as most healthy for us, has changed a bit over the last 2,000 years or so. Residents of the area at the time of the Vesuvius eruption probably ate a lot more fish than the diet includes today, but less in the way of grains.
The study’s approach “also provided dietary data of sufficient precision for comparison with assessments of food supply to modern populations, opening up the possibility of benchmarking ancient diets against contemporary settings where the consequences for health are better understood,” the researchers said.

Small Business Spotlight Series: Best Ice Cream Shops in the NY Metro Area
Sweltering temperatures, heat vapors rising from the black tar streets, wafts of cool air hitting you as you pass open storefronts; the summer heat in the city can wear you down. Yet, there is always one common treat that will serve as Ol Reliable – and that is the cool taste of ice cream. From gelato to sorbet, sundaes to Italian ice, our agents all around NY, NJ and CT have the best recommendations for your next summer treat.
The Lemon Ice King of Corona
52-02 108th St, Corona, NY 11368
When you want some fun, a change of scenery and the perfect cool treat on the dog days of summer, look no further than The Lemon Ice King of Corona, Queens! “This family owned business with a homemade, secret recipe offers 100 flavors of the best Italian ices in all of New York, dare I say the world!” says agent Maryann Johnson. “On a hot summer night, my girlfriends and I would get in the car and drive on the LIE to 108th Street Corona and order not one, but two or three of the most flavorful, homemade, fresh summer flavors, like lemon, coconut, watermelon, mango and so much more!” The Lemon Ice King has been a unique and colorful dessert destination for over 60 years. Stay and enjoy your ice while watching a traditional and competitive Bocce game in Spaghetti Park, or head over to Citi Field and cheer on the NY Mets.
(Recommended by Maryann Johnson of our Upper West Side office)
Milkcraft
1215 Post Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824
“New technology ice cream with lots of novelty makes Milkcraft a Connecticut staple,” says agent Sheila Higgins. The trendy creamery freezes every scoop to order with food grade Liquid Nitrogen, which creates smaller ice crystals when freezing, and results in the smoothest possible ice cream. Their caramelized Hong Kong style waffles are made from scratch to order and their hot Creamee buns are made fresh daily, along with artisan toppings.
(Recommended by Sheila Higgins of our Wilton office)
Emack and Bolio’s
389 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10026
Emack & Bolio’s is so good that The New York Times called it “an ice cream shop with more than a lick of promise” and Good Housekeeping labeled them as “the best ice cream purveyors in the country.” Talk about a seal of approval. According to agents Keith Marder and Olga Bidun of the OK Team, their best flavors include ice cream based Deep Purple Chip, S’Moreo, salted caramel chocolate pretzel, chunk of funk and grasshopper pie as well as “The Original Oreo.” They also have sorbet and low-fat options. “Most flavors have great texture with the addition of Oreos, chips, pretzels, etc. and for some added crunch you can get a gargantuan waffle cone dipped in things like Nutella, Cookie Krisp cereal, sprinkles and Capt’n Crunch,” says the team.
(Recommended by the Olga and Keith Team of our West Side office)
Sugar Hill Creamery
184 Lenox Ave, New York, NY 10026
An indie ice cream shop in Harlem, this family-owned spot offers scoops (including non-dairy varieties) in both familiar and creative flavors.
“They use really high-end ingredients and have funky, savory flavors. In the summer they need to have an employee making ice cream all night long to keep up with summer demand.” – Jeffrey Green of our Harlem office
“Sugar Hill Creamery has an old-fashioned neighborhood feel with an artsy flair from the mural on the wall to the roasted corn and jalapeno flavors. The owners are there scooping and greeting folks at the door!” - Leanne Stella of our Harlem office
Saugatuck Sweets
575 Riverside Ave, Westport, CT 06880
A unique spot located in the beautiful river-front inlet neighborhood of Saugatuck in Westport, Connecticut. Nothing like a moonlit night sky near the waterfront and an awesome ice cream cone creation of your own making,” says agent Sheila Gallo. Saugatuck Sweets is within walking distance from the train and serves as an easy night out of Manhattan.
(Recommended by Sheila Gallo of our Westport office)
Anopoli Ice Cream Parlor and Family Restaurant
6920 3rd Ave Brooklyn NY, 11209
In an age of trendy ice-cream shops dishing up exotic flavors, agent Shira Rosenhaft always loves to visit this tried and true time capsule of a diner and soda fountain that happens to make their own ice cream, too. It’s like stepping back in time - the Kelly-green booths are the perfect place to enjoy an old-fashioned sundae or a root beer float, and much of the place looks unchanged since the early 1900s. The ice-cream flavors are simple - chocolate, vanilla, pistachio - but delicious. And, its central location amongst the hustle and bustle of Third Avenue’s shops and restaurants in Bay Ridge makes it the perfect spot to stop and cool off.
(Recommended by Shira Rosenhaft of our Global Services office)
Ample Hills Creamery
623 Vanderbilt Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11238
Extraordinary ice cream is an understatement when it comes to Halstead favorite, Ample Hills Creamery. At one point in time cows grazed on Brooklyn's lush ample hills. Although the cows are gone, and the grassy hills have made way for rows of brownstones, the pastoral small-town spirit of old Brooklyn lives on at our neighborhood ice cream shops and in the playful, nostalgic flavors we create.
“What makes Ample Hills ice cream special is the mix-ins. My personal favorite is the Pistachio Brittle. They make pistachio brittle (think “peanut brittle”) and put large chunks of it in wonderfully flavored pistachio ice cream. The flavors are creative and unique with fun names and again, those mix-ins!” – Jenet Levy of our Park Avenue office
“The Ample Hills Creamery down on Union Street in Gowanus is a favorite stop.  Located at the corner of Union and Nevins, it stands out as an oasis in the post-industrial landscape. And of course, the Ice Cream is fantastic.” - Lisa Gaytan of our North Slope office
“Flavors change regularly, and they are currently offering Oooy Gooy Butter Cake and PB Wins the Cup among many others - plain and fancy!” - Perri Defino of our Bed-Stuy office
“Best ice cream by far is Ample Hills. Specifically, the vibe of the Vanderbilt Avenue location. Peppermint Patty with hot fudge is to die for. My boys always go for Chocolate Milk and Cookies and my husband is partial to Salted Crack Caramel. The staff is always full of energy, super nice and the cone size is enormous! Gets my vote for best ice cream in NYC!” - Karen Wolfe of our Park Slope office
Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory
1 Water Street Brooklyn, NY 11201
What is better than waterfront ice cream with views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge? “The Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory is one of Brooklyn’s best ice cream shops,” agent Jared Goodloe says. Whether you are taking the ferry after a long day, walking your dog along the pier, or just out on the town Brookly Ice Cream Factory is the perfect stop. “Due to high demand, the line can be a little long but don’t let that stop you. The factory has a vast assortment of flavors and toppings to fit all your desires,” Goodloe says.

Gofer Ice Cream
1020 Boston Post Rd, Darien, CT 06820
Gofer Ice Cream opened in 2004 in the heart of Darien on picturesque main street. People passing by can see families enjoying their unique products like Gofer Lite, Go-Yo, Milk Shakes, Razzles, Gofer Cakes and more. It is a favorite spot for locals to walk or bike into town for a summer treat. The shop features a few small tables inside, but most people prefer to sit out on the patio watching the buzz downtown. They have been so successful that agent Cheryl Williams placed them in a second location in Wilton, CT in 2014 near the Wilton High School, Wilton Deli and adjacent to the football field. You can hear kids across town asking their parents if they can "Go Fer" ice cream tonight!
(Recommended by Cheryl Williams of our Darien office)
UES
1707 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10128
This ice cream shop is like no other (keep reading for the secret info!). The large neon cone awning strikes you from a distance along with the typical line of patrons eagerly awaiting entrance, but nothing is what is seems.  The vibrant and cozy bubble-gum pink shop offers a unique rotating menu of delicious flavors such as banana brownie, ginger and espresso cookie coupled with chocolate chip and M&M cones. Why is everyone dressed to impress for ice cream? Say the magic words and you are transformed to an elegant 1920s prohibition-style speakeasy behind the mystery door serving decadent cocktails at the large bar or tufted banquets outfitted with chandeliers, exposed brick and other classy homages to Upper East Side culture. Contact Rory for the secret password!

Sundaes and Cones
95 E 10th St, New York, NY 10003
“On East 10th St. in the East Village is the best ice cream shop I have ever encountered,” agent Robert Brody says. Though located on a side street, it still attracts a big following. The scoops can be in a cup or cone. “Though a bit pricey, it is worth the extravagance,” explains Brody.
(Recommended by Robert A. Brody of our East Hampton office)
Fro-Yo
43 S Euclid Ave, Montauk, NY 11954
Katie Haggerty’s favorite spot on Euclid street in Montauk is Fro-Yo & Gelato. “It’s right next to the jitney spot and the minute you arrive to Montauk you are welcomed to the best little ice cream spot,” she explains. The days you leave Montauk you grab your treats at Fro-Yo and back to reality, leaving your happy place in Montauk.
(Recommended by Katie Haggerty of our East Hampton office)
Scoop Du Jour
35 Newtown Ln, East Hampton, NY 11937
Snuggled amidst all the beautiful high-end shops and restaurants is Scoop Du Jour, a tiny shop on Newtown Lane and one of Margaret Turner’s favorite ice cream spots. “When you walk in to the narrow shop you feel like you’re back in the 70's with the dim lighting, the old posters and pictures of earlier times in East Hampton and the old rod iron chairs with lumpy cushions. But you’ll delight on the yummy ice cream in over 15 flavors and tons of different toppings,” says Turner. If you don't feel like ice cream, you can order a good old grill cheese sandwich or burger.
(Recommended by Margaret Turner of our East Hampton office)

Bischoff's Confectionary
468 Cedar Ln, Teaneck, NJ 07666
The best ice cream in NJ, and in Sabina L. Feiler-Fluger’s opinion, the entire country, is at Bischoff's Confectionary in Teaneck, NJ. Going to Bischoff's was like winning the lottery when she was a kid. “We would select a flavor and sometimes sit at the bar, or at the booths in the back and the ice cream was always served in old school, metal dishes on top of a small white ceramic plate. They still do that today,” explains Sabina. This place is legendary and exactly what you would imagine a traditional ice cream parlor to look like. It opened in 1934, has been family run through generations. It still maintains relics of a 1950's style parlor with wood paneling, an antique mirror with the logo etched on it, two sides to the shop- one with ice cream in a multitude of flavors scooped out of antique metal freezers, and the other side sells candy- chocolates, hard candy, gummies, even toys. “They have the BEST coffee chip ice cream, and all sorts of flavors- basic and unique, even weekly specials,” says Sabina. They have been written up in many publications as one of the top places to go in NJ for ice cream.

High Blood Pressure at Doctor's Could Signal Danger
Tumblr media
By Serena Gordon
HealthDay Reporter
MONDAY, June 10, 2019 (HealthDay News) — If you dread seeing the doctor and your blood pressure reading always seems to be high at the doctor’s office, a new review says you should take those elevated readings seriously.
The problem is called white-coat hypertension (because of doctors’ traditional white coats) and it may signal an underlying problem.
The research defined white-coat hypertension as elevated readings at the doctor’s office, along with normal blood pressure elsewhere. People who had untreated white-coat hypertension had double the risk of dying from heart disease or stroke compared with people with normal blood pressure.
The odds of having a heart attack or stroke were also about one-third higher for those with white-coat hypertension, according to the new review. Their risk of dying prematurely from any cause was also increased by about a third compared to people with no blood pressure problems.
“People with white-coat hypertension may not be monitored regularly. They may feel like nothing is wrong,” said lead author Dr. Jordana Cohen. She is an assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, in Philadelphia.
Cohen said everyone needs to know their blood pressure outside the doctor’s office. High blood pressure, or hypertension, is a defined as a top reading of at least 130 or a bottom one of 80. The condition affects nearly a third of American adults, the researchers said.
“Know what your blood pressure is, and what your goal is. Learn how to take blood pressure so you get a quality blood pressure reading. I think everyone should have a home monitor, even if their health care provider doesn’t specifically recommend it,” she said.
The study was published June 10 in the Annals of Internal Medicine.
Besides looking at white-coat hypertension, the review also looked at white-coat effect. This is when elevated in-office blood pressure is treated with medication. The concern is that if readings are only elevated in the doctor’s office, high blood pressure drugs might drop pressure too low.
But researchers didn’t find any significant links between white-coat effect and heart disease and strokes, or deaths from heart disease and strokes, or deaths from any cause.
Continued
The review included 27 previously completed studies. Those studies had nearly 26,000 people with white-coat hypertension or white-coat effect, and more than 38,000 with normal blood pressure. The studies went on for between three and 19 years.
Dr. Daichi Shimbo wrote an editorial that appeared in the same issue of the journal. It recommended adding out-of-office blood pressure readings to determine whether someone has white-coat hypertension, or sustained high blood pressure.
“This paper was extremely important. White-coat hypertension is perhaps, not benign,” he said.
“But if you have high office blood pressure, don’t you want to know whether or not the out-of-office blood pressure is high or not? If the out-of-office is high, then it’s sustained hypertension. This systematic review didn’t look at sustained hypertension,” Shimbo said.
And, he said, sustained high blood pressure is the real concern. Shimbo added that the people with white-coat hypertension who had the biggest risks were those who also had other risk factors, such as prior heart disease or chronic kidney disease.
Dr. Traci Marquis-Eydman is an associate professor at Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn. She agreed that the strongest risks appeared to be in people who had white-coat hypertension and other risk factors, such as an older age.
The review calls to mind the approach to diabetes management, she noted. “It’s important to individualize people’s treatment plans,” Marquis-Eydman said.
“This study shows it’s important to monitor blood pressure in more than one setting,” she explained.
All three experts said it’s important that blood pressure is taken properly — both in the office and out.
The American Heart Association advises avoiding caffeine, tobacco products and exercise for a half-hour before taking your blood pressure.
Empty your bladder, then sit quietly for at least five minutes before taking a reading. Sit with your back supported and your feet flat on the floor. Your arm should be supported on a table or other flat surface. Check the instructions on your monitor for proper placement of the cuff.
Cohen noted that your doctor may also order “ambulatory monitoring.” That means you wear a blood pressure cuff that takes measurements throughout the day and night.
