Conflict ! As always, Beau and Caleb both make good points, also Veth, and as always I think I’m on Beau’s side. Veth’s plan of double-crossing the Tomb Takers and getting ahead of them is a good one, but if the Mighty Nein succeed on this, they don’t have an exit plan for when Lucien & co. will catch up…

I’m crying with laughter, Jester tried to feed poor Sprinkle nuts (which isn’t weasel food), and then when Sprinkle consented to taste the bunny pie, Caduceus took the occasion to cast Detect Undead, “just to see”. Considering what this poor animal has survived… fair.

And then the Mighty Nein just openly discussed what they were planing to do with Vess DeRogna’s body, in front of Dagen, having fully forgotten he doesn’t know that Vess is dead

Oh, yeah, poor Dagen, he’s freaking out. This is EXACTLY the right time to use Modify Memory.

Marisha’s reaction, about Essek also being in Eiselcross : “I knew it !!! It was only a matter of time before we ran into people we know !! It’s like going to the mall on a Sunday… You’re going to run into your aunt !” That is weirdly specific and yet true, and I love her.

The combat versus the ice worm was starting great for the Mighty Nein and then they all got STUNNED EXCEPT FOR JESTER. Oh no !

And then Jester, like the Queen she is, just Polymorphed the ice worm into a snow bunny. Again, Laura Bailey wins D&D.

And then pure chaos, because the snow bunny was coming after Fjord - who did NOT reclaim his dignity on this one after being attacked by turtles - and the Star Razor automatically dealing damage turned the bunny into the ice worm once again, which was promptly turned into a turtle, put on its back, and spun around on the ice. I was laughing so much, oh my god. Polymorph, greatest spell ever after Counterspell ?

Gotta be honest, since they were talking about their different options according to a map I couldn’t see, I took the risk and searched it, and found it on Reddit !

there is no funnier way for a barbarian to use their turn in combat than to gently flip a large turtle onto it's back, and we have been blessed to see this happen twice in the m9 campaign
