$H healing advice from lilitu <3

as a girl who cvts often, ensuring our wounds do not become infected and heal properly is important. as if you do not take care, infections can become very dangerous.

and, for some of us, the last thing we want is to have our cvtt!ng exposed to family, friends and others if infections become severe.

˚ ༘♡ ⋆｡˚ so here is some aftercare i often practice: ˚ ༘♡ ⋆｡˚

*disclaimer* i am not a medical professional! however, these are some things that have greatly helped me in never getting infections!

right after cvutt!ng : ̗̀➛ rinse wound with water *make sure not to use anything other than plain water* and dry with a clean towel, paper, or clothing *ensure it is CLEAN*

bandaging cvt w0und : ̗̀➛ medical tape!! (a fave) using medical tape to tighten the cvts together will ensure the w0und is not exposed and will heal into a thinner sc@r. i've found these especially useful for bean cvts.

also, i use 2 main methods for bandaging. the first being large bandaids.

however if it is a significantly large w0und i prefer a gauge and a bandage which I can usually buy from a grocery store or a pharmacy.

healing process : ̗̀➛ I prefer to change the gauge/ bandage every few days especially if it is getting wet in baths and showers. when the hemostasis stage has completed, i clean my cvts using a saline spray to very gently disinfect it.

sc@rs : ̗̀➛ I understand some angels may prefer to keep their sc@rs however I prefer to try and heal/ fade them. bio oil and silicone sc@r sheets have been absolute game changes and have made my sc@rs barely visible. even changing back to my normal skin-tone colour.
