I’ve been studying the casual jumpsuit uniform the officers normally wear very closely for cosplay purposes, and I noticed something interesting…

In nearly all instances, everyone’s cuffs are shown to have three zig-zag seams running horizontally through them.

However!!

Okonogi is consistently depicted as having only 2 zigzags showing on her cuffs, which tells me that

OKONOGI HAS TO ROLL HER SLEEVES UNDER / HEM THEM TO FIT PROPERLY!!!

Honestly an impressive bit of detail from the animation team.

Ok, so like, I sorta accidentally predicted the future on Jinx’s new haircut lol

Long story short, a long time ago I had a Jinx wig that got absolutely ruined, so I cut off the braids and kept the wig thinking it could be useful someday down the road and then got a new Jinx wig with the braids that I’ve been taking far better care of.

And uh, I think it’s going to come into use now lol Because it actually looks similar to her new haircut. All I need to do is fix up the bangs a little and dye a section of it and BAM I have a wig for a new Jinx cosplay!!

So, uh, anyone got any tips on how to dye a wig??? Do I use fabric dye? Or should I just get clip ons and add it to the wig??

Also I guess I just put this outfit into my cosplans lol Not sure how much I’ll get done of it next year tho because 1) don’t have much money to spare 2) I have a Toy Bonnie cosplay I wanted to do for the FNAF 2 movie that I might put more priority to. But I definitely do want to try out making more Jinx outfits, ‘cause I do love cosplaying her!

i went to an antique shop and got gifted some lace. so now i have stuff for my vessel cosplay!!!

i just need to buy the base stuff and get the mask made and then we will be ready for the rein fair in september :3

Quicksilver for NYCC??! (sunday)

i know it’s irregular for me to post something like this (also face reveal lol) but i just wanted to share with y’all my QS cosplay :D

i was tied on being flash or quicksilver- i knew i had to be a speedster- so i chose the latter since he had a more comfortable outfit :)

(PS: i have barely any knowledge about x-men at all… i think i just did this because i like evan peters [i actually need to rewatch the movies tho because it’s been that long] but i have filled myself with my fair-share of peter content)

We did it y'all! After having her on my list for years, Bounty Hunter Asajj Ventress is done. Saturday of Wondercon was lovely, meeting other fans, talking theories and lore.

I ordered myself a replacement hanfu piece as a Christmas gift (I ordered one for my birthday and it came wrong, and then the shop ghosted me)

The replacement order was also wrong (different shop!) They apologized and are supposed to send me the correct one. Fingers crossed it gets here and is correct!

This is the order they sent me. Still a nice color, just not what I wanted. I think the colors fit Kazuha though, so I'll probably cosplay him in this hanfu :)

Wanted to try it on and take test photos before I restyle Kazuha's wig.
