November 16, 2018 (PPG 20th Anniversary Kickoff):
Kid: We're about to return to more of tonight's new Ed, Edd n Eddy, but first...
(TRANSITION)
*Fridays airs the music video to The Apples in Stereo's "Signal in the Sky", featuring the Powerpuff Girls. Click here to see the music video yourself!*
(TRANSITION)
Kid: We take you now to more of tonight's new episode of Ed, Edd n Eddy, right here on Fridays.
Buttercup (in the background): I don't get it, since when did that show suddenly come back??
================================================
Today (November 18, 2023) marks the 25th anniversary of Cartoon Network's "The Powerpuff Girls"!
To celebrate this occasion, I thought it was right to acknowledge something special that happened to celebrate the show's 20th anniversary.
On November 16, 2018, Fridays celebrated the occasion by having the trio host the show (in the hopes that no crime happened while they were out of Townsville).
Meanwhile, Tommy and Tara are in Paris, interviewing the cast of "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald".
Q: Why was the celebration called a "kickoff"?
A: This Fridays show kicked of what we named the "Powerpuff Girls 20th Birthday Weekend Marathon", since the actual anniversary wasn't until Sunday.
Q: What did you air this week?
A: We were told by the higher ups not to change the lineup. I think they wanted us to save the PPG episodes for the marathon on Saturday and Sunday.
Q: Well, then what did you change?
A: Obviously, I mentioned a few things already (interviewing, the PPG hosting, etc.), but the set was also decorated.
Q: Did you ever talk about how terrible the reboot is?
A: Nah, we thought it was best to simply not acknowledge the reboot at all.

May 25, 2018 (Half-O-Ween 2018):
*a coffin is shown in front of a fake graveyard*
*the coffin's door slowly opens, and I.M. Weasel (dressed as a vampire) rises up from the casket*
I.M. Weasel (in a slightly harrowing tone): Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! I am Count Weasel, and welcome to Fridays. It is Friday, May 25th, and that means it's almost time for Half-O-Ween!
*Weasel laughs evilly as the headlights off camera flicker to resemble lightning, while lightning sound effects play in the background*
I.M. Weasel (speaks in his normal voice again): *looks back at the camera* Oh, but don't worry about Tommy and Tara, they're taking the week off. Not to worry, everyone, we'll be able to make do without them, at least for this week.
*Weasel steps out of the coffin*
I.M. Weasel: As you may already know if you saw last week's show, we're preparing a little game show for you viewers at home tonight. We have teamed up with some animators and copyright owners from Burbank, CA to give some lucky winners a chance to go trick-or-treating early this year.
*footage of this game show appears onscreen*
I.M. Weasel: Every half hour tonight, one of you lucky viewers will get a chance to go on a 40-second scavenger hunt. There will be 6 different house, but choose carefully! Some of them are filled with prizes for you to keep as your own, but others will be home to the scariest creatures you'll have ever laid your eyes upon!!!
*cuts back to Weasel as he laughs again*
I.M. Weasel: But not yet, of course. We've still got a night of Fridays to enjoy. But stay by your phones as you watch tonight's shows. Those who submitted texts and/or post cards and memorized our caller ID must be dying to get the opportunity of a lifetime. For now, however, let us commence with tonight's brand new Stick Friends, because we can't actually play the game until the episode is over...
..........
I.M. Weasel (drops character): Also because this isn't the costume I'm going to wear. I-I'm going to be wearing something else after the break...
================================================
While Fridays did do something Half-O-Ween related for May 31, 2019, I was more interested in including a segment from this night instead because of how interesting it is.
Here's what happened, as part of a collaboration between Great 5 Productions and Nickelodeon, we were given permission to utilize one of their Halloween events from the 90s for ourselves.
In this case, we were allowed to utilize the format of a call-in trick-or-treating game show, where players had 40-seconds to search for prizes (it's explained at 0:25 in this video).
Back when it was first created, the event was part of a yearly Halloween event/contest that Nickelodeon held known as "Nick or Treat".
We decided to remove every mention of Nickelodeon's name (including the "Nick or Treat" name) from the packaging for 2 reasons:
Some of the higher-ups were worried that the inclusion of the Nickelodeon name would be a bit too distracting on Cartoon Network.
Well... the original name sounds like... yeah, you know...
Now, how exactly did we do this call-in thing without the trademark... name...?
Well, what we did was give out a phone number and caller ID (I believe it was "CN Fridays" or something) on May 18, 2018 for people to write down and memorize. Viewers who texted "Half-O-Ween" to that phone number were asked to label that number with the ID that was featured on Fridays. The viewers would know that they won based on what the caller ID was.
Oh yeah, and we managed to get a hold of the original game show's music, as well as a non-music version to prevent musical confusion with sound effects during the game. That was weird because when TeenNick's "The Splat" brought back the game show thing for Halloween 2015 (a few years before this), they apparently didn't have the original track with them. Not sure what happened there.
For this Fridays show, 2 games were played every hour of the block. Each hour was hosted by different Cartoon Cartoon characters (while Tommy and Tara had the week off), each wearing costumes that were similar to (or exactly) the ones they wore during the CCF Halloween Party.
I can't quite remember all of the hosts, or what order they went in, but I believe Dexter (as Courage) and Blossom (as Eddy) were 2 of the ones who appeared (as well as Weasel of course).
As for why the Halloween CNF logo is here despite being May? Well, since we forgot to use the logo in October 2017, we decided to make up for that by using it here.
Alright, that's all I got for you guys. Happy Half-O-Ween, everybody!

March 1, 2019 (Mixels 5-Year Anniversary):
Flain & Teslo Mix (controlled by Flain): Alright, every-Mixel! How's everyone likin' the show so far?
Audience: *cheers and applauds*
Chao: That's great, 'cause we're only just getting started!
Flain & Teslo Mix: Yep, it's time for tonight's Fridays' Orbit Code.
Chao: That's the code you can enter in the "Orbit" section on "cnfansite.com" to get special prizes, like sneak peeks at new episodes, as well as other digital memorabilia!
Flain & Teslo Mix: And... could we put tonight's code on the big screen, please?
*The Orbit Code is revealed to be "CUBIT"*
Audience: *applauds at the reveal*
Flain & Teslo Mix: "CUBIT"! There's the code, everyone!
Chao: Once again, make sure you head to the "Cartoon Orbit" section of "cnfansite.com" by the end of tonight to receive this week prizes!
Flain & Teslo Mix: We'll be back with more of our Mixels 5-Year Anniversary Celebration after this!
Audience: *applauds again*
================================================
(Hey guys, IRL Davis here)
(On March 1, 2019, to celebrate the 5-Year anniversary of Mixels' official Series 1 release, Fridays presented a night full of Mixels specials, including alterations of old ones, and the original Mixels shorts being played throughout)
(Naturally, with today being the 10-Year anniversary of their release, I decided to draw a picture from that particular show)
(Also, if you're wondering why this mix of Flain and Teslo is hosting alongside Chao instead of me, it's because I'd imagine myself being too chicken to go on a big stage myself)
(BTW, yes, this was meant to be our own take on CCF's "Orbit Codes". Sure, the prize isn't the same as 'exclusive ctoons", but none of the Mixels really knew how that worked at the time, so this is what we came up with instead)
(Feel free to ask any questions you may have about this particular Fridays show)
UPDATE: (Oh yeah, almost forgot. Since this was one of Chao's first Fridays shows as a host, she was a bit nervous too. As such, we decided to get some help from Jamzy (who was much more familiar with crowd interaction))
(What we did was use some supernatural technology that another Mixel made to turn Jamzy into a ghost, then she took control of Chao so that she could get through the show. This explains why Chao's inflections and way of talking sounded similar to Jamzy's during the show)

(Sorry this is late, I completely forgot about the occasion until last night)
January 4, 2019 (EEnE 20th Anniversary):
Tommy: Hey, Eddy? I was wondering.
Eddy: Yeah?
Tommy: How are you able to fit those huge jawbreakers in your mouth?
Tara: Yeah, I have no idea how I'm supposed to eat these when they're absolutely ginormous.
Eddy: Oh, I'm sure you'll figure something out eventually. Perhaps you could put those brains of yours to use or something.
Tara: Er... was that meant to be an insult or...?
Eddy: Oh, never mind. *walks off-camera*
(TRANSITION)
Kid: Time now for more of the Ed, Edd n Eddy "Best of" marathon, right here on Fridays!
================================================
With Ed, Edd n Eddy's 25th anniversary being yesterday, it only made sense to draw a Fridays segment from the 20th anniversary.
To celebrate, Fridays' lineup consisted almost entirely of what was voted as the best EEnE episodes (with a new Mixels at 8pm for contractual reasons).
UPDATE: Crap, I completely forgot to mention that this show was pre-recorded, since Tara had to be in Sacramento, CA for a convention that weekend.

October 25, 2019 (pre-recorded on October 4, 2019):
Kid (wearing a pirate costume): We're about to watch another episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog, but first...
(TRANSITION)
Chao: Hey Davis, I think it's about time we do some traveling.
Davis (in Scorpi's body): Oh, oh, can I pick one this time??
Chao: *sigh* As long as it's not another Mixels promo.
Davis: Don't worry, it isn't. Since it's October, I wanted to show off a CN spot that I think is really spooky. One that I think about every Halloween.
Chao: Ooooh, do you mean-
Davis: I certainly do.
Chao: Well, go right ahead.
Davis: Ladies and gentlemen, let's take a trip to Spain with a special Halloween edition of Cartoon Network Around the World!!!
Audience: *applause*
*a 2008 CN Halloween commercial from Spain plays, click here to check it out yourself*
Audience: *applauds once the spot ends*
Chao: Man, you sure do love that commercial from Spain, huh?
Davis: Chao, I've been a fan of it since I was like... 7 or something.
Chao: I see.
(TRANSITION)
Kid (wearing a dinosaur costume): We take you now to another episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog and "King Ramses' Curse", right here on Fridays.
================================================
For October 2019, each Friday night consisted almost entirely of episodes of "The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy" and "Courage the Cowardly Dog".
I say "almost entirely" because we still had to premiere new episodes each week, specifically of Mixels (due to contract mandates).
However, to not make it seem as if we were putting Mixels on a pedestal with this (since the contract stuff was kept secret), we decided to also keep airing new episodes of Wii Sports Resort each week.
11/6 UPDATE: We didn't just assume that people would be upset about us only airing new Mixels episodes each week, this had actually happened prior to October 2019. On January 4, 2019, Fridays celebrated Ed, Edd n Eddy's 20th anniversary with the most popular episodes of the show. However, we still needed to air a new Mixels because of the contract stuff. Naturally, Fridays was highly criticized for, as you may have guessed, putting Mixels on a pedestal over the other shows. Once again, the contract mandates weren't known by anyone at the time (except for the people who worked on Fridays).
One more thing, the reason this was pre-recorded was because Chao (the Mixel with brown hair that I didn't create) wanted to include a Halloween edition of our "Around the World" segment for the last Friday before Halloween.
However, because we were hosting the latter 3 weeks of the month in a haunted house set (which was identical to the Halloween 2005 set), we decided to pre-record the segment on October 4, as that was the only October 2019 show where we hosted on our normal Fridays set.
There also another segment from October 25, 2019 that I'll be sharing with you. That'll come out tomorrow.

October 25, 2019 (again):
Kid (dressed as Harley Quinn): We're about to return to more of "Ed, Edd n Eddy's Costume Tragedy", but first...
(TRANSITION)
(Tara is shown telling a scary story with a flashlight and book, while the studio's lights are dimmed)
Tara (dressed as Numbuh 362): And it was then, that the table somehow started to move! Even though no one had ever decided to give the heavy table any wheels. The man stood there in horror as the haunted table started levitating up off the ground. And before he knew it-
Tommy (dressed as Numbuh 1, and hiding in a fake bush): The table did a jig and then broke itself in half!!
Audience: *groaning and mumbling about how lame the story was*
Tara: Tommy, what are you doing?!
Tommy: What? I'm trying to add to your story!
Tara: By jumping out from a bush and spouting nonsense?
Tommy: It's not nonsense! I'm surprising them with a sudden ending!
Tara: Well, it's certainly sudden... and abrupt... and not scary at all...! Listen, either leave me alone and let me tell a scary story, or I'm out of here.
Tommy: You're leaving?
Tara: Well, I will if you want to try to tell a scary story yourself.
Tommy: *sigh* Fine, I'll just go bob for apples... again.
Tara: Thank you...
Tommy (as he walks away): Hey, Vernon! Could you make some space for me, please?
(TRANSITION)
Rubersh (dressed as a trash can): Now back to more of "Ed, Edd n Eddy's Costume Tragedy", right here on Fridays.
================================================
So, there's quite a bit going on here, so let's get through this.
Yes, I know I already posted a segment from this show, but I felt that I couldn't just leave it at one segment. The segments for this night were rather packed (or at least more packed than the Halloween shows in 2017 and 2018). Plus, I wanted an excuse to show how the main Fridays studio looked during October 2019.
About the Harley Quinn costume, it turned out that nearly all of the girls in the audience dressed as Harley Quinn for some reason. Nothing wrong about it, just kinda weird.
Tara wasn't wearing a wig. She actually dyed her hair yellow for the costume. This is why her hair would remain yellow for the rest of the year.
Now, since this is my last post of the month, does that mean that I'm finished with Fridays art? Not at all; I'll still be posting Fridays art, just not as much as I did this month. I gotta get to preparing for my 20th birthday this Saturday.
But for now, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Since today is National Farmers Day, it only makes sense to post this.
September 26, 2014 (On the Farm):
Tara: Hey uh... is it just me, or does something feel like it's missing?
Tommy: Yeah, what happened to all the chickens?
Eddy (one of the background characters): Hold on... th-the chickens?
Tara: Yeah, I don't see them anywhere.
Eddy: *sigh* Alright, just a second... Ed!
Ed: Yes, Eddy?
Eddy: Did you do something with the chickens?
Ed: Oh yes! I set them free, Eddy!
Eddy: ... YOU DID WHAT?!?!
Ed: But Eddy! I had to save the poor chickens from their demise at the hands of the evil barn monster!
Eddy: Oh, really? You saved them from an "evil barn monster", huh? Well I hope you're ready to save yourself from me when I FREAKIN' PUMMEL YOU!!!
Ed: AAAAH! RUN AWAY!
Eddy: GET BACK HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tara: Er, we should probably just get to tonight new "PBS Kids GO!" and wait this out...
Tommy: Yeah...
Ed: EDDY, THINK OF THE CHICKENS!!!
================================================
I'm pretty sure Ed wasn't invited back to be a part of anymore Fridays shows.
For context, in honor of National Farm Safety and Health Week, this Fridays show was filmed at a farm. Most of the segments were pre-recorded, aside from the last few when it got really dark.
If you're wondering, new episodes of "PBS Kids GO!" would usually air at 8:30pm and 11:30pm, mainly so it didn't seem like I was putting my favorite shows in better time-slots.
Also, I think Ed meant to say "think of the children", not "chickens".

On this day, 20 years ago, Cartoon Network broadcasted the very 1st episode of Cartoon Network's Fridays.
A block that was very controversial for the fact that it depicted segments with live action hosts in-between each show.
The block was hosted by Tommy Snider and Nzinga Blake, until she decided to leave and was replaced by Tara Sands.
While I never watched Fridays when it aired, it still holds a special place in my heart. Why, you ask?
Well, that's because in September 2014, a company called Great-5 Productions (which is associated with CN (but also not actually real)) brought Fridays back in the form of live-streaming online, as well as filming the show in the cartoon world instead of the real world. This era of Fridays lasted a long time, from September 12, 2014 - February 5, 2021.
And all this month, I'll be posting different moments from throughout the block's existence (both eras). Now, there isn't a set schedule for when these will come up (with a few exceptions), because I'm too busy with college to set up a full schedule for this.
I'll go into the revival era more throughout this month, but here's what you need to know for now.
With Fridays coming back, it was decided that the show would be filmed live, but still scripted. Tommy and Tara were also brought back for the block's return. Not only that, but in the beginning, they also brought on different CN characters to be in the background.
This included me, since I was a part of "PBS Kids GO!" (the series, not the PBS block), which aired on Fridays. Eventually, I became a co-host myself. However, let's just say that I sometimes acted a bit annoying and unprofessional when I started out (especially since I was only 10 when this era of Fridays began).
Now, you're probably wondering, "Davis, why didn't you guys ask Nzinga to come on to co-host?"
...........
(No seriously, why didn't I ever decide to bring her on?)
(I don't think I ever had an explanation. I mean, sure, she did have a cameo at some point in either 2017 or 2018, but-...)
(Oh wait, sorry, back to the history)
In the beginning, the lineup was filled with either reruns of old CN shows that were strangely listed as new episodes (i.e. Foster's and Billy & Mandy) or shows that were produced by Great-5 Productions (i.e. PBS Kids GO! and Wii Sports Resort when it premiered in November (the show was adapted from the Nintendo game of the same name)).
Another thing that occurred (at least in the 1st few years) was that the block would sometimes just not be broadcasted. This would happen for a number of reasons (scheduling issues, the cast being busy with other stuff, etc.). Fortunately, this stopped by the summer of 2018.
Okay, so about the picture above. The designs I've used for Tommy and Tara are based on how they looked around the time of the "Yes!" era, including Tara with her slightly-blonde hair, and Tommy with his Black hair and sideburns. These designs would also be used for the livestreams, starting with our January 3, 2020 show.
They're certainly more detailed than my very 1st designs for them (which they had from Sep. 2014 - early 2019). Tommy's hair was just a bunch of lines pointed upwards, and Tara's wasn't much different.
One more thing, if you're wondering why the Fridays logo looks slightly off, that's because it's an AI upscaling of the logo. I couldn't find a high quality picture of the CNF logo anywhere, not even a recreation of it.
Stay tuned this month for more Fridays content!
Okay, now go away, I'm busy studying for a test.

July 5, 2019 (Independence Day Celebration):
Tommy: Y'know, I think Bloo from Foster's would really like these decorations.
Tara: Yeah, wish we could've invited him.
Tommy: Wait, why couldn't we?
Tara: It's another one of those stupid Fridays rules that Davis made when he was 11. *pulls out a book called "The Book of Fridays Rules"*
Tommy: Rules?
Tara: Yeah, hold on... *finds the page she's looking for* Here, "Rule #24a: When a series ends on Fridays, the characters from that show are to not be invited to any filming sessions afterwards."
Tommy: Not invited back?
Tara: Yeah, that's why Bloo hasn't shown up to the studio in nearly 4 years.
Tommy: Is that part of the rule that says 'any shows that ends on Fridays will not air on Fridays again afterwards'?
Tara: Yep.
Tommy: *sigh* Great... why did we allow an 11-year old child to set up rules for this whole show?
Tara: We didn't, he made them up on his own merits and forced us all to follow them.
Tommy: Well that's just wonderful...
(TRANSITION)
Kid: Now here's more of tonight's brand new PBS Kids GO!, right here on Fridays.
================================================
Don't worry, I threw that rule in the bin once October 2019 came around.

June 7, 2019 (Vernon and Rat's return):
Long Haul: And now for the return of some old Fridays friends, it's Vernon and Rat.
*Vernon and Rat are shown on top of the Fridays set*
Vernon: Hey, Long Haul!
Rat: Hey, how's it goin'?
Long Haul: It's going great! How was your time off?
Rat: Oh, we were just doin' what we normally do?
Vernon: Y'Know, going through dumpsters? That kind of stuff.
Rat: Oh, and we also went to the beach recently.
Long Haul: Yeah, I was there too...
Vernon: We certainly had fun there.
Long Haul: Well, I didn't...
Rat (to Vernon): He's uh... Is he still upset about the beach ball thing?
Vernon: *sigh* Yeah.
(TRANSITION)
Blip: Now back to tonight's brand new Ed, Edd n Eddy Future, right here on Fridays!
================================================
There wasn't much else going on this week aside from the return of Vernon and Rat.
Also, the beach thing is referring to this scene from May 24, 2019.

(Yeah, sorry I rushed this one. I wasn't too keen on how this looked)
May 24, 2019 (Summer 2019 Kickoff):
Hotstuff: We're about to get to tonight's brand new Ed, Edd n Eddy Future, but first...
(TRANSITION)
Voiceover: Alrightly everybody, we're gonna put the hammer down. It's the return of Long Haul: The Puppet Trucker.
Audience (specifically the audience in the Mixels studio): Hey, Long Haul! What'cha haulin'?
Long Haul: Today, kids, in honor of the start of summer, I'm haulin' these here bouncy beach balls!
Audience: What?
Long Haul: You bet! Me and Bertha pumped 'em up ourselves! And as the name suggests, these are great for playin' at the beach. Anyone of you goin' to the beach this summer?
*some of them raise their hands*
Long Haul: I see, well this video here is for you! Roll it!
*a video of Long Haul being green-screened into footage of the beach plays*
Long Haul (holding a beach ball): Okay, Vernon, all ya gotta do is catch it, alright?
Vernon (off-screen): Yeah, okay.
*he throws the ball off-camera*
Long Haul: Okay, now just throw it back!
Vernon (off-screen): Got it!
*Vernon throws it too hard and knocks Long Haul to the ground*
Long Haul (pretending to speak in a pained voice): Now back to me...
*end of video*
Audience: Ouch...
Long Haul: Yeah, being a puppet combined with how much force someone throws a beach ball at you can hurt. But yeah, that's all I got for you. Bye, kids!
Audience: Bye, Long Haul!
Long Haul: Be good, kids, or I'll come over there and throw a beach ball at you with as much force as I can! Hrmmmmmm, yeah yeah!!!
(TRANSITION):
*Tommy, Tara, and the audience are shown dancing to celebrate the beginning of summer*
Tommy: Hey, Tara!
Tara: Yeah?!
Tommy: Do ya think it's about time to start the barbecue?!
Tara: Good idea! *turns to the camera* You guys check out this brand new Ed, Edd n Eddy Future while we go start the barbecue!
================================================
Yep, this Fridays show marked the return of Long Haul, who had been absent from our live streams until that point. We also teased the return of Vernon the Rat, but he (as well as Rat the Cockroach) would not properly return until June 7th.
This day also marked the day that I got into Homestar Runner for the first time. Just some fun little trivia, that's all.

On May 17, 2019, Fridays celebrated the 10th anniversary of Minecraft. However, I couldn't really decide on which segment to show, so I went with another Fridays episode instead.
May 8, 2020 (World Donkey Day):
*Tommy and Tara are shown at home recording dialogue as the footage plays*
Tommy: How do you want me to do this again?
Tara: Well, I've set up that box down there for you to stand on. And uh... over there is some kind of optical illusion to also help you.
Tommy: Okay um... here goes nothin'...
*Tommy has difficulty standing on his two feet (aka his hooves) like Tara is*
Tara: Yeah, now you're starting to get it!
Tommy: N-Not really.
Tara: Come on, just do it the way I did.
Tommy: Well, I didn't see how you did. Do you want me to put both my feet on the box?
*graphic appears onscreen stating that Mixels Watch was next*
Tara: Yeah, then just try to stand up as straight as you can and... you'll likely hear them readjust.
Tommy: Wait, hear them what??
================================================
Okay, just a few things:
Obviously, Tommy and Tara are not actually donkeys. The footage was animated over, while Tommy and Tara recorded their dialogue from home (due to Covid-19).
Please refrain from asking any questions you might have about what "Mixels Watch" is supposed to be. I am waiting until later this year to answer them.

May 10, 2019 (Mother's Day):
Tara: Yeah, I guess everything's going fine over here in Times Square.
Tommy's "Mother": Oh thank goodness, and how is my son doing?
Tara: Oh he's uh...
Tommy: *throwing fake Poké Balls around* Come on, get in the Poké Ball already!!
Tara: He's... good.
Tommy's "Mother": Splendid!
Tara: So, how are you doing in the studio, Mrs. Snider?
Tommy's "Mother": Oh, it is great! A bit lonely, however. Didn't you kids used to have some friends around here.
Tara: Yeah, we're... planning to invite them back soon.
Tommy's "Mother": I'd say to just do it right now! It's almost Summer, after all.
Tara: I guess you have a point. Okay, talk to you soon.
Tommy's "Mother": See you later! *hangs up*
(TRANSITION)
Tentro: We take you now to tonight's brand new Mixels, right here on Fridays.
================================================
Just so you know, only the Times Square footage was pre-recorded, not the footage in the studio with Tommy and Tara pretending to be mothers.
Also, just in case you were wondering what that thing is on Tommy's shirt, it's a jackalope.

May 3, 2019 (Star Wars Day):
Tommy (holding a fake light saber and dressed as a Jedi): Alright, stand back, everybody! Watch as I cut this slab of metal in half with ease.
*He swings his light saber at the metal, but it doesn't do anything*
Tommy: Ugh, come on! I thought these were supposed to cut through anything. Did I swing at it wrong?
Tara: Tommy, you're using a toy.
Tommy: So?
Tara: So, it's not a real light saber!
Tommy: Sure... I mean, that's totally what the store clerk said.
Tara: That IS what he said, Tommy!
Tommy: SURE...
(TRANSITION)
Blip (dressed as a stormtrooper): We take you now to the rest of the Star Wars: Clone Wars micro series, right here on Fridays!
================================================
Hey, everyone! I'm finished with my classes for the semester! Now I can finally get back to posting art!
Anyway, this week celebrated Star Wars Day (AKA May the 4th), with Fridays airing:
Limited commercials.
A new Mixels (because of contract mandates).
All 25 chapters of the 2003 Clone Wars micro series (split in 2 in order to make way for Mixels).
Highlights from the Clone Wars panel at SW Celebration 2019.
The first 2 episodes of the CGI Clone Wars series (which nearly got us sued by Disney).
Yeah, that last one was my fault. I guess 15-year-old me was too stupid to understand why that wasn't a good idea.
Also, the reason that this show (or at least the segments in the main studio) was pre-recorded is because Tommy and Tara were chatting with the cast of Pokémon: Detective Pikachu in Times Square on May 3rd, and they didn't have time to film the Star Wars Day segments live.

April 5, 2019 (National Superhero Unmask Day):
Tara ('Lectric Lass): Hey uh... Has anyone seen Tommy? I haven't seen him since we started the show.
Tommy: Oh, pardon me, mam'. Tommy is in... uh... in the restroom.
Tara ('Lectric Lass): Tommy, that's... that's not-
Tommy: My name's not Tommy, 'Lectric Lass. You can call me... *dramatic zoom* The Beard Hunter!
Tara ('Lectric Lass): The... what?
Tommy (Beard Hunter): Yes, the one and only!
Tara ('Lectric Lass): Okay, this is ridiculous. Tommy, you don't even have a beard, or a mask... Do you even know what 'National Superhero Unmask Day' is?
Tommy (Beard Hunter): I said my name isn't-
Tara ('Lectric Lass): And what are super powers, anyway?
Tommy (Beard Hunter): First of all, my real name, which I'd prefer not to say but whatever, is Earnest.
Tara ('Lectric Lass): Okay well, what are your super powers, Earnest?
Tommy (Beard Hunter): Second of all, my lack of beard is because of a hormone disorder.
Tara ('Lectric Lass): Okay, but-
Tommy (Beard Hunter): And thirdly, my powers are... um... actually, could we put an explanation onscreen please?
(A snippet from a then-upcoming episode of the DC series "Doom Patrol" plays to show what his powers are. The snippet in question is from some where in this video)
Tara ('Lectric Lass): *looking grossed out* You eat the... Tommy, that's disgusting!
Tommy (Beard Hunter): *ahem*
Tara ('Lectric Lass): *sigh* 'Earnest, that's disgusting...'
Tommy (Beard Hunter): That's better.
Tara ('Lectric Lass): I'm just gonna... go somewhere else...
(TRANSITION)
Kid: Time now for tonight's brand new Ed, Edd n Eddy Future, right here on Fridays.
================================================
Yes, we actually used this particular show to promote DC's Doom Patrol.
Of course, there were some Mixels shenanigans this week, too. It involved me and someone else using masks to look completely unrecognizable to the audience in our studio.
The best part was revealing that the female superhero was Jamzy (leader of the Mixies), despite the belief that it was Chao (since it sounded almost exactly like her), even though Chao was actually absent that week.

March 15, 2019 (St. Patrick's Day 2019):
(NOTE: This part of the show was not scripted, nor was it planned. Due to this, the scene went on for several minutes, so I will only show a portion of the recorded dialogue)
Tara: Is this not the 1st fake report you've received?
Secret Squirrel: *sigh* It never stops. *pulls out some paper* We've had several fake reports in the past few years.
Tara: *grabs the paper and realizes that it's a record of all the false reports they've had lately* Oh dear... I assume the fake reports are starting to get to you, huh?
Secret Squirrel: Yeah... It's especially getting to the chief.
================================================
So for context, as we were doing our St. Patrick's Day show, someone (presumably a prankster) decided to report us to a secret agency in the CN city (the same one that Secret Squirrel and Morocco Mole work at).
According to Secret, the caller claimed that there was a robbery of some sort happening in the building (which, of course, wasn't true).
Thankfully, despite the tensity of the situation, nobody got hurt.
This actually wouldn't be the only instance of Secret Squirrel appearing in the studio, but we'll get to that when the time comes.
