Ok I don't think Simeon Is NB (buz he's human now and he appeared in Solomon's dream sequence with Nightbringer appearing at the end, he should have know If that was the case) but also... Simeon has confirmed to have at least Clairevoyance so maybe he Is capable of learning other time related powers?

Nightbringer Is a demon who wants to make humans "happy" and... Simeon Is now human... So maybe we aren't the ones who made a pact with NB, but Simeon? For what reasons? Idk, but Nightbringer and Simeon being allies wouldn't be so far, considering that Simeon doesn't serve the celestial realm anymore.

To be completly honest, it seems like Yeosang has already done a lot of shadow work on his life, since his energy is ascending. His childhood was complicated, and dark even, there are things he has seen, felt, and lived that no child was supposed to live through. But he did. thankfully it also seems that he worked on that, and now, this is just memories that won't impact his energy at all.

Yeosang is a free energy, he is himself, he doesn't hide his true self not even in front of cameras. he is what he is and people can either take it or leave it. He believes in himself, on his capacities. This boy loves himself and every piece of him, no matter how dark they are, and how twisted it can be

Another thing is that his working shadow self has made him able to develop his spirutual path and psychic abilities, i believe that Yeosang has a huge manifestation power but is also able to use clairevoyance. However, there's a lot he still needs to forgive in order to archieve a perfect balance with his inner shadow self

I wad stuck in Totsuka and Megan and in what their world looks like, so i had a talk to my brother/cowriter and now I have some ideas to work with.

First of all, the races. I used to think that it would be a lot of hard work to make lots of different races in a world, but man, that's fun

There are five races (for now, might add one or two later depending on how it goes): The dragons (although its probablybetter to refer to them as 'dragonborns'), the humans, the fae, the vampires and the shapeshifters.

The vampires get energy/their life force from blood (obsviously). The humans, from their stomach (may change that). The fae, from their environment (like. mostly anywhere). I haven't decided yet for the shapeshifters, but then the dragonborns get their life force from the sun.

I wanted to have a logic behind all the races, and then we decided to make a mithology: we are gonna inpire it on our favorite pantheons (greco-roman, nordic and japanese). The Main Deity (like zeus/jupiter or odin or amaterasu) is gonna be the Sun Deity and they blessed the dragonborns maaaany many many millenia ago, so that's why their energy comes from the sun. We still have yet to dig deeper into that.

Then we have the magic system: It's pretty simple, actually. There are two kinds of magic:

Spiritual magic (nonsense, clairevoyance, mind reading, anormal phenomena)

And Material magic.

Now, material magic has two subtypes. Chemic and Physical. Physical magic is manipulating effects of physic, like explosion and making things move, and Chemic magic is manipulating chemical phenomena. Like... poisioning. Degradation. Human body functions. I don't know much about it but I thinm most of the things that happen in the world are under one of these two things. So I divided magic like that! Each race has (generally) an inclination to either or another (Material or Spiritual). The fae are more prone to have ease with Spiritual magic (at least it comes easier to them), the humans, Material, the Shapeshifters, Material, and the vampires, Spiritual. The dragonborns are blessed so they have a natural inclination to both equally.

And lastly, the main idea behind having a lot of races is that my brother loves shonen anime and One Piece and draws most of his ideas from there. He wanted to have a powerful and officially extinct race, and kne of the main characters (totsuka) is a direct descendant of them.

He wanted the race to be like, the sun people, and when I questioned him about how they would be like and suggested a lot of things (werewolves, clairvoyants, elves...) we reached the dragonborn idea. They're not proper dragons nor dragonborns, but it's where I'm drawing their inspiration from. Prob gonna chanhe in the future

Im literally making ideas for other Bright family members so I can procrastinate on getting a rename for Jack/Abirt (will be referring to Jack as Abirt from this point on in this post). This is great. I love procrastination.

Anyways, have a list of things I got going on for each family member:

Mikell / O5-6 "Cowboy"

Mikell dropped out of school when he was 15 because he needed to support the household and he wasn't really good with school anyway. He felt it was more like Abirt's thing since the younger one skipped several grades and was a genius overall. So Mikell left the education to him.

This eventually caused him to be a disappointment to his father for a lot of years but his father suddenly favoured him the most after he joined the foundation as an Agent and really skipped a lot of ladders while climbing up the ranks.

He does eventually have to finish his schooling before he became an O5 but he has a lot of anxiety about it (doesn't pressure his kids though)

Jack / Abirt / O5-7 [O5 title still undecided]

I've considered his title being "The Eternal", "The Phoenix" and "The Permanent"

TJ and Claire

Here's a fun one. I'm making TJ and Claire non-identical twins. Claire gets the future, TJ gets the past.

Claire has 3 types of clairvoyance: Claircognizance, clairevoyance and clairaudience.

TJ has a restoration anomaly. They can restore anything to a former state. Still working on other traits to this anomaly. And their lore

Sera:

Still TJ's kid but spicier. Basically, there was a demand of TJ's anomalies so a project was put in place. They were going to make a clone or replicate of TJ.

Sera was a result of the project but the project ultimately failed because she didnt inherit TJ's abilities

She's the only non-anomalous family member. At least about non-anomalous as it can get.

Still deciding if this should be done by the Foundation

Meet the two families that surround Savvy's daily life in Cupid's Arrow.

Savvy's 'Blood' Family

Papa Metcalf - former Navy officer and head of Metcalf Mafia; old callsign was "Gaboon", which is a slight homage to his father

Mama Metcalf - runs the best restaurant/diner in town and where both of Savvy's families like to congregate

Curtis Everett - adopted child by the Metcalfs when he was 3; closest to Savvy and acts her Consigliere

Edgar - adopted child by the Metcalfs during infancy after car accident that almost claimed him, Curtis, and Mace while actually claiming his mother

James Mace - former foster who aged out with the Metcalfs; considers them family though he's content with not being formally adopted; works at NASA as engineer

Nick Gant - former foster who also aged out with the Metcalfs; considers them family like Mace; tends to travel and showcase his many tricks and illusions to get by

Cassie Holmes - current foster who came to the Metcalfs thanks to Nick; really enjoys fortune telling and playing at being clairevoyant; has a favored tarot deck that she uses

Natasha "Phoenix" Trace - former foster; closest girlfriend of Savvy and only one of the Metcalf kids to follow dear old 'Dad' into the Navy where she's currently a lieutenant and also a fighter pilot

Frank Adler - Savvy's future husband/current love interest; works boat repair after Papa Metcalf taught him all he needed to know; spends most of his days taking care of Mary the way his sister would've wanted; takes him longer than it should to realize that Cupid's Arrow is a mafia-owned town and Savvy is its leader

Mary Adler - Savvy's future niece; mathematic genius; adores her extended family thanks to Savvy; doesn't realize how loved and adored she is by everyone in Cupid's Arrow; her best friends are Jake's niece and Sam's nephews; Friday's are spent with Roberta and Saturday's are with Savvy

Savvy's Mafia Family

Jake Jensen - resident hacker and enforcer when necessary; came to Cupid's Arrow after Savvy saw his talent in her law firm's IT department; still works for the firm when he's not doing work for the mafia; also moved his sister and niece so they could be close to him; only Savvy gets away with calling Jake 'JJ'

Colin Shea - resident sleuth and newer member of this 'family'; Savvy discovered him when he was spying on one of her clients and decided his skills could be useful; nickname is Casanova; works most often with Jake

Steve Rogers - retired Army vet who ended up in Cupid's Arrow because of Sam; takes over one of Papa Metcalf's businesses (local car garage); one of Savvy's most trusted bodyguards

Bucky Barnes - followed Steve to Cupid's Arrow after being medically discharged from the Army; works alongside Steve at the garage; one of Savvy's most trusted bodyguards

Sam Wilson - met Savvy and her dad via the VA; accepted invite to visit Cupid's Arrow and never left; moved his sister and nephews to keep them close; runs the town's largest marina; another enforcer when necessary for the 'family'
