Since you all love the Clawdette tales. She was in annoying Missy while I was trying to get comfortable with a stomach ache. Couldn't get the cat-bed/body pillow right, so started editing on my phone anyway. Suddenly, there's pressure in the perfect spot...it's black and furry. Apparently she knows my needs. Her little butt is right where I needed it and is helping me feel better.

she has an old cassette tape collection that she guards with her life. each one has a different vibe—one for hunts, one for long drives, one for nights where she can’t sleep because the weight of the past presses too hard on her chest. dean respects the hell out of it, sam pretends not to care but knows every track by heart, and she refuses to upgrade to digital because, in her words, "the moment you do, the music loses its soul."

she’s got a tattoo for every major hunt she’s survived. some are sigils inked into her skin to ward off evil, some are little pieces of memory—coordinates of the first vampire nest she wiped out, a line from her dad’s journal, the scarred-over remnants of an exorcism gone wrong. each mark is a reminder that she’s still here, still fighting, even when everything in the world has tried to take her down.

under all the hell she has been through—the sleepless nights, the close calls, the scars both seen and unseen—she still believes there’s something more waiting for her. she clings to the idea that one day, she won’t have to wake up with blood on her hands, that she can carve out a life beyond hunting. maybe it’s naive, maybe it’s just another lie she tells herself to keep going, but deep down, she refuses to let the darkness win. she still has hope for her future, even if she has to fight for it every step of the way.

MORE Random West Wing Headcanons bc I said so

i’ve gotten back into the show recently (esp bc i understand all the politics and crap) and i feel the need to talk about my favorite dysfunctional political administration

in the first post i made, i said ainsley and sam dated for two years before breaking up. well that breakup didn’t last very long. a month later, they started dating again. from that point, on they never left each others side. they live in georgetown with a rottweiler and four kids.

after being really involved in solving a finance crisis, josh was invited to throw the first pitch at the Mets game. when the camera zoomed in on him, he was visibly emotional.

donna was over at josh’s apartment so much during his recovery period, they’ve begun to have weekly movie nights. they continue this tradition even after marriage and kids.

josh and donna’s house has a wall in the hallway of their house when you first enter that is covered with their kids’ handprints - at first, it was just their oldest being naughty but they let it grow into the Moss-Lyman art exhibit. even sam and ainsley’s kids, and toby and andy’s kids have added their prints to the wall

there’s a weekend every summer where all of senior staff and their families come up to Manchester and stay on the Bartlet Farm at Abbey’s insistence - she wears the title of “Grandma Abbey” proudly

at the inaugural ball (aka s4 josh & donna), josh and donna spend so much time together that a lot of the people there going to congratulate josh on getting bartlet’s second term mistake josh and donna for husband and wife - as a joke, donna and josh let people believe it

^^they end up getting quite the talking to from abbey - because she’s mad they didn’t tell her first (and cj, who has to field press questions the next day and they almost caused a domestic incident)

as an april fools day prank, zoey and charlie covered bartlet’s walls in the oval office with sticky notes - sam helped and wrote a “your mama” joke in latin as payback for bartlet having fun with the staff

josh has a terrible habit of biting the skin around his nails until they bleed - he doesn’t realize how bad it is until he turns some papers into the president with large drops of blood on them - donna keeps spare bandaids at her desk

toby likes to have a little fun with donna and say things to deliberately get a reaction out of her - some are truths, some are lies. one truth is that he likes beans on toast. donna called him clinically insane.

leo really likes musicals. can he sing? hardly ever. but on days he finds he needs to relax, he puts on the original cast recording of oklahoma and everything turns out okay

donna unofficially adopts a sickly kitten that lived in the trash near her apartment - she names it Brownie and nurses it back to health

^^Josh is allergic to Brownie but doesn’t say a word to Donna until after they’ve been married and had kids when they reach the age where they start asking for pets

Donna is sort of a multiple-threat kind of girl - she was an excitable kid so she grew up knowing how to do all kinds of things - these things are tap dance for seven years, karate for two years, horseback riding has been the only constant in her life, she can knit and sew, and she even speaks a little french - josh LOVES it when Donna speaks french

josh is always cold, he’s never run warm. donna knit a blanket for him as a birthday present. he’s never said anything but it’s one his favorite things in the whole world

donna actually likes hearing some of the president’s obscure historical tidbits - she even goes so far as to learning some of her own to exchange with him

toby visits the veteran’s grave that he buried every year and even talks to him a little while he’s there

it took a solid 20 minutes after donna had their first kid to let someone else hold him besides josh. the third person to hold their kid was bartlet.

^^^donna has never seen josh more in love than when he held their kid for the first time. cj took a photo of josh gazing at the little baby swaddled in blue clothing with visible tears streaking down his face. it’s one of donna’s favorite photos.

Sam is really good at hockey. He takes his kids to hockey games whenever he can.

"Please, please, please!" Lorna pleaded for the upteenth time that morning, as if repeating the words over and over would somehow change the response she had received.

"I can't, you know well enough I can't," Alison replied, raising her head briefly from it's new porcelain home. Her flu seemed to have grown worse, pale pink cheeks greening at the corners, but there was nothing they could do, or at least nothing they could do whilst they remained holed up at the college.

"But I simply cannot go with Celia Jane alone!," Lorna exclaimed knowing well enough that she was acting quite puerile, she ought to be their leader- a good soldier but a week of having all the other girls underfoot like kittens to their mother had worn her down.

"As long as neither of you come back with a bruised eye," (the 'again' was implicit), "this mission will be a success."

Lorna had the grace to smile at that, taking the offered humour as distraction, neither of them wanted to think about what success truly meant or rather what inevitable failure awaited them.

And so, Celia Jane and Lorna set off on borrowed bicycles into the grey morning. A morning that might have been filled with prep and tests and games just last month but that all seemed very foreign now.

The half hour's journey to the nearest village was filled with nothing but silence until they approached the village green. CJ was the first to speak, swearing something horrid that Lorna couldn't help but silently agree with- the village was no more.

Crumbling walls; decimated roofs were all they could see. And planes, German planes, green and yellow marring everything they touched. The jolly red post box, the only connection she had to her family wasn't spared, it's window beginning to rust just from a few weeks of disuse.

Celia Jane continuing her rude words, but Lorna was rather too preoccupied to give her the telling off she deserved. As they slunk back to their bikes, amongst the ruins of their only hope of salvation, Lorna couldn't be strong anymore.

And so, she cried.

The Wicked Step-Granddaughters: The seven that are Drizella's are Hans' daughters as well. If any are Anastasia's, they're adopted.

Tiger Peony: She's a hippie vegetarian who's really into Tourney but doesn't play.

Tipo: He learns to cook from Kronk and helps him out with  Camp Chippamunka during the summer when he's older.

Tyrone (number 32): He's Tiana and Naveen's son. Lotte spoiled him, lol.

Uma: She gets her OWN sea phonies after d3 and she keeps her shark friends as well.

William (number 12): Wendy's oldest son and Jane Darling's younger brother.

Yi-Min: She's good at tourney as well as Swords and Shields.

Yupi: He is Kuzco's favorite 'nephew'.

Yzla: She's good at gymnastics.

Zam: He is the oldest of the kids in Yzma's family and has also caught his cousins doing weird things most often.

Zellie: She's the oldest of Flynnpunzal's kids.

Zephyr: He looks more like his mom as he grows up.

Zevon: His dad (and his siblings' dad) is Cedric from Sofia the first. His mom also accidentally turned him into a llama as a baby.

Zim: He still practices chemistry but the idea of being evil bores him.

West Wingin' It

No TV show has ever successfully been able to use "New York Minute" as background music and this show is no different. It's too bombastic and cringe. It's always intrusive. They just want the lyrics "somebody's going to emergency, somebody's going to jail." This show even used it as the episode title. The song itself blows.

Bartlet really is kind of awful to Ellie, his middle daughter, in the previous episode. It's a sharp contrast to how he is with Zoe.

I keep forgetting about some of these guest stars. Felicity Huffman!

One of the things that has NOT aged well about this show is the casual misogyny. In what universe is it supposed to be cute and charming for Sam to tell Ainsley that people think she was hired because she's a "leggy blond sex kitten?" And then Bartlet repeats it! Also Emily Proctor is tiny and not leggy. And earlier in the series when Leo tells Hoynes that CJ didn't tattle on him because "she's a good girl." GROSS, LEO. They do a lot of commenting on various womens' beauty but never for the men despite the fact that literal Rob Lowe is there. They do it when Matthew Perry shows up, if I remember, and I guess there's some swooning over Lord John. It just hits different.

That being said, the scene of her doing the bossa nova in a bathrobe in the Steam Pipe Trunk Distribution Venue is pretty cute.

Despite this being not a great episode, it features my favorite Big Block of Cheese Day scene, namely the Cartographers for Social Equality.

Polysoos arranged marriage au

Duke lsh was already happily married to cjs but his aides urged him to take on another spouse. Polygamy was very common in nobility but Lsh had vowed to be faithful to his only husband. Neither of them are very happy with this.

Their neighboring kingdom, Roan, was the land of beastmen. Humans generally treated these beastmen with distaste so it was no wonder the kingdom was closed off except for the yearly trade. The rate of young beastmen being captured and experimented upon has been significantly reduced since then. 

lsh and cjs were quite fond of beastmen though- mostly because of their adopted kids. 

Ohn and Hong were malnourished kittens when they first found them. They had been severely abused at the hands of their family and it took a long time to open up to them.

Raon was a baby dragon who cjs had chanced upon. He was being tortured at the hands of the Stan Family. Lsh wondered how that bastard Venion Stan had the gall to torture a dragon out of all things. Marquis Stan had a wonderful time dealing with a vicious 4 year old dragon after that. This had not been made public because lsh feared other greedy nobles might try to harm the dragon and of course, Marquis Stan didn’t want to ruin his reputation and incur the wrath of other beastmen. 

This was also why he was the first one to line up in selling away his adopted son to get married to lsh. Now, as a bribe or as a spy..? That was yet to be decided.

Krs was kidnapped when he was a little kitten and was smuggled out of the Henituse territory into Stan Territory. He would have met the same fate as other beastmen if it wasn't for his exquisite looks.  

They still treated him like a servant most of the time. And he had to hide his cat ears and tail lest they cut it off out of sick amusement. Taylor was probably the only person who treated him like an equal but he was forced to leave the house after his accident.

He wasn't surprised when the marquis decided to sell him off to the only duke in their kingdom. A duke who was already happily married. Krs had heard stories about their love story in passing from the servants. He wondered just how far the marquis could go to ruin someone’s happiness. 

-despite what he thought, he still had to go through with it. It barely took a day before all his meager belongings were packed up and he was shipped off to the duchy by morning. 

The marriage ceremony just consisted of signing the certificate and the Duke hadn't bothered to show up. Not that krs hadn't expected him to. 

- cue in to everyone treating krs as air because he was of the Stan Territory and ever since Raon came to live with them, everyone had a general prejudice against the Stans, adopted son or no adopted son. 

-krs was extremely happy at the prospect of not being beaten up anymore and having achieved his desired slacker life so he hardly left his room.

The duke and the servants who were prepared for him to create trouble “...”

- Out of everyone, it was Raon who warmed up first to krs, followed by Ohn and hong. 

Raon had been wandering around as a kitten in the garden ( he often polymorphed into a kitten because his hyung and noona were kittens too) and came across a beautiful human who was sleeping (sleeping????) on a swing. Raon had heard from the servants how they sent off another human to their house to marry his father - ahem- the duke. 

- Raon keeps stalking krs everywhere after this. He wanted to ensure this human (who smelled weird. Somewhat like his noona and hyung but different) didnt harm his new family. None of the Stans he had met were nice people after all. 

-at some point krs noticed the little shadow following him everywhere and began to leave extra servings of food beside his plate. The snacks he had on hand increased too. 4 weeks later, Raon had started eating alongside this weirdo human instead of sneaking after him. 

-one time, after ohn and hong joined them too, they had a sleepover. It wasnt planned, the kids all fell asleep on krs’ bed after playing around all day and the redhead didnt have the heart( or energy) to wake them up. He simply curled around them naturally - his instincts taking over 

 after suppressing them for so long. He steadily ignored the ‘must protect the babies’ feeling and fell asleep. Unbeknownst to him, his ears and tail came out and this was how Ohn, hong and Raon found out their new father was also a cat

- This secret was guarded more religiously than their apple pies. Their new father asked them not to, so they won't tell anyone! Not even their father and appa! (No they weren't bribed by hugs and cuddles)

- after some time, cjs and lsh realize that maybe krs isn't as bad as they had expected. And thus krs’ slacker life gradually began to fade away. 

Instead of lazing around in bed all morning, he had to get up early to have breakfast with them or the kids and cjs would cry. 

Instead of lazing around in the afternoon he had to play with the kids. 

Instead of lazing around in the evening he had to go on walks with both the Duke and his husband. He didn't understand why they wanted him to be a third wheel so bad. And why were they looking at him so fondly now????

It was only at night when he finally had time for himself but that disappeared too when Raon asked to sleep with him. Krs realized he was weaker to children (and cjs’ puppy eyes) than he initially thought. 

- and much, much later when they finally had sex with krs only then did lsh and cjs realized that their husband was ,in fact, a beastman (krs will never forget the look on cjs’ face when his tail accidentally popped out and smacked the brunette in his face) 

- they get married again??? And have the grandest wedding ever?????
