Stellar Performance by Chrysalis High Gymnasts and Skaters at the Karnataka Gymnastics Meet 2019 - Chrysalis

There is no denying the importance of sports and activities amongst the young, budding students. Sports and physical activities help in ensuring the overall well-being of the young kids – right from an early stage of life. Realising the importance of the same, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) in India had organised the Council of School Sports & Games 2019 for encouraging performance in sports and games in CBSE-affiliated schools.

The Board aims at conducting sports events as well as interactive games for schools that are affiliated under the CBSE board. The sports events are organised at Cluster & Zonal as well as National levels every year in multiple age-groups for boys and girls. Chrysalis High school in Marathalli, Bangalore, affiliated to CBSE board, proudly participated in the Karnataka Gymnastics Meet 2019 that was organised in July 2019.

Gymnasts & Skaters from Chrysalis High Delivering Stellar Performances at the Karnataka Gymnastics Meet 2019

Karnataka Gymnastics Meet 2019 witnessed massive participation from aspiring gymnasts as well as skaters from different parts of the city. In the competition, gymnasts and skaters from Chrysalis High in Bangalore delivered impressive performances and even bagged medals and certificates to their honour.

Erin Vidyasagar from Chrysalis High was the all-around champion in the U14 girl’s category in the competition. She scored a total score of 30.5. Given her excellent performance, Erin was awarded the prestigious All-Round Girls Trophy.

Jestha Kothavle also won the all-round champion in the U17 girl’s category, scoring an impressive 28.05.

Amongst the boys, Shashwat Kothavle bagged the overall championship in the U14 boy’s category with a total score of 40.45.

In the skating competition organised by the CISCE Sports & Games 2019, six aspiring skaters from the Chrysalis High delivered great performances.
