not my favorite but i've been thinking so hard about what their casual outfits would look like and simply had to get it out there :3 (ramblings on the fashion choices below)

from the start i wanted the cashier to have some kind of goth or goth adjacent style. initially i was thinking about gothic lolita for her but the more i thought about it i was like Hold On Now. all these intricate dresses i was looking at look very expensive. can someone working fast food actually afford that??? probably not. i was Considering vkei but then i stumbled upon karasu zoku and i feel like it fits her (not that there's Anything At All to work with lol). i thought it'd be cute to give her a leather jacket and long skirt that are two different shades of black (a struggle too real)

i knew for sure that i wanted chika to wear decora. i only have so much patience for little details so i went with shinora since it's adjacent to it, more accurate to the time period, and more toned down in comparison (less sanity loss for me!!!).

i wanted to keep chika's hairstyle similar to how she normally wears it and i feel like the middle point between the two buns tomoe shinohara would wear and the two braids chika usually has is loop braids (and also it looks super cute). i didn't give her as many accessories as i defintiely should have but alas, i would like to be sane during something that i didn't intend to spend more than like three hours on. i felt like the feathers fit with the style so i keep one of the defining parts of her usual design.

it also was my goal to make their styles contrast each other and i felt like i definitely achieved that with super colorful and maximalist vs all black and relatively simple. i just think it's cute when two people have opposite aesthetics lol

So, thanks to life, this took me a while to get around to. But, I thought it was a fun prompt, so I fought and got it written down. It might not be the best, but I hope it’s fun! And I hope it comes across clearly that Miyabi and Chikarin have maybe been at this a few times already, and that they are now, for sure, seniors. Because reminder! Everyone in these scenarios are aged up to at least 18! But, regardless of my struggles, enjoy!

But god damn, should she have asked Eikichi more about his girlfriend. Then, she would’ve thought twice about giving an ex-mean girl control of the vibrator in her cunt. She would’ve put more thought into her words, and known better than to suggest this sort of game to a woman who would torment her like this.

Time for another rambling post about my OCs that nobody asked for, this time with images.

This post is going to be about skin tones and lazyness, basically "everyone has the same skin tone because I didn't bother changing it from the default value" and "it's not very realistic for every single character to have the exact same skin tone".

I'm also going to mark this as Mature because two of the characters shown have visible bulges in their pants (just to be clear, the characters are fully clothed and are not wearing overly revealing outfits).

(The characters pictured below are (from left to right) Alice, Rose, Azalea, and Natsu.)

So, all four of these characters have the exact same skin tone as each other, though I don't find this very realistic as none of them are even from the same continent.

(Disclaimer: I'm pretty sure something went wrong when taking the pictures for this post, Azalea is supposed to have pointed elf ears and Natsu is supposed to not have human ears, I didn't notice this until I started typing this post and I'm too lazy to go back and fix it. Blame Koikatsu!'s character editor for not properly loading characters' head type.)

Before I forget, here's what the characters' skin tones look like after I updated them, Natsu looks the same because she's only here for reference (and I think keeping the default skin tone does make sense for her).

I'm gonna go over each character individually now, because none of the information I'm going to go over is the same between characters (none of the characters are the same species, none of the characters are from the same area).

I'm not sure if Alice is the most weird or the least weird of these four.

He's a human, but he also magically altered his body to grow wings and a tail (he also crossdresses, which most people don't do).

Alice is from the US, though I haven't quite decided where in the US yet.

Skin tone is honestly not that different from Koikatsu!'s default, and none of his magical alterations affected it.

Now a character who did use magic to change her skin tone.

Rose is a demon magically disguising herself as a human (which kinda necessitated a skin tone change because her natural skin tone (not pictured) is light blue).

Rose is from Hell, which (at least in my OC multiverse) is very loosely based on Dante's Inferno (meaning it's not just fire and brimstone everywhere).

There's actually two skin tone revisions here because I thought the first revision (middle) made her look sunburnt, which wasn't my intention.

My thought process behind the revision was basically "Hell is hot, the sun is also hot, if you spend a lot of time in the sun you'll get a tan, spending a lot of time in Hell would probably have a similar effect" (ignoring the fact that Rose grew up in one of the colder parts of Hell).

My logic is probably flawed in some way, I didn't put a lot of thought into it.

I just noticed she has ears in the second picture, can Koikatsu! at least screw up consistantly?

Azalea is a wood elf, nothing magical happened to her (at least nothing that's relevant to this post).

She's from one of the isekai worlds in my OC multiverse, yes there are multiple.

My thought process behind this revision was basically the same as my thought process for Rose's revision, just a lot more straightforward (wood elves probably spend a lot of time outside, spending a lot of time outside will give you a tan).

(Natsu's picture would go here but I didn't make one of her alone.)

Natsu is a kitsune, a shapeshifting fox spirit who, for lore reasons, doesn't actually know how to shapeshift.

She's from Japan (I don't know Japan well enough to know exactly where), which is (presumably) where Koikatsu!'s default girl Chikarin is from.

By the way, I'm not fully set on Rose and Azalea's revised skin tones yet (I'll probably need to actually make some scenes that use them first), and I also have other characters like Whitney and Anna who probably shouldn't still be using the default skin tone.

Also, this post has been sitting in my drafts overnight because Tumblr wouldn't let me post it when I first wrote it (I pressed the Post button and nothing happened).

i like to think they're in the same grade but in different classes so their first proper interaction was at peace diner, chika is like ordering a burger or somethin and the cashier was like "It Appears We've Met (vaguely remembered seeing her very particular hair color) In Another Life (at school)." since then she's been going in every day to get the cheapest thing on the menu for an excuse to talk to her (it's a good thing the cashier is into yappers)

So, again, I am not the most proud of this, but I think it’s a fun attempt at something longer. I also got a bit creative with the prompt, I hope that’s okay! Other than that, I don’t really have much to say, just enjoy this lil ditty!

We’re not going that deep, Sirens aren’t gonna be an issue.” She pointed out with a laugh, “At least not any that are aggressive enough to bother us, all the sirens and mermaids this close to the surface are rather friendly so long as you don’t, y’know, bleed around them.”

With that, the petite girl put in her breathing aparatus and sat on the edge of the boat, a final thumbs up Miyabi’s final assurance before the woman fell back into the salty water of the ocean. So, with a sigh, the chubby girl followed her friend’s example. Letting herself fall into the cold ocean water.

Once she was beneath the water, though, she did her best to follow the petite woman down into the water. Which, did show the raven-haired girl a beautiful flurry of colorful fish, coral, and plants as they swam and explored the expansive stretch of water before their scenery became little more than rocks and skittish fish.

Chikarin made sure to keep close to Miyabi, though, so even when they had to rely on the light of their underwater flashlights, she kept calm and was able to admire the rock formations and glimpses of life that the blue-haired girl showed her.

Though, as Miyabi followed her companion ever deeper into the chilly darkness, something caught her senses. A musical sort of tone akin to that of a whale. Though, the dark-haired woman could somehow feel it crawl over her scuba suit, despite how it was undoubtedly somewhere far off in the saltwater. Which, should’ve comforted her, even if the way the melodious sound crawled over her body made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up.

So, despite the distance, the ravenette still jolted when Chikarin seemed to apparate from the shadows of the underwater cave to tap her shoulder. Her expression, though muddied by the scuba gear, clear to the chubbier girl. “Did you feel that?” Which got a nod from the girl, “Do you want to keep going?” was the next question, which made Miyabi pause to think, before she gave a tentative nod.

So, with anxiety still between them, the duo of girls pushed on in their exploration of the cavern. The palpable music kept at the forefront of their minds as they lightly split back up to search for more cool fish to observe. Until, Miyabi caught a glimpse of something colorful in the corner of her hazel eyes and paused to swing the beam of her flashlight over to see what it was. Only to be met with...not a fish, that was clear at a glance.

Because, the creature that her eyes landed on was humanoid enough to be as beautiful as a tiger, but still grin at her with shark-like teeth, his blueish black hair asway in the current, free to drift in front of the bottomless pits of black that kept the chubby ravenette pinned to the spot, even when she felt Chikarin grab onto the back of her scuba suit while she drank in the dark-blue, lower body with its stripe of lighter blue, and scales that glittered with different shades of blue in the light of her flashlight

As if the petite woman could somehow fling Miyabi to safety. Though, since she didn’t try, they both seemed to silently be on the same page of the situation. Which, was a useful pro that came from their years of friendship for the predicament, and maybe a bit of a cold comfort for the ravenette. If all else fails, she knew that Chikarin would understand her, and that she had someone to share that bond with.

So, with a deep breath, she shook her friends hand off and bolted in the opposite direction of the colorful woman. The move seemingly enough of a surprise to buy them some time to put distance between themselves and the large monster. Which, the girls did their best to take full advantage of.

While Chikarin bolted off in her own direction to try and confuse the monster, Miyabi did the same. That thing can probably see so much better in the dark than I can, I’m so dead down here! I’m acting like a stupid horror movie character! I need to get to the enterance! And, while her limbs quickly felt like they were ready to fall off into the icy darkness of the ocean, her momentum was forcibly kept by the sound of the monster’s large, powerful body crashing into the storm formations and walls of the cavern.

Oh god, this thing is DEFINITELY tiring me out. Is he going to eat me? Fish don’t chase prey down like thi- Fuck, wait this isn’t a plain fish. The bobbing light that she clung to her only real way to navigate and hopefully spot some form of spot to hide or escape the monster. Damn it, am I going to drown down here?! Am I even going to be found if I do?! How are mermaids fucking real in the first place? Did Chikarin at least make it out?!

The speed at which those thoughts crashed through her head as she swam made her dizzy. Yet, she was forced to shove that panic down in order to keep her vision sharp for any chance of escape or sight of the monster. Until, finally, Miyabi’s hazel eyes caught a glimpse of a gap in the ceiling of the cavern. A glimpse of hope for some sort of path that was too thin for the monster to follow her through, or maybe even a way into a cavern with some air in it. Or it’s one of those lethal cavern tube thingies that an experienced, fit diver can barely fit in. But right now I don’t really care, I’ll take suffocation over being ripped apart by a monster.

So, she used the rest of her strength to push herself upwards to the hole, her hope strengthened when her flashlight’s beam showed how the water danced and swished with the current, showing that it had air above it. So, she went ahead and got her flashlight through, then tried her best pull herself up next. The lukewarm air that met her scuba suit when her hands broke the surface just enough to give her the adrenal strength needed to try and hoist herself through the slightly narrow hole.

At least, until the stone that made up the cave’s ceiling proved just how cruel nature truly was for the human body.
