CHA EUN-WOO 1st Fan Meeting Tour [JUST ONE 10 MINUTE] In KUALA LUMPUR
The rising K-pop star Cha Eun Woo (차은우) coming to Malaysia for his debut solo fan-meeting “Just One 10 Minute” in Malaysia. Malaysian Aroha's welcome Cha Eun Woo with #SelamatDatangChaEunWoo and it's trending in social media. Many AROHAs (fans of Cha Eunwoo and his band Astro) showed undying support by arriving to the venue very early.
The 22-year-old soon appeared on stage dressed as his Yi Rim character in the TV series “Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung” wearing a traditional South Korean hanbok complete with its signature headpiece and opened the show with the drama’s original soundtrack called “Please Remember”.
First session was called “Challenge: CHA!pago”, which took place in the style of a survival game show, complete with a large bell prop set on stage and showed a few sets of trivial questions about his drama “Rookie Historian Goo Haeryung”. Amongst the Q&A session, Cha Eun-Woo also managed to swooned his fans.
Then came the 2nd session; “C.M.I” – which stands for “Cha Eun-Woo Much Information”. Named after the popular slang T.M.I (Too Much Information), the segment unveiled everyday lives as well as never-before-seen footages of Cha Eun-Woo, captured by his manager without his knowing. "This segment is always difficult for me,” he jokingly commented and proceeded to ask fellow fans for help. The loud cheer of AROHAs was enough to bring the hall loud with screaming during the whole session because one of Cha Eun-Woo mission is failed and his punishment was (Cute Dance).
Cha Eun Woo has a good talent to play music instrument and this time he use piano to performed a cover of Justin Bieber’s hit song “Love Yourself”. He said "You know this song, right? Then let’s sing it together,” Cha Eun-Woo asked the fans to sing-along with the lyrics.
He also surprised Malaysian AROHAs with a cover performance of a Malay song called “Sampai Ke Hari Tua” which is originally performed by Aizat Amdan! He managed to amazed the crowd with the performance of the acoustic-driven song. According to Cha Eun-Woo, he prepared the song while thinking of how to make AROHAs happy during the fan-meeting. It was delightful to see everyone enjoying the special stage and this is so incredible and with good effort, thereʼs no korean accent detect when he sang malay song and the video going to viral now, and everyone in Malaysia very impressed with him.
The 3rd session was named “Mission: Cha!possible”, making use of his athletic skills. During the segment, he was challenged to play a set of basketball shooting game as well as a game of archery.
Last session, which was called “Made By Cha Eun-Woo”. During the session, Cha Eun-Woo sat down on the chair and decorated a special hand-made buchae (Korean traditional fan) for lucky draw winners. He also didn’t missed the chance to interact with AROHAs along the session and followed by two (2) songs "Rainbow Falling”, an original soundtrack from his hit TV show “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty”. His eyes shined as he sang each lyric to the songs whole-heartedly.
Just when we thought the show was over, everyone started to shout “Encore!” – demanding Cha Eun-Woo to comeback on stage. After a countdown video was played on the screen, fans were surprised with a short clip of Eunwoo with his signature handsome visual looks, enough to leave the fans screaming in awe.
After that, Cha Eun-Woo returned to perform one last song as a gift to his fans titled “You And Me”. And with that, the fan-meeting was over.
However fans weren’t as upset, since this just meant that the real highlight of the night was upon them; the meet and greet session with Cha Eun-Woo himself! Fans made orderly lines according to the sections they were in, as they anxiously waited for their turns for the chance to meet eye-to-eye with the heartthrob. Despite it being a quick session, it was indeed a once in a lifetime opportunity that AROHAs would kill for.
“Thank you so much for coming today, I will go back to Korea and promise to you guys that I’ll continue to show various sides of me – as both a member of Astro and also as actor Cha Eun-Woo,” he said to his fans.
Kuala Lumpur was the last stop for his solo “Just One 10 Minute” show, after successfully wrapping his tours in Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok and Manila earlier this month.
Overall, Cha Eun-Woo's “Just One 10 Minute” fan-meeting went very well. We felt that the whole 3 hours spent with the star just went too fast. We sincerely hope he will bring the ASTRO members here next time!
See You Again Cha Eun-Woo !

Cha Eun Woo Charmed Hearts at the 2019 Cha Eun-Woo 1st Fan Meeting Tour [Just One 10 Minute] in Kuala Lumpur
Dance, love, in this happy day,
Under the moon and the stars,
Love, the both of us.
Don’t worry, love,
We’ll get through together, both of us, forever,
Till’ the day we get old,
Loving you.
Loving you,
Loving Aroha.
These are among the verses in “Sampai Ke Hari Tua” covered by Cha Eun Woo exclusively for Malaysian Aroha during his fan meeting, 2019 Cha Eun-Woo 1st Fan Meeting Tour [Just One 10 Minute] in Kuala Lumpur held at the Dewan Wawasan Convention & Exhibition Centre last weekend.
The romantic Malay song originally sung by Aizat Amdan which directly translates to “Till’ the Day We Get Old” was Cha’s surprise performance for his fans during Malaysia’s stop which is part of the Asian leg of the fanmeet. He also performed local songs at each stop of his fan meeting, proving his great effort in getting closer to his fans which he lovingly calls ‘Aroha’.
Fans were caught by surprise as soon as the ‘Face Genius’ appeared on stage in a Korean traditional attire, hanbok looking all graceful and majestic as he performed “Remember Me” which is the OST of his latest K-Drama, Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung. He further explained about his role in the sageuk drama during the first segment of the fan meeting, “Challenge! CHApago;” a character who works as a romance novelist under his nom de plume "Maehwa."
The singer-cum-actor from the K-Pop group, ASTRO proved that he is not all about visuals as he even played the piano for his very own cover of Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself.”
Although it was his first visit to Malaysia, he was not awkward with the fans at all as he went up close and personal with Aroha during C.M.I (Cha Much Information) segment. Besides that, he casually chatted with Aroha during “Made by Cha Eun Woo” segment while decorating a buchae (Korean fan) to be given away to lucky Aroha at the fan meeting. Malaysian Aroha also succeeded in teaching him the word ‘sayang’ as it was more commonly used by the locals to express love instead of ‘cinta’. All of the audience were awestruck when quick learner Cha managed to say the full sentence, “Sayang, aku cinta padamu” fluently in Malay. He also expressed his love to Aroha in Chinese, “Wo ai ni”. Upon discovering that the hand banner instructions for the fan project were written in four languages, Cha immediately goes, “International! Global… Global.” Well, welcome to Malaysia, Cha Eun Woo!
Although it is currently the rainy season in Malaysia, surprisingly the sky was clear and blue during his visit. He chose the colour sky blue to represent Kuala Lumpur city which then inspired him to give a special nickname for Malaysian Aroha,”하늘이” (Haneullie) which means the sky.
The fan meeting lasted for about 2 hours but Cha managed to capture thousands of hearts with his variety of charms and talents which complement his supreme-level visuals.
Cha enjoyed a short break at a 5 star hotel in Kuala Lumpur city centre after the fan meeting and uploaded a couple of shots of him chilling at the pool during his stay. It was wonderful to discover that he had a good time in our country. After all, the well-being of an artist is all that matters to a fan.

Our greatest gratitude to MACPIEPRO for organizing such a lovely and healing event.

If he is anything like me and my family, we would have extra fried eggs, sunny side up or 'telur mata' to have with our nasi lemak so this is me imagining him cooking the fried eggs for his nasi lemak, looks so delicious on the table 😊👍 . #MKFxChaEunWooinKL #chaeunwooinkl #contesttime https://www.instagram.com/p/B35F3f-htu1/?igshid=4n1vs5835854
