Veronica Johnson, or just "Red" for short, is the Patriots' cyberspace/demolitions expert, she's the best in the biz, though you wouldn't guess as much from her demeanor, being a wisecracker even in the direst of situations. That edge was Operation Project, a CDIA military/propaganda program to create "the perfect supersoldier", and Lucy was the perfect candidate! (as well as its first and only success) As parascience goes, the circumstances that led to Lucy Bell becoming Project One are unrepeatable, but a success she was, and that success made her an easy pick for when the Patriots were founded a year later.
