I've been dragging my heels on working on it a bit because I keep wanting to draw other things, but I refuse to make it one of those unfinished projects.

I'm not going to lie pals, I've been struggling with my relationship/my place in the fanfic writing world. I think with how emotionally and mentally tasking the fics I wrote in 2023 were has drained me from wanting to write fics for the foreseeable future.

In other words, ya girl is struggling.

So in my way to reconnect with my love for fic writing, I've been rereading my fics bit by bit! This month, I've been slowly rereading my dwd fix-it fic and its sequel.

Why I love them:

When I decided to write a Don't Worry Darling fix-it fic, I was doing my best to fill in every plot hole and answer every question I already had about the movie. I was thrilled to have finished Don't Worry, Darling the day the movie premiered in the US and I LOVE the twisty ending I gave it. PS. I was quite literally writing this fic the same day it was posted because I was so determined to post it on Sep 23rd.

But I also knew that I wanted to write more in that world and continue answering questions I had beyond what the movie showed which is how Come Back, My Love was created. I started CMBL and either wrote, edited, or planned out my first 100k fic from April 1st 2023 - October 7th 2023. Which is a long ass time to be working on a fic. The only time I took a break was when I was on vacation for a week.

I'm incredibly proud of those two fics and what I accomplished with them.

If you're a fic writer out there reading this, I hope this encourages you to find the things you love about your writing if you're struggling with your own place in fic writing. 💗

gaaaah, now you're making me to actually want to write a can't buy me love au for jp and em as snooprene and bingling respectively T.T and it's soooo easy since it's very local. i wanna grasp the kilig factor, which i've been saving up for a teleserye-esque fics :'))) it's like all of my shenanigans back in college during scriptwriting class leads me to this moment lol! thank you, thank you so much for allowing me to brainrot this! i honestly can't wait to delve more into actually writing something as soapy as this one :')
