if the waterfall has completely created, it is typically being treated through various medical procedures. Waterfall varies in attributes and structures. In some cases, waterfalls are shallow and can be evacuated just by scratching the waterfall from the eye nerves or from the focal point itself. On the off chance that other direct manual medical procedures won't fix it, the eye expert will select to utilize the guide of laser to make the medical procedure more straightforward and quicker. Now and again, lasers would make an opening on the external territory of the tainted piece of the eye to enable light to go through, bringing about better vision. In any case, more often than not, besides scratching the waterfall far from the line of the patient's vision, they are into laser treatment like the most recent LASIK treatment. In any case, more often than not, the primary waterfall medical procedure was not effective causing a great deal of confusion and that incorporates the improvement of the auxiliary waterfalls behind the focal point where the principal medical procedure was coordinated to. In these cases, manual optional medical procedure isn't suggested. It regularly builds up a while or even a long time after the principal waterfall medical procedure.
Amid these situations, it is an unquestionable requirement to utilize laser medical procedure rather streamlines and keeps the waterfall from attacking the patient's eye. What laser does is it makes another opening in the back piece of the affected part? Since optional waterfall will in general shadow the focal point where the principal waterfall medical procedure was played out, the waterfall causes a foggy vision since the light can't go through the viewpoint. Then again, after the laser makes an opening on the back of the eye, it makes a more clear vision since the light has the ability to ricochet through the opening despite the fact that the frontal part is obfuscated by the waterfall. As a rule, if a patient achieves 60 years or more, they will not have a waterfall laser medical procedure. Why? Since a large portion of them trust that when they subject their eye to a specific laser medical procedure, there is as yet a plausibility that it will form into a progressively genuine case that may cause them visual deficiency. They trust that on the off chance that they let it be contacted, the eye nerves and cells can never again work as ordinary. Now and again, the cells in the eye will never again recover causing visual deficiency over the long haul.

What makes LASIK safe?
LASIK utilizes propelled PC driven Lasiktechnology to reshape the cornea with minute accuracy. The high level of exactness and precision managed by this mix of technology’s guarantees understanding wellbeing.
Your individual life structures and vision are estimated in top quality detail amid the pre-employable assessment of your eyes. That information is then modified by the specialist into the LASIK stage to redo the treatment plan to your one of a kind prerequisites.
Technology first created by NASA to help mechanize the docking of satellites to the Space Shuttle is utilized by the LASIK stage to follow your eye developments – a great many times each second – enabling the gadget to alter as expected to guarantee appropriate use of the treatment.
Many patients are worried about moving amid the strategy. The World is (Still) Better Than You Think
Your mindset matters — now more than ever.
We are in the midst of a drug epidemic. The drug? Negative news. The drug pushers? The media. As I wrote in Abundance: The Future is Better Than You Think, we pay 10x more attention to negative news than positive news. We are being barraged with negative news on every device. This constant onslaught distorts your perspective on the future, and inhibits your ability to make a positive impact. In this blog, I’ll share new “evidence for abundance” -- charts and data that show the world is getting better. I’ll also share positive news and technological breakthroughs, all of which occurred in 2017 so far. Note: This isn’t about ignoring or minimizing the major issues we still face around the world. It’s about countering our romanticized views of the world in centuries past with data. My hope is that you’re able to see the world as it is — a world that is still getting better. My goal here is to help you protect your abundance mindset despite this barrage of negative news. If you have a negative-minded person in your life, forward this blog to them so they can look at the actual data. Let’s dive in...
1. Global Economy
The first area to explore is our global economy. Over the last 200 years, the world’s GDP has *skyrocketed* 100-fold. Humankind has never been more prosperous and productive.
World GDP Over the Last Two Millennia
The graph above depicts the economic output per person around the world over the last 2,000 years. Here we see exponential growth independent of war, famine or disease.
Technology drove much of this economic growth, and there’s no signs of slowing. Banking the Unbanked: One especially promising area of economic growth involves empowering the “unbanked” — the 2 billion people worldwide who lack access to a bank account or financial institution via a digital device. In September 2017, the government of Finland announced a partnership with MONI to create a digital money system for refugees.
The system effectively eliminates some of the logistical barriers to financial transactions, enabling displaced people to participate in the economy and rebuild their lives.
Refugees will be able to loan money to friends, receive paychecks and access funds using prepaid debit cards linked to digital identities on the blockchain -- without a bank.
Blockchain & Government: Governments are investing aggressively in digitization themselves. The small country of Estonia, for example, already has an e-Residency program. The digital citizenship lets residents get government services and even start companies in the EU without ever traveling or living there. In late August 2017, Kaspar Korjus, who heads up that e-Residency program, revealed the Estonian government’s exploration of creating an initial coin offering (ICO) and issuing crypto tokens to citizens to raise government funds. That same month, the Chinese government announced its intent to use blockchain technology for collecting taxes and issuing invoices. This builds on previous experiments China’s central bank is conducting with its own cryptocurrency.
2. Health
No matter where in the world you are, mortality rates have dropped precipitously over the last 300 years.
The following chart shows life expectancy at birth in various countries. Just 100 years ago, a child born in India or South Korea was only expected to live to 23. Fast forward to today, and India’s life expectancy has tripled. South Korea’s life expectancy has quadrupled, and now is higher than in the U.K.
Global Life Expectancy
Plummeting Teen Births: Another measure of a nation’s health is how it responds to preventable public health issues. Here in the U.S., teen births are down an impressive 51 percent over the last decade, going from from 41.5 births per 1,000 teenage girls in 2007 to 20.3 births per 1,000 teenage girls in 2016. I share the following graph because, by the numbers, teen girls who have babies will have a harder life than their peers who delay motherhood. As the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services notes, they’re more likely to drop out of high school, rely on public assistance, and have children with “poorer educational, behavioral and health outcomes over the course of their life than kids born to older parents.”
Since these statistics were first compiled in 1991, teen births have dropped 67 percent.
U.S. Birth Rates, by Age Group (1991 - 2015)
As exponential technologies continue to advance, we’ll see even more healthcare breakthroughs. Here’s a sampling from this year: Exponential Tech Impact on Health: Most exciting these days is the tremendous impact that exponential technologies are having on Health.
Robotics: Last month, a robot dentist in China successfully implanted 3D-printed teeth into a female patient’s mouth with “high precision.” The only human medical staff involvement was to conduct light setup and a pre-test. Imagine when such robots are in every healthcare facility on the planet, delivering service for the cost of electricity.
Virtual Reality: VR is also entering the operating room. In July 2017, University of Minnesota doctors used VR to prepare for a challenging non-routine surgery -- separating a pair of twins conjoined at the heart. Not only was the life-saving surgery a success, the VR prep gave doctors unforeseen insights that prompted them to accelerate the surgery by several months. It won’t be long until we refuse to have surgery completed by any human who hasn’t prepared in virtual reality using a personalized 3D model.
CRISPR/Gene Editing: Finally, in August 2017, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the first-ever treatment that uses gene editing to transform a patient’s own cells into a “living drug.” Kymriah, a one-time treatment made by Novartis, was approved to treat B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia -- an aggressive form of leukemia that the FDA calls “devastating and deadly.” The FDA is currently considering over 550 additional experimental gene therapies. What happens to our healthy human lifespan as these life-saving treatments demonetize and become universally accessible?
3. Environment
Thirty years ago, the world signed the Montreal Protocol to prevent the depletion of the Ozone Layer. Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) credits that agreement with preventing an estimated 280 million additional cases of skin cancer, 45 million cataracts, and 1.5 million skin cancer deaths between its signing in 1987 and the year 2050. Without the Montreal Protocol, the planet would have been about 4 degrees warmer by 2050 (...resulting in more extreme weather events like droughts, floods and hurricanes). As the graph below clearly depicts, the global annual death rate from natural disasters has plummeted over the past century.
Global Annual Death Rate From Natural Disasters
Why has this happened? It’s the impact of exponential technologies (satellites, sensors, networks, machine learning), which enable humans to better image, predict and model disasters. These models provide early warning systems, enabling citizens to flee to safety and for first responders to send supplies and food to remote areas in time. Drones & the Environment: Previously, animals were counted manually by researchers who had to spot them from helicopter or prepositioned camera footage. Now, a drone captures footage, the machine learning system counts different types of animals, and human volunteers help train the algorithm by verifying detections. Faster, cheaper, easier, and more accurate. And in Bengaluru, researchers at the Indian Institute of Science are fighting deforestation with camera-equipped drones that drop seeds in areas they otherwise wouldn’t be able to explore. Their goal is to seed 10,000 acres in the region. What becomes possible when thousands of teams — not simply individuals and a handful of research teams — leverage these tools to protect the environment?
4. Energy
A key measure of economic growth, living standards and poverty alleviation is access to electricity. This graph uses data from the World Bank and the International Energy Agency’s definition of electricity access, which is delivery and use of at least 250 kilowatt-hours per year in rural households and 500 kilowatt-hours per year in rural households. Simply put, more people around the world have access to electricity than ever, and the absolute number of those without access to electricity is dropping (despite population growth). Take a look at the chart below to see how various regions of the world are meeting their energy needs.
Share of the Population With Access to Electricity
As you see above, India has gone from 45 percent access to electricity in 1990 to nearly 80 percent in 2014.
Afghanistan has seen an even more dramatic improvement, going from 0.16 percent of the population in 2000 to 89.5 percent of the population in 2014.
As renewable energy sources become cheaper and more accessible, we’ll reach total electrification.
Here too, we’re making great progress. In 2016, solar power grew faster than any other fuel source for the first time ever. Around the world, solar prices are still dropping. The latest forecast from GTM Research reports prices of $2.07 per watt in Japan to $.65 per watt in India, with prices dropping across hard and soft costs.
Historical and Forecasted Utility PV System Pricing, 2013 - 2022E
In 2017 alone, we saw wind power become cheaper than nuclear in the U.K., with the cost of subsidies slashed in half since 2015. As the BBC reports, during the U.K.’s 2015 subsidy auction, “offshore wind farm projects won subsidies between £114 and £120 per megawatt hour.” Just two years later, two firms committed to a guaranteed price of £57.50 per megawatt hour. Looking stateside, the U.S. Department of Energy announced in September 2017 that utility-scale solar has officially hit its 2020 cost targets three years early — with generation costs of $1 per watt and energy consumption costs of $0.06 per kilowatt-hour.
US Commercial & Residential Solar Costs
5. Food
Despite the headlines, we’re making steady progress in the realm of food scarcity and hunger. This graph features World Bank data on the percentage of the population that has an inadequate caloric intake. Globally, 18.6 percent of the population was undernourished in 1991; by 2015, it dropped to 10.8 percent.
Prevalence of Undernourishment in Developing Countries
Time and again, technology is making scarce resources abundant. I’ve written about bioprinted meat, genetically engineered crops, vertical farming, and agriculture robots and drones. Two more examples from 2017 so far:
Human-Free Farms: In a 1.5-acre remote farm in the U.K., Harper Adams University and Precision Decisions recently harvested their first crop of barley. The twist? The farm is run autonomously. Instead of human farm workers, Hands Free Hectare uses autonomous vehicles, machine learning algorithms and drones to plant, tend and harvest.
Food From Electricity: Another big idea in the fight against food scarcity and undernourishment comes out of Finland, where researchers are creating food from electricity. The team, formed of researchers from the Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) and the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, have created a machine that runs on renewable energy to produce nutritious, single-cell proteins. The system is deployable in a variety of environments hostile to traditional agriculture, and future iterations will be able to produce food anywhere, from famine-stricken deserts to space.
Looking at the data, we truly live in the most exciting time to be alive.
And if your mindset enables you to see problems as opportunities, the future is even more exciting than the present.

The Daily Tulip
The Daily Tulip – News From Around The World
Tuesday 17th October 2017
Good Morning Gentle Reader…. Off to Malaga this morning to have the left eye cataract removed.. I have to admit that I am not as nervous as I was last week when I had the right eye done.. Vistaláser and its team of Doctors that will perform the surgery are all highly trained, as was shown last week and having many hundreds of similar cataract operations under their belts I feel I am in the best hands possible….
DOVER SOLE 'JUMPS' DOWN ANGLER'S THROAT IN BOURNEMOUTH…. An angler had to be resuscitated after accidentally swallowing a fish he had just caught. The man was kissing the Dover sole in celebration of his catch when the six-inch (14cm) fish wriggled out of his hand and jumped into his mouth, a friend said. The 28-year-old stopped breathing and suffered a cardiac arrest at the scene on Boscombe Pier, Bournemouth. Paramedics managed to remove the fish with forceps in an ambulance. Ambulance worker Matt Harrison said: "It was clear that we needed to get the fish out or this patient was not going to survive the short journey to Royal Bournemouth Hospital. "I was acutely aware that I only had one attempt at getting this right as if I lost grip or a piece broke off and it slid further out of sight then there was nothing more that we could have done to retrieve the obstruction." Mr Harrison said the fish's barbs and gills became stuck but he eventually succeeded in extracting it in one piece. He said it was the "most bizarre" call-out he had ever attended. Members of Boscombe Pier Sea Anglers performed CPR on their friend and before the arrival of emergency crews at about 23:00 BST on 5 October. Ian Cowie from the group said: "He was kissing the fish when it jumped down his throat. It's a tradition to kiss your first catch." Paramedics managed to restart the unnamed man's heart at the pier after working on him for three minutes. Mr Harrison said: "We're all so glad the patient has no lasting effects from his cardiac arrest, which could so easily have had such a tragic and devastating outcome."
LOVE RIVAL SET MILLIONAIRE'S £450K YACHT ADRIFT ON RIVER TYNE…. A "jealous" love rival set a millionaire's £450,000 yacht adrift on the River Tyne, having seen his girlfriend on board, a court heard. David Taylor, 54, saw 26-year-old Hannah Brookes with Michael Hay, 58, on his 60ft (18m) boat Coco. Newcastle Crown Court heard he then cut mooring ropes tethering the vessel to the city's Quayside in November 2016. Taylor admitted criminal damage and was sentenced to nine months in prison, suspended for 18 months. The court was told Taylor, from Trimdon Grange, County Durham, also cut loose another boat owned by Mr Hay, called Vortex. Mr Hay, a married father-of-two, was forced to call the fire brigade, the coastguard and the police to help get them to safety. He denied he was having an affair with Ms Brookes. Prosecutor Neil Pallister told the court that earlier in the same evening Taylor and Ms Brookes had been on a date at a pub. However, a row started and Ms Brookes left, only for Taylor to spot her car near to Mr Hay's boat. Michael Hay managed to get the engine of the yacht started after it was set adrift The pair saw him looking through a window as he stood on the pontoon and shortly after they realised they were drifting away from the shore. Mr Hay then saw Taylor next to his other boat and that too began to drift away. The court heard Mr Hay was able to start the engine on Coco and with the help of two police officers secure it to a jetty. However, the second boat Vortex began to float down the river, crashing into other vessels before being stopped by emergency services. Mr Pallister said almost £12,000 damage was caused to Vortex and £1,500 to Coco. Amos Waldman, defending, said Taylor had mental health problems and was currently unemployed. Judge Robert Adams said Taylor's actions had been "completely inappropriate". Taylor was also ordered to complete 200 hours unpaid work and pay £3,000 in compensation.
BREAKING BAD HOUSE OWNERS BUILD FENCE AFTER PIZZA STUNTS…. If you have seen the popular TV series Breaking Bad, you probably remember a scene in which Walter White angrily tosses a pizza onto his own roof. In the years since, fans have travelled to recreate the stunt, landing the real-life owner with hours of cleaning. The show's creator even stepped in in 2015, asking the pranksters to stop. Now the owner has reached breaking point, according to local media, building a 6ft iron fence to keep people, and their pizzas, out. In the programme, actor Brian Cranston chucks the pizza after his wife discovers his drug-dealing alter-ego and refuses to let him in the house. Frank Sandoval, who runs a local Breaking Bad tour company, told local news station Kob4 that he has had to climb onto the roof to pull pizzas thrown by tourists down. Joanne Quintana said her mother, the owner of the house, has had to deal with hundreds of people over the last few years trespassing, taking photographs and even attempting to steal rocks as souvenirs. "We feel like we can't leave because when we, do something happens and that's ridiculous," she said. The crime-thriller ended four years ago but creator Vince Gilligan scolded fans on a 2015 podcast about their behaviour while sightseeing. "There is nothing original, or funny, or cool about throwing a pizza on this lady's roof," Gilligan said. "It's been done before, you're not the first."
SAUDI ARABIA BANS 'NIGHTWEAR' IN SPORT STADIUMS…. Saudi Arabia's sports authority has banned anyone "inappropriately dressed" from entering stadiums or facilities. Since the ban was announced on 10 October, the hashtag "banning nightwear in stadiums" has been used close to 60,000 times on Twitter. The decision appears to be an attempt by Saudi authorities to stop men from wearing a loose, short-sleeved robe - a traditional indoor garment - in public. Social media users in Saudi Arabia were split in their reaction to the news. A statement issued by the General Sports Authority said Turki al Alshikh, who was appointed chairman by royal decree in September, instructed sports officials to refuse entry to "inappropriately dressed" patrons. "This is in light of the fact that football matches and some sports games are broadcast live and are watched by people of different ages," the statement read. "This requires people to appear in clothing that suits the nature of Saudi society and is in line with public decorum, and keep away from anything that violates this, including the wearing of garments that are not appropriate to appear in public places." Some on Twitter using the hashtag "banning nightwear in stadiums" shared images of people wearing the robe in public.
RAPPER B.O.B. RAISING FUNDS TO CHECK IF EARTH IS FLAT…. But US rapper B.o.B. is crowd-funding the launch of satellites to see if he can get some evidence to the contrary. The rapper, whose real name is Bobby Ray Simmons Jr, has been a vocal proponent of the Flat Earth theory - the claim the Earth is, in fact, a disc and not spherical. Some proponents of the Flat Earth theory claim NASA employees guard the edge of the world to prevent people falling off. B.o.B., real name Bobby Ray Simmons Jr, performing in the Radio 1Xtra live lounge. Seeking to raise $200,000 (£150,000) on the GoFundMe crowd-funding website, B.o.B refers to himself as "Flat Earth Bob". At the time of writing he had raised a little over $650, but the campaign was trending on the GoFundMe site. "I'm starting this GoFundMe because I would like to send one, if not multiple satellites, as far into space as I can, or into orbit as I can, to find the curve," he said in a video on the page. "I'm looking for the curve," he added. The curve which B.o.B refers to is a recurring theme in Flat Earthers' conspiracy theories. Adherents believe that, were the Earth actually round, then the curvature of the Earth would be more visible to the naked eye.
Well Gentle Reader I hope you enjoyed our look at the news from around the world this, Tuesday morning… …
Our Tulips today are close up and such a regal color....
A Sincere Thank You for your company and Thank You for your likes and comments I love them and always try to reply, so please keep them coming, it's always good fun, As is my custom, I will go and get myself another mug of "Colombian" Coffee and wish you a safe Tuesday 17th October 2017 from my home on the southern coast of Spain, where the blue waters of the Alboran Sea washes the coast of Africa and Europe and the smell of the night blooming Jasmine and Honeysuckle fills the air…and a crazy old guy and his dog Bella go out for a walk at 4:00 am…on the streets of Estepona…
All good stuff....But remember it’s a dangerous world we live in
Be safe out there…
