It's CA day today.. Chartered Accountants Day in India.. I'm an aspirant.. I'll be a CA someday.. Today is also Doctor's day.. My bestie will become a doctor someday..

All the 'brooding-over-the-future' aside, I came across this well known quote, completely appropriate for today –

I'm going to talk about the Wealth part of this... to-be-CA here...

Wealth doesn't necessarily mean being rich and having all the money that you need and some.. That is being rich.. Wealth, as per my opinion, is the substantiality and self sufficiency that money provides.. I think you shouldn't have all the riches of the world because you'll be more satisfied with limited but enough money rather than a pool of gold coins that you can never use up..

This reminds of the story where a man wishes for a coat from which you can pull put as much money as you require at a time, no matter how odd the amount of payment is.. I wish I had that coat..

Discovering the Old Bridge:

We headed to the Old Bridge, an iconic landmark in Tanjay City. Melvin had read about its historical significance and was eager to visit. The bridge, surrounded by lush nature, offered a breathtaking view of the river below.

Hey, since they basically screwed over Gork and Mork's followers during the Greenskin Slave Uprising of Zharr-Naggrund, do the Hobgoblins in Warhammer Fantasy have to worship Hashut now since I doubt Gork and Mork are in a forgiving mood?

I'm making a big assumption here, since I haven't found anything saying what gods (if any) the Hobgoblins worship, but my guess is that they just don't worship anything

Hashut is worshiped by the Chaos Dwarfs because he demanded souls in exchange for saving their race from the deadly mutations they suffered after the Great Catastrophe. He didn't necessarily "create" the Chaos Dwarfs, but brokered a pact with them---like how the Dragon Ogres swore to serve Chaos in exchange for immortality

But as far as I can tell, Greenskins either can't be corrupted by Chaos or they can't do anything for Chaos because they're immediately murdered by their fellow Greenskins. Knowing how notoriously back-stabbing Hobgoblins are, I doubt a Chaos-worshiping Hobgoblin would get very far

At the same time, I can't see why Hashut would bother with another species when he already has the Chaos Dwarfs dependent on him. Considering the Hobgoblins' role as slave-catchers and overseers, it doesn't sound like a good idea to empower them---because it was only because the Hobgoblins betrayed their own kind that the uprising failed. Supposing empowered Hobgoblins (literally) whip their subordinates into rebellion, they might wreck the Chaos Dwarfs like the uprising almost did

As for Gork and Mork, they'd probably despise the Hobgoblins for another reason: accepting subservience to the Chaos Dwarfs. "Roight an' propah gitz" take what they want, but the Hobgoblins BARGAINED. Greenskins in general (save for Savage Orks) don't actively worship because they know Gork and Mork don't answer prayers because Gork and Mork don't like cowards and only cowards ask for things. Supposing a Hobgoblin actually tried to give offerings to Gork and/or Mork, he'd either be ignored or get immediately "krump'd" on the spot

I don't see Sigmar, Ulric, Sotek, P'tra, the Cadai, the Cytharai, the Great Horned Rat or Nagash taking Hobgoblins as worshipers either, so I guess the Hobgoblins are truly "godless"

Slaanesh sees within Loec the ability to have their own Changeling, for the Elvin god has played tricks on both mortals and fellow deities. If only he could turn the Trickster God to his side...

Ereth Khial is another rival-lover of the Prince; Slaanesh is the father of her son, Nethu, a thing that came to pass after he ironically fell for one of her distractions in order to steal Elvin souls away from him. This wasn’t totally due to Slaanesh’s occasional distractibility, but a failed attempt by the prince to consume her after coupling with her. If Elven souls were delicious, then the soul of an elven god must be so one hundred fold, he reasons.
