Okay, I gotta admit I think I cheated a little bit. By the time I had finished Campaign 1, I had already heard rumors that Keyleth’s mom was alive. I was primed to catch the reveal, so I can’t claim credit. But damn it was super neat to know at the onset and recognize all the little things Matt inserted into the narrative to hint at her origins! 

Long game indeed.... hats off to you, Mr. Mercer.

So now Vokodo has a very angry druid to deal with, who has a family back on Tal’dorei who have no idea she’s alive and at the mercy of this morgoth for a quarter century.

So keeping up with C2 of CR and this island fun times where people lose their memory.

Now.. I’m only in on campaign one, but Vox Machina is currently on the air ship delivering the horn of orcus and there was the bandit raids where one half long bandit named teera gets a job on the ship.

She says she forgets how old she is. Remembers nothing but the island. I doubt this is connected but... Matt could have had this island planned for years with two different campaigns.

When the thing about Keyleth's mom came up I was a little disappointed I never finished campaign 1, but if I tried I would have never gotten to this point. Only one more ep and I'll be able to tune in live!
