In the B&C AU, how did little Branch go about taking care of big floofy baby Cooper?

Branch was already living where the other kids w/o families go, so he’d take cooper back w/ him. But from there he’d do a lot of the care baby cooper would need.

At first it was only bc coop wouldn’t really accept the actually caretakers since he bonded to branch (first troll he’d seen). But over time branch started to actually take joy from it. Caretakers would encourage this as branch seemed more receptive whenever he was with coop, as well as believing that perhaps cooper could perhaps rub off his silly happiness on branch.

Branch takes this responsibility very seriously. Making sure he eats a well balanced diet, stays active, and knows aaalllll about survival w/ some practical skills.
