If Billie spread cheating rumors and LG didn't believe C's pregnancy was his, I can see C saying 'you walk out of here and you'll never get to be in our lives ever again', and he does. C goes back to the Capitol with Sej, married him and becomes the president.

Lucius Gray getting a reputation in 12 for being obsessed with celebrity gossip, specifically the presidential family, because he always turns on the news to the celebrity gossip channel hoping for word of the Snows. He even subscribed to three different overpriced gossip rags, spending most of his money because of how expensive it is to send it to 12.

He's desperate to catch a glimpse of the twins. Whenever there was a picture or articles in the magazines he'd carefully cut it out and put it in a scrapbook.

One time someone said 'Honestly the way he's acting you'd think they were actually his kids', and LG just wants to run off into the woods. Because they have a point, it's Sejanus' name on the birth certificates and Sejanus at every birthday and milestone

Omg why this angst? 😭😭😭😭 It broke my heart!

... But yeah, in this scenario, I can totally see Lucius Gray heartbroken because he choose to believe his cheating ex and not the love of his life. And he regrets this forever, worst because the Snow's babies are his, you can see it miles away.

And in this scenario even Sejanus and Corinna are not really happy. Sejanus knew she married him for safery, so... In his mind, even if now Corinna says that she loves him and she is affectionate etc, he always doubt. "What if Lucius made different choices? What if he comes back to her? He is the father of the twins after all..."

And Corinna... I suppose she realizes that after all she had a crush on Sejanus all along, but the type of connection she had with Lucius Gray was something new and bigger; it burns her soul and the fact that he didn't belive her... All that talking about the stars and then he turns around while she was scared and alone... She is bitter but also she misses him so much.

So much angst!!! And for what!!! 😭😭😭😭
