After replaying life is strange I have no idea how anyone could think the sacrifice Chloe choice is the true ending

It makes the most sense to me thematically to sacrifice Arcadia bay- the whole story is about the relationship with Chloe, and how far max is willing to go! With the ending max finally makes a concrete choice that she can’t go back on and has to deal with the consequences!

There’s a whole essay in me somewhere about coming of age stories and this game but blah
