Tmw you kinda wait two weeks for an emotional reveal of a Mysterious Character (tml being actually an old character from the beginning of the original manga or an Edolas version of a beloved character, like it happened with Mystogan or something, and you get hit in the face with Ignia having canonically fucked. Lucy asked Natsu out first (Happy never fails to remind her of that fact) a few months after the gang came back from the 100 years quest;

Do I need to say that Natsu was giggling for the whole day after?

Because Lucy initiated the first date, Natsu made sure he was the one who proposed (he asked Gadjeel and regretted and Gray who had that point were already fiancés. I’ll let you guys imagine the ideas that came out of the brainstorm between the three);

Finally after a discussion (he got mostly yelled at) with Jellal and Luxus, he decided to bring her to Hargeon where they first met and asked for her hand there;

Natsu asked for Aquarius' blessing (because in my dictature, Lucy got the key back) before proposing to Lucy;

Career wise: Natsu became one of the most sought out mage in the kingdom and even overseas while Lucy became a very successful author;

Lucy stopped going on missions when she got pregnant with their first child Ignia a few months after the wedding, and from that point only concentrated on her writing career;

She published three other novels from that point and all of them did pretty well. The guild, of course, organised a book signing event for each of the releases.

Atlas Salamander Dragneel was born in the middle of the guild on a beautiful Thursday afternoon.

After months of following Polyussica's diet for a painless delivery, Lucy realized way too late that the diet worked way too well and she did not realize her water broke nor felt that the baby was coming;

Some would say such an eventful birth is an omen as to how the baby will be and they would be right because Atlas is nothing if not eventful;

For the first ten years of his life, if there was a catastrophic attack on Magnolia's flora, you could bet your house that he had something to do with it. The boy destroyed a mountain when he was barely 6!;

That is when Luxus start to get worried for his hairline;

Natsu is over the moon to have found a partner to accompany him on his bizarre adventures;

Natsu and Atlas are always sparring each other and they're keeping count. It is currently 124-2 for Natsu;

Lucy can't believe that someone who looks so much like her can be so different from her. Atlas cannot sit AT ALL and for the longest time, the parents had to team up with the city's authorities to give him a simplet haircut;

He's a very volatile person and he hates staying in the same place for a long time;

Him and Gideon are actually dangers to society;

Atlas is also very impulsive and also kinda have a saviour complex; He is always the one to come to help to another being, which is not bad but sometime he does it without thinking much about himself or the people who care about him;

He is very charismatic which is such a bad combo with his eclectic personality. He gets away with a lot such as the fact that he is a player;

Lucy and Natsu agree to let him leave on a two years long mission with Gildarts and Gideon when he turns 15;

The princess of the family! You can get a real-life target on your back if you even mispronounce her name;

After the nightmare that Atlas was, Lucy was so happy to have such a calm baby. Natsu is just really happy because Iggy is a carbon copy of him;

Happy's running joke is to look at Iggy and say something along the lines of "Oh my god Natsu, your hair grew so much";

Iggy grew with an overbearing dad, a very protective mom and a brother who was way too much into her business, that being said the rebellion period was to be expected;

It didn't last too long (Natsu thank the skies every day), she hates being in trouble too much. She mostly sulks when she's upset now;

She is best friends and teammates with Kairo Redfox and Silo Fullbuster;

Because both boys are very prone to partake in activities that result in broken bones and skulls, she has been tasked by Juvia and Levy to chaperone them at all times;

She is very responsible and a person you can count on always;

Whenever her parents leave for a mission or book tour, they very specifically put her in charge of her older brother;

Just My Thoughts Pt. 30

As we approach the end of FT 100 YQ (manga), I have a lot of expectations and hopes for a good ending that’s well thought out and developed. Right now we are entering into Ignia’s arc which is probably the most anticipated one of the series so far and I really hope it’s not disappointing. The other arcs were good not great in the sense that they could’ve been developed a bit more since some parts seemed rushed or underwhelming.

Starting off with Lucy, I think there is a lot that could be done with her. While there were some parts where she was displayed well such as the Star dress mix or her battles during Selene’s arc, I think that she should have the spotlight at some point. She is often used for fan service and I don’t really have a care for that but it undermines her intelligence and soft hearted personality. For instance, in the original series we have seen her come up with great ideas such as closing the eclipse gate, sacrificing Aquarius, and using fairy sphere. And not to forget, she was also the one to figure out where Mavis’ grave was located during Tenrou island arc. I don’t really recall any memorable aspects of the 100 YQ that can even hold a candle to these from the original manga.

Therefore, I truly believe she’s in a need to showcase her abilities especially her intellect way more. Perhaps a mini arc for her reunion with Aquarius (via finding her key) or some interaction with Ignia. I have wondered why 100 YQ has been accomplished in over a century and of course Agnologia has some part in creating fear but is that truly all there is too it’s incompletion? I am hoping for something a bit more complex. Maybe Lucy can figure this out. Maybe she can have a battle all on her own. She’s grown so much since the start of the entire franchise and I would love to see her fight against multiple opponents at once. No help from the others. I would also love to see more Star dress mixes or maybe a new development. She’s most definitely the strongest and most powerful celestial mage, even surpassing Anna who probably held that position for a long time.

Or she can find out more about who Ignia is. We know he’s Igneel’s biological son but what was their relationship like? How come Natsu didn’t know much about him? What are Ignia’s true intentions? What does he want with all of the mages with fire related magic abilities? I really hope the ending isn’t downplayed like the original story with END because let’s all be honest, it was so disappointing because where was the drama?! Everything that has been hyped up with showing END as this awful villain was not shown properly. I also think a connection back to Lucy’s fear of Natsu’s flames caused by Ignia would be interesting. I desperately need this to happen!

Anyway I’m getting off track but I just want Lucy to shine through her battle strategy, intelligence, and her amazing personality at least once before the end of the manga.

Lucy and Ignia to have screen time togetherrrr

I mean we had pretty much nothing between Lucy and Acnologia except her causing half of his death, but we also had nothing for her and Zeref. It’s really crazy when you think about just how impactful her family was to both of them yet we had gotten nothing.

Not to mention I think Ignia threatening Lucy and holding her as a captive could really do something for Natsu and her confessing. Even if Ignia states “you’re his lover” and she replies “yeah no sorry bud. I may like him but Natsu doesn’t feel that-“

Then all of a sudden Natsu breaks down the door “get your hands off my woman”

Doubt that part would happen but we need something. Lucy has all these big connections and yet no connection to them.

I think Natsu's panel was a bit random, Karamel could have said those lines without a problem, maybe something really happens to Lucy and because she had END's curse Natsu will feel something has happened to her?? (I JUST KNOW THIS IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN BUT A GIRL CAN DREAM OKEY??? LMAO)

Brandish will probably just make Lucy really big so Mer can't eat her or something. Basic af

I had this big theory that Ignia had Aquarius key, which would help nalu develop, but it was ruined with the whole key in the lacrima thingy, meh

i think alot of people in the nalu fandom are probably expecting a big love confession and kiss✨ from nalu when they finally confess their feelings…i just dont see this happening, or fitting either of their characters.

dont get me wrong i’d die for a nalu kiss but to think about either of them going out of their way to kiss the other, idk to me it doesnt fit their characters. natsu seems the most likely out of the two to initiate the kiss, but what would randomly lead natsu to kiss her?

i also dont think their love confession will come from one of them randomly deciding to confess their feelings, in my mind the best way for them to finally become something more than friends is through a gigantic push from an outside force.

let me explain, in the final chapter natsu tells lucy ‘we’ll be together forever’. the way i see it natsu doesnt FEEL the need to confess because, as he already belives, theyre both going to be together forever anyway so…whats the point?

i think natsu saying this will come back to bite him at some point, possibly during his final fight with ignia. i think the best way for them both to realise how much they truly love and appreciate eachother is by one or both of them being placed in a life of death situation, and i dont mean the typical fairy tail life or death situations, i mean never coming back.

if natsu were too see lucy in a true life or death situation, i believe it would cause some sort of awakening within natsu where he realises, maybe, they wont be together forever. this could cause natsu,(or lucy in a vise versa situation), to realise they truly do not see a life without the other in it, then leading to one, or both, of them outright confessing said fact during the fight, pushing their true power to save the other.

i really think the best way for hiro to begin the romantic change in nalu’s relationship is to introduce a situation like this, to cause a chain reaction in them both, leading to them realising and admitting their true feelings.

BUT, i’ll be happy with whatever. nalu are my absolute baby’s and i will be over the moon no matter how they eventually come together, to me this just makes the most sense :)💞

No I’m sorry I’ve tried to be supportive of it, I really have, but I hate the magic-girl transformation scenes. Lucy didn’t need 5 minutes to change into her new outfit. Wendy didn’t suddenly spend a bunch of time and energy into switching appearances so she can look like her new alter ego. It’s weird and boring and childish. And I hate Wendy in Irene’s clothes. They were on an adult before, but Wendy doesn’t need to have her chest out for the world to see.

At least when Erza did her requip stuff in the first season, the animation was cool! It focused on smoothness and impact! Both things that the hyq butchers. I haven’t actually watched Wendy’s full transformation, but I saw Lucy’s and it was terrible. Flashy, blotchy, low quality stuff that just made her look odd. The transitions were lazy and I expected more.

The Fairy Tail fandom doesn’t need more loser-points, but the hyq has just been adding them up. The EXTREME censoring of blood is BORING and INCONSISTENT. Because why can we watch Gray and Juvia kill themselves, blood and all, but we can’t see that Natsu’s fire when he ate Ignia’s fire, destroyed his arms. That he burned himself down to the bone, his skin practically peeled off. It didn’t need to be THAT graphic but don’t make him look all shiny and new!!! It’s insanely disappointing! I’m glad I’ve quit paying for a crunchyroll subscription, it’s not worth putting money into 1 episode a week that gives us the most useless shit.

  Even from where he was sitting, he could still smell the smoldering remains of the town below him, carried along by the wind. All he could see was heaps of rubble and scorched earth. His stomach clenched as he bit his lip, his hair hanging over his eyes.

  Natsu knew that he could be reckless and destroy towns sometimes… but even this was beyond devastating, even for him. The worst part was that he didn’t even remember doing it. He recalled facing the Water Dragon God, Mercphobia, and then Ignia appeared from the clouds above. He remembered eating his flames… but then, everything went blank.

  This wasn’t the first time something like this happened, either. A very similar circumstance happened before in another kingdom. He ate the flames of an Etherious demon, created by his older brother… and then, after momentarily incapacitating the monster, he suddenly turned on Lucy and Happy.

  It was just like before, when the sound of Lucy’s voice brought him out of the dark. That was the only thing he could remember… and how frightened she looked when he awoke.

  “Natsu?”

  Natsu glanced to his right at Happy, who blinked at him in worry with those big, round eyes of his eyes.

  “Are you okay?” the little Exceed asked, causing the Fire Dragon Slayer to quietly sigh as he stared up at the cloudy sky.

  “…Happy?” Natsu asked. “What was I like… when I ate Ignia’s fire?”

  Happy winced as he glanced off to the side. “Well… um…”

  “You can be honest with me, buddy,” Natsu spoke. “I can take it.”

  “…Okay,” Happy began, “the truth is, Natsu… you were scary. Like really scary. I haven’t seen you act like that since…” He trailed off as his fur bristled nervously. “Um… well… since…”

  “…E.N.D.?” Natsu asked as he stared off into the distance with a bitter look in his eyes, causing Happy to gulp.

  “Yes…” he muttered, causing the Salamander to grimace.

  In his mind, all around him was nothing but devastation and flames. His body was covered in scales. Huge wings and a tail burst from his back and horns grew from his head. His voice didn’t even sound human anymore.

  He remembered throwing Erza off of his back… gripping Gray’s head so hard in his clawed hands that his skull nearly cracked…

  And Lucy… there were tears in her eyes. Even while he was raging in his demon form, she didn’t hesitate to embrace him… to press her lips against his.

  It was the only thing she could do to calm him down.

  Lucy… he did something to her… he knew that he did.

Fairy Tail 100yr Quest Ch 170 Review!

im gonna be real i lowkey forgot there was a new chapter today only because its biweekly i get them mixed up.

i love this moment happy got with miss fortune how happy convinced her that ignia is the real bad person and not Fairy Tail. Natsu also didnt read the room at all

I will admit im kind of dissapointed that there wasnt any sort of fight but we kind of get the reasoning anyways as why we arent. Thats because Brandish didnt really want the key, I mean she still did since it was her moms first but she went on this whole journey so she can give the key to Lucy.

Lucy and Brandish are actually Besties and its really cute to see

For the last part of this chapter

Few things-

The first being we never really got the narrator type since GMG when it was at the end of the first part and we hear levy writing in her diary claiming that after day 5 of GMG that everything goes down hill and thats kind of what this gives vibes off too and we get the glimpse of it at the final 2.5 pages where we see Erza reacting to the giant Lacrima and then see the new Oración Sechs.

With the little narration im curious what is going to be written because in my head I immedietly think someone is going to die, who i have no idea. But at the same time this could just be like with the Levy situation they are just warning us about the upcoming war thats about to go down between Ignia the other dragons and the new Oración Sechs with Faris.

Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Review - Episode 7

I'm still surprised the Water Dragon God arc was resolved in 7 episodes.

But how??? If he's alive, I feel like his magic should still be in effect. They didn't explain it at all. Like, I think you could make up something about Ignia's flames being strong enough to burn away magic energy (that could also build up Ignia as a threat we know they have to face later, although it would give him a power they'd have to find a way to overcome).

Mercphobia being able to become a regular human and live with his people and Karameel was really sweet though. Fairy Tail got really lucky that they faced the chillest Dragon God first.

They couldn't even stand up to Suijin by themselves, so they're really going to need to improve before the next Dragon God if they're as terrifying and strong as they're made out to be. Natsu obviously has to improve before facing Ignia, but the others really need to start doing something (Lucy has done very little, give her something please).

Diabolos' guild hall is so emo. I'm sorry but I'm not threatened by you squeezing meat juice into your mouth. Look, even Skullion looks disgusted by their guild master. I'm still not into Diabolos. They talk tough, but I think they could get one shot by a Dragon God.

Yay, more Sabertooth screen time! Maybe the time spent on Touka previously is now going to be them trying to figure out what happened to Fairy Tail? I'd like that. I'm assuming the White Mage is headed to Guiltina to find Natsu and the others, since she knew they were fighting Suijin.

I also realized that Touka probably idolizes Natsu because he's renowned for being strong. She thinks he can save her from the White Mage.

It was nice to have some down time. The traveling bits were cute and fun. I did think Natsu and Wendy erasing the train tracks on the map was funny. They don't want to get motion sickness, guys!

The ending threw me for a loop. Is it a nail salon or could it be some kind of guild? There's probably going to be other versions of the Fairy Tail members which might be funny.

The next episode has to do with the Wood Dragon God, so I'm curious how this is going to tie in with that. I'm actually really excited to meet the rest of the Dragon Gods from what Mercphobia told us about them. (Moon Dragon God sounds so cool!)

So I've been overthinking something...

I'm been kinda obsessed with this for days. I hate the fanservice in fairy tail. This however feels different. Lucy's in pain but she's not embarassed or indignant. She's not bothered by the fact she's naked because you know... She's on fire. Yukino's reaction was very different than this. Honestly this almost feels like the canon acknowledgement of Lucy getting too used to constantly being sexualised.

And maybe, just maybe it's a little bit deeper than that.

The reason I think this might be significant is because it's so different than how Natsu imagined her.

Right now Natsu has his magic taken away and Lucy is basically in charge there. Not long ago he was worried and anxious to save her and now he's in a situation where he needs to be saved by her. And a situation that he thought would bother her and would need saving from is something she's now completely unphased by.

Back when Natsu wasn't able to reason with Yokai Lucy and Aquarius ended up being the one to bring her back, it really felt like Natsu and Lucy are not on the same page because when Natsu was affected by Ignia's flames Lucy was able to stop him. (I know I always bring that up but in my defence I'm kinda obsessed with that scene too).

Thinking back to that incident, Lucy was the only person who realised something was wrong with Natsu. But when Yokai Lucy pretended to be our Lucy, Natsu fell for it.

To me it really feels like Natsu needs some character development to be on the same level as her in their relationship. (I know that sounds weird but I don't know how else to put it.)

sorry guys i’ve been thrown into a fairy tail obsession recently after not touching the series since i was like 15 so bear with me💀

but after catching up with the series, there is genuinely no way that natsu wouldn’t feel guilty about burning lucy after his loss of control in 100yq chapter 20ish (idk the exact chapter my bad😕). like you’re telling me this mf who blames himself constantly for other people’s injuries and shit wouldn’t lose his mind over accidentally hurting his best friend?!?!? it doesn’t really make sense to me. like i get that this series isn’t really marked by tangible character development or critical conversations between characters but come ON!!!! you’re telling me he just jokes about it?!?! i KNOW that he can be written in a way that allows him to reflect on his actions, we’ve seen it before (most notably during the gmg+eclipse arc) so i just don’t understand why there wouldn’t be an internal conflict, even if it’s just about his demonic origin and its way of making him lose himself. like maybe i missed something because i didn’t fully reread the entire thing since i just don’t care about any of the new characters (i am only here to see what happens with nalu🫡gods strongest soldier of the slow burn war).

i am glad tho that the series is FINALLY expanding upon his “struggle” (putting it in apostrophes because it’s not exactly a full-blown struggle yet LMAO) because i always felt that there is so much more to natsu as END than was originally written ig. they’ve got this strong main character who has always been fighting for the good side who now has this massive connection to the strongest “evil” wizard in the series, obviously they can do sooooo much more with it… so im glad that it’s finally coming to light😋😋😋 and surely it comes back, it feels like lucy saying that “that was the first time [his] flames scared her” will surely come back into play when they eventually fight ignia again (which made me lose my mind btw😭 LIKE UR KIDDING THATS CRAZY). i’m hoping that lucy’s hesitance to join the fight in the most recent chapter (which.. yes is because it’s athena and lucy always forms super deep bonds with people lol love her) could also be a partial fear of seeing nat’s lose control again…. sorry yall I LOVE ANGST IN STORIES AND THERES SO KUCH POTENTIAL HERE… really hoping that the writers don’t drop the ball (this time…).

Just My Thoughts Pt. 31

What I want from Erza is the opposite of Lucy. Erza has been predominantly one of the strongest wizards in FT. From the get go, she’s been showing her power to the extent that she’s doesn’t have much to grow from that point. Maybe she can have a few new armors but that really won’t do much for her as a character.

Rather, in my opinion I think she should showcase the opposite. Something more feminine and soft and unrelated to battle. One thing that stood out to me from the end of the original story was how Erza started to comb her hair, something she wasn’t really into beforehand. I think that it has so much potential. She could spend time with Wendy and Lucy to be more girlie and just relax for once. I really like how she’s obsessed with strawberry cake which is so cute and wholesome.

Aside from femininity, I think she can have a filler/side story relating to her writing. She definitely thinks she’s good at it but others have expressed otherwise. So many going a little deeper into how she learned or why she thinks like that would be nice. Maybe she can have a little time with Lucy and Levy to further her own knowledge. I know that it’s a bit off and a smaller detail compared to major things in the series but I really like the concept of characters growing and bettering themselves.

And of course she needs some more development with Jellal. I am so glad he’s joining the guild. Since he’s technically going back to Fiore, I hope after the battle with Ignia there is some focus on their relationship. I really like how they have grown so much and are so perfect together. They have had a lot of success in adjusting their relationship from the tower of heaven which they were battling each other with the showcase of their backstory to the grand magic games where he failed to tell her his true feelings to the journey of his redemption. I think we have seen a lot and definitely worked out their tangent relationship so it’s time to get them together and stay together.

♥︎Hello! I dont have any complete thoughts on this topic yet so feel free to share your ideas with me on this one. I wanted to write something on it after seeing this! It got me thinking.

Something that I've noticed over and over again in the series is that Natsu gets referred to as a monster. . . a lot. Something else that I've realized is that when its said to him he outright rejects the idea every single time. It's obviously because Natsu doesn't like to be called a monster.

Something like that could've been overlooked in the first season but by the time we figure out that he's actually a demon it evolves into Natsu having to defend his humanity. He's weaker when he doesn't accept his demon side and he's also outright rejecting a part of him. Ignia also seems to mirror this since Natsu doesn't take on his dragon side either.

I don't think of this as Natsu rejecting his identity in the slightest. Instead I think of it in the other way around. As far as Natsu is concerned, he's not a demon, monster, or dragon. He's human. These other identities are all thrown onto him yet he has continued to vehemently rejected them all. The thing is that everyone else has a huge issue with him taking on that identity.

It begs the question as to why he's doing that. What does being human mean to Natsu? I don't have the answer to that. It may be something as simple as not wanting to become a monster but it also may mean that loosing his humanity means loosing himself entirely. This is simply a theory though, since Natsu says he doesn't remember anything when he's E.N.D. plus being a dragon means you'll loose your mind along the way too.

It's kind of poetic since it seems that everyone wants him to be this beast except himself. He's upset about these things yet everyone ignores it for the thin veil of their own desires. I feel that he'll take it on and then loose himself along the way. Everyone in the series has invoked this identity on him at least once. I wonder if the series really will end on him accepting this side of himself or everyone else accepting that thats not what he wants.

I really wish I had more to go off of but the recent chapters haven't given any insight to Natsu much at all. I do think it's strange that Natsu is so against it though. I just cant figure out why. If only Mashima would give us a chapter with his thoughts on the matter. . .

Gray Fullbuster is the Weakest Link Currently

THIS WILL HAVE SPOILERS FOR 100 YEAR QUEST!

I know what you are all saying, what about Happy and Carla? I am not counting the two cats, and I truly do wish those two would get a decent power up at some point. I am counting this on the fact of team Natsu characters, which include; Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Wendy Marvell, Erza Scarlet, Gray Fullbuster, Happy and Carla. As I stated before the last two I am not counting, but the other five are all up for discussion. 

AGAIN THERE ARE GOING TO BE SPOILERS BEFORE!

In terms of the group as a whole, they all have their greatest strengths and weaknesses, but there is one who sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the group. Gray Fullbuster. Not only does this go down to his magic and the difference in strength as of recent (I’ll get to later), but this also goes down to overall plot relevance even with the 400 year connection.  Each of the main set of the other characters have a set connection to 400 years in the past and the dragons, except Gray. I find this funny and it doesn’t really mean much but it is a detail I wanted to point out. Even Erza has a connection to Irene and was technically conceived all the way during the war. Then you have Natsu and Wendy who are obvious and Lucy with her connection to her ancestor and her mother who opened the Eclipse Gate. Gray has no connection, which I find unfortunate but there is not much that needs to be discussed there. On the other hand, there is the power difference and the plot relevance as of currently which is t he biggest hinderance to his character. I always adored Gray’s character from the beginning and felt sympathy for his character. His history with Lyon was always interesting and the pain he felt when he saw the old Ultear is still one of the harder scenes for me. His potential grew even more when we discovered who his father was and he gained the Devil Slaying Magic, meant to kill E.N.D who we found out was none other than Natsu, his best friend whether he would want to admit it or not. However, it is safe to say that as a character Gray has not grown at all since the 100 year quest began. The only thing that seemed to grow is his bond with Juvia (which is another issue I’ll discuss in the future). Its upsetting as there was so much potential for his character but each time his spotlight seems to be stolen away up until recently. He had nothing to show against the Dragon god of Water and most likely will not against Ignia, which you would think he would have something up his sleeve. Up against Selene’s minions he had nothing and when he could finally have his moment vs Wendy, Carla, and Happy it was stolen away. Until recently you could say his battle with the member of Gold Owl, but even then it was interrupted by nonsense with Juvia. I can’t think of any recent battles Gray has had that wasn’t interrupted by something with Juvia or another character when he finally had his chance to shine, but maybe my thoughts are just blurry. My biggest issue is that everyone has grown. Wendy has of course as well as Natsu who of course does because he is the center character. Lucy is basically one of the strongest Celestial Wizards Fiore has ever known and Erza... well she is Erza and so is always going to have a new armor up her sleeve. Meanwhile, Gray has nothing. He has his Ice Devil Slaying powers, but we have had nothing to show it. We have no history on Devil Slayers to know how strong his potential is. We have hardly any demons as it is. In fact, there are only three known users of Devil Slayer Magic. The other two are dead, who were Silver and Bloodman from the final season. There has not been a mention of another user let alone any without the ice as its main element.  There is so much potential for Gray and yet he falls behind the group due to the writing being so focused on Dragons. I know Gray will always have Juvia and Juvia will always have Gray but it would be nice if they both had their scenes to shine, or at least give them a boost of strength.  Anyways, let me know what you guys think. I’m curious about your current thoughts of Gray Fullbuster and the Devil Slayer dilemma. What are your ideas to fix it?
