I think all Stricklake fans would have loved that tbh... Sigh, I'm a little mollified that the end of the movie made a point to show that Jlaire and Stricklake would still happen, but Stricklake should have been married and Jlaire engaged at this point though. 😭

Regarding your question, I feel for Strickler and Barbara it would be Strickler to propose, but he'd be SO nervous and expecting rejection, even if he knows that would not happen.

Jlaire proposal: DEFINITELY Claire. In no universe is Jim going to ask her first, and Claire is NOT waiting another two or three years for Jim to work up the courage.

And for Toby and Darci, probably Toby. He's confident in his and Darci's love, and she says yes instantly.
