School of Roses Forms Alliance for Agriculture-Welfare Collaboration
The Partnership for Agriculture-Welfare Collaboration
The School of Roses, known as Nakai Rose Farm, has established a business alliance with the Rehabilitation Support Center, marking the third collaboration between agriculture and welfare at Bara no Gakko. This partnership aligns with Bara no Gakko's key policy of promoting agriculture-welfare collaboration and aims to create opportunities that match the interests and abilities of individuals. Edible Rose Cultivation and the Tsunagaru Academy During the edible rose season, which extends until October, a dedicated team of 3 to 5 individuals, including staff from the Tsunagaru Academy, engage in daily cultivation activities at the edible rose field located in Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture. The Yamagata Prefectural Agriculture and Welfare Collaboration Promotion Center, operating under the Welfare Division for Persons with Disabilities, Health and Welfare Department, provided support for this collaboration.
The Role of the School of Roses
Rose School Co., Ltd., based in Tateyama City, Chiba Prefecture, has formed a business partnership with the Rehabilitation Support Center in Higashine City, Yamagata Prefecture. The School of Roses plays a vital role in connecting the Rehabilitation Support Center to the cultivation of edible roses in Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture. This collaboration focuses on promoting the inclusive participation of individuals in agricultural activities. Empowering Through Agriculture-Welfare Collaboration The Tsunagaru Academy, a part of the Tsunagaru Rehabilitation Support Center, is responsible for the actual work involved in cultivating edible roses. On weekdays, approximately 3 to 5 users, accompanied by staff members from the Tsunagaru Academy, engage in rose cultivation activities at the field in Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture. Additionally, future indoor tasks related to the sixth stage, such as sorting and drying petals, will be explored.
Spreading the Message of Agriculture-Welfare Collaboration
The School of Roses serves as a supporting member of the Consortium for Supporting Agriculture and Welfare Collaboration. In addition to the "working side" of agriculture-welfare collaboration, the School of Roses actively promotes the "spreading side" by appointing diverse human resources to address social issues, including income generation and improving overall well-being. The Significance of Agriculture-Welfare Collaboration Agriculture-welfare collaboration is an initiative that empowers individuals with disabilities to participate in society with self-confidence and a sense of purpose through active engagement in the agricultural field. This collaboration not only creates employment opportunities and purpose for individuals with disabilities but also addresses the shortage of workers and the aging population in the agricultural sector.
Agriculture-Welfare Collaboration in Yamagata Prefecture
Supported by the Yamagata Agricultural and Welfare Collaboration Promotion Center, the School of Bara Co., Ltd., comprising non-farmers, is dedicated to solving social issues by utilizing the added value of agriculture that only non-farmers can recognize. The company actively engages in agricultural-welfare cooperation and smart agriculture, aiming to improve the income of farmers and extend healthy life expectancy through sustainable edible rose production, processing, and sales. Unlock the Power of Collaboration: How GBE Collective is Transforming African Economic Development
In a world where economic challenges and social disparities still impact communities of African heritage, there’s a new wave of transformation on the horizon. This movement is about bridging gaps, creating opportunities, and empowering black-owned enterprises across the globe. Introducing GBE Collective – a thriving global business network that connects individuals of African descent in the diaspora with business affiliates across Africa, America, the UK, Brazil, and the Caribbean. If you’ve been searching for a community that uplifts, supports, and drives real change, then GBE Collective is the place for you.
The Power of Unity: Why We Need GBE Collective
Many people of African descent face unique challenges when it comes to entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and building sustainable businesses. The barriers are often systemic: limited access to funding, lack of networking opportunities, and the absence of platforms that understand the cultural nuances of our communities. These challenges can make it difficult for black entrepreneurs to thrive, especially in a competitive global market.
But what if there was a solution? A space where black-owned businesses are not only supported but also celebrated. A network that provides the resources, connections, and mentorship needed to break through barriers and achieve economic success. This is the mission of GBE Collective.
What is GBE Collective?
GBE Collective (Bridging Africa to the Diaspora) is a global business network dedicated to empowering individuals of African heritage by fostering business connections across continents. Our community is designed to connect entrepreneurs, professionals, and change-makers, providing them with the tools and opportunities needed to excel in their ventures. We’re not just another networking group; we’re a movement committed to economic resilience, job creation, and the promotion of black excellence.
- Empower black-owned enterprises by providing access to vital business resources and strategic partnerships.
- Foster job creation and economic opportunities through collaborative ventures and innovative projects.

GBE Collective isn’t just a network – it’s a transformative force that’s redefining the way we do business, both within Africa and across the global diaspora.
Overcoming Common Challenges Faced by Black Entrepreneurs
Let's face it: the journey to entrepreneurial success can be daunting, especially when you're navigating it alone. Here are some of the most pressing challenges faced by black entrepreneurs – and how GBE Collective is uniquely positioned to address them.

GBE Collective fosters trade within Africa and the Caribbean by connecting you with key players in these markets. We are committed to advancing intra-African economic development by linking African entrepreneurs with corporate entities to drive positive transformation. Our network supports you in overcoming trade barriers and accessing new markets, ensuring sustainable growth for your business.
