CACTI!! The bunny ear stabbed me on the way home lol
I love them both so much tho!!! I've wanted these ones since like. Forever so I was so happy to find them<3 after their quarantine I'll probably repot them? Maybe? Idk we'll see
Anyway I only have one cactus and a baby of the same family so these are kinda my first actual cacti :) (not that I don't LOVE my Easter and Christmas cacti<3)

36 DAYS OF TYPE - Archive - 2021 - A to C
For 2021, the theme I created for myself for 36 DAYS OF TYPE was plants (for the letters) and fungi (for the numbers). For the letters, the letter appears either as the first letter of the common name or the scientific name of the plant.
Sadly I cannot find notes of what all these plants may be - B is definitely Bunny Ear Succulent Cactus, will update as I find out more (as there should be a spreadsheet SOMEWHERE)

#hi. i think this edit is almost done#well. no. it IS almost done. probably gonna finish it tomorrow#i really want to do some writing today but will i?#i think i need to join like. a writing group or something bc i suck at self motivating but#idk. sounds scary. so. probably not.#i wouldn't know where to find one anyway & if i did. i probably wouldn't interact much.#i'm one of those doesn't speak unless spoken to people tbh#n e way. i've been really into my plants lately lol#my lil round cactus is growing fruits!!!!#it's never done that before so i'm hoping to save the seeds & try growing them myself. gonna set up a terrarium#& my haworthia is looking significantly better than it was before#it was all sunburned & sad but now it's very green!!! & happier!! i think i need to water it today#my desert rose however....... needs work. i don't think i know how to take care of it very well.#i looked up care instructions & it said to keep the soil moist but also to let it dry out completely so??? idk that's a lil confusing#i'm gonna put it in a more gravelly soil & see if that helps#i also propped my bunny ear cactus bc it was getting all droopy & heavy so#now i'm gonna have baby cacti!! so exciting#rainyrambles

well my life is shrinking to the size of my room. who wants to see my favourite leaves in my plant collection. okay first one is a silver pothos i love the pattern it looks like it’s always been rained on or maybe it’s wearing jewellery the second one is a ruby rubber tree if she was a person she’d be beautiful she’s going to be like 8 feet tall someday and i’ll dedicate a whole room to matching her colour scheme when i get my own apartment

call my kalanchoe theseus´ ship, the way it doesnt have a single one of the leaves it had when i first got it *tiny sob*
#aaaaaaa its been dropping leaves a lot more since the oil incident :(#i hope it doesnt die or im gonna be real sad :(#also a leafcutter ant got to it at one point and got a healthy leaf; still mad at it >:(#shut up sheo#wannabe botanist failing at life lmao#AND THE NEIGHBOUR´S CAT KEEPS TOPPLING OVER ALL MY OTHER PLANTS AGHH!!#im so mad at them!!#i have 9 plants i believe#2 dying kalanchoe#2 pothos (that i have in water)#2 succulent propagations i a yet to identify#a golden barrel cactus#a bunny ear cactus#a haworthia#and a blue torch cactus#out of those the only ones who ive had smooth sailing with are the pothos#bc the blue torch got mites; which prompted me to spray it and all my other plants with neem oil#everyone else was fine but my kalanchoe started dying#and as soon as it wasnt dying as much a leafcutter ant bit a chunk of a healthy leaf off and its back to dying again ToT#then my golden barrel; bunny ear and haworthia were also doing well; until the neighbours cat used the place i put them in as a staircase#toppled em over 3 times in a row and the bunny ear cactus especially did not like that#then my succulent propagations were in a completely different place from the rest of y plants#but the cat *still* found them and pissed on them >:O!!!#aghhh bite bite bite bite bite#anyways silly vent and also i love my plants <3 hope everyones having a great day :D!!!!

i LOVE him!! he looks so amazing and healthy. you must love him very much.
This is my Neon Pothos (porthos) whom I got in like early April I think. He was my first leafy plant and I'm hoping to repot him so he can start crawling out. he has way more leaves now and more marbling colors as well.
This is my heart leaf philo! we definitely struggled to find her best lighting spot but she now live happily on the shelf by my room and watering her has become one of my favorite things. she's also been popping new leaves since July and that's been such a relief since I was really worried about her at first. but here she is with fuller leaves and great colors!
This is Bobby, my swiss cheese vine. He's VERY durable and has fallen off a shelf I hung very poorly twice. he's been growing like crazy and I also need to repot him soon so he can really thrive
and THIS!!!!! is the new plant I got today! she's a blushing philo that I've named Henrietta, Henri for short. we'll see how she does! I'm putting her with my heart leaf so she doesn't feel stressed being in a new environment
I was looking at pictures of my plants when I first got them verses how they look now and I'm honestly so happy to see how much they have grown. My swiss cheese vine is so tall and pretty. My heart leaf philo has dozens of new leaves and is spilling off her shelf. I got a new plant today and I hope I can see her grow too
#i also have two cacti and an aloe!#the bunny ear cactus though I'm thinking im gonna give to my coworker since I don't have a ton of room for him#i feel bad so i kept one of his ears to propagate#im also propagating my old baby sun rose we'll see how that goes#i cannot get over how happy your plant looks!!!
