Anyone remember buildabearville.com? I loved it so much. I used to play on it with a friend who moved to another state, we would get on our moms' phones or skype and chat for hours! I never fully decorated all by bears' rooms, though I wish I could go back and do so! A team at bearville rewritten is slowly finding old cache stuff from people's computers from the og game and bringing it back! I'm so excited to see where it goes!! I wish I had my old computer that I used to play it on so I could help. I had like 30+ bears in my condo and ik they're special items would've been a good help. I'm still friends with the girl I used to play the game with on social media. Whenever the rewrite is complete I'll probably send her a message and see if she wants to play for old times sake. We're both out of high-school know and doing normal things with our lives, I wonder if she'd be interested in going down memory lane��

that online games poll is unlocking MEMORIES i forgot all about animal jam. apparently you can still play it but you have to download it. buildabearville shut down in 2015 :( i think i played it from about when it opened to like 2010 or something i dont remember when or why i stopped. i do remember begging for the memberships and my parents pretty much never capitulated to my whining

Activity sets to do with your bear! I am eyeing the treasure box one, as it looks the most fun. I'm curious if there are recipes in the tea set though.

1 - minecraft, specifically the xbox 360 edition. i've put so many hours and even years into several creative worlds with my cousins and little sister, it means a lot to me.

2 - pokemon alpha sapphire. my first ever pokemon game! i have a torchic plush i bought when i was like 11 because it was my starter <3

3 - animal crossing new leaf. new leaf has been a big part of my life for a while now, and i even have a town still running to this day (sorry for not checking in often, isabelle...). felicity was the first villager i grew attached to, and my baby 10 year old self was devastated when she moved out.

4 - bendy and the ink machine. some kids had a fnaf phase, i had a bendy phase. batim was the first mascot horror to really hook me, and it was a fixation of mine for quite a while.

5 - buildabearville. my first virtual world, and one that's a little obscure? i miss it with every passing day, and i hope someone gets a rewritten project up and running for it eventually. i used to listen to the like 2 cody simpson songs on the playlist that was built in. the bearville songs still go hard though; magic bear world and be beariffic will never not be bangers.

You are so correct here. It's why I kind of dislike how BAB is progressing. It's been downhill since the death of Buildabearville.

Okay I got bored and I’ve started thinking about how the newer build a bear workshop store design is a great example of why minimalism, and or trying to have this “modern design” is just killing creativity let along feel corporate
