COLORS: Each flannel is unique, and no two shirts are going to look exactly alike. Colors are sent at random. Because the colors often change throughout the bleaching process, I cannot take specific color requests for these shirts.

CONDITION: All of our flannel shirts are brand new and washed twice.

Care instructions: Turn item inside out, machine wash cold, no bleach, no softener. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. Air dry is recommended.

So many signs, so many things that come to mind.  The universe works in mysterious ways and sometimes, you are blindsided by it.  I have been sick for the past 10 days now, off work, per doctors orders sick.  And I think this is called a spiritual shift? because while sick, I can’t stop thinking about my Wiccan path... How for the past 3 months, I have been teaching my youngest daughter what I know and for some reason, I just think this is a shift.   I really started to feel this  when I went to White buffalo spiritual healing and gifts, in Anoka, MN...  First, I got so much anxiety before going to this place but knew I wanted to go there and experience it.  I knew this would be a wonderful source of knowledge and witch supplies.   I felt so calm, so comfortable, so serene when I was in this shop.  I knew things, I saw things, I met Thor the beautiful white dog that greeted us when we arrived.  It just felt all right.  I connect with the cashier and she was so in tune with me and I to her... It was magically, literally.  And the spiritual shift got so much stronger after that visit.  The day went great, started feel better, in the sickness area... Sunday went better, but then Monday came and I went back work... And about an hour into the day, I started to feel the sweats again, the cough came back, the chills, the aches... the stuffiness... The miserable feeling sick.  I pushed through the day and went home to my husband worried because he said, I was so pale and looked worse than last week.  hmmm...is the work environment?  I explained to me the day and he was just baffled.  I went into the doctor on Tuesday and got on meds for asthma exasperation and bronchitis, with an upper respiratory infection, the meds are helping me feel better but I mostly think it is because I can focus on healing me and not worry about that job.  Not a bad job but not what I want to do anymore and I think that is where the problem lies...  I just know there is more out there for me..  I can do more and I some times, more now after this spiritual shift, feel like I am wasting my time at this job...  I know that is not the best thing to be feeling ... but can’t deny the feeling either.  I just know that there is more for me, my witchy path is guiding me to where I need to be, where I can thrive and be happy in what I do.  For that, I am grateful.

Single Review: “Under The Rainbow” by Cursive

Cursive hasn’t been totally absent from the music realm, though it has been quite some time since the group last released a record; vocalist Tim Kasher focusing on some other projects since the release of their seventh studio album back in 2012. Six years is a long while for any band to go without offering up new material, but perhaps it was necessary for what is to come, as it allowed events around the globe to play out and provide ideas for Vitriola (due to be released on October 5th via 15 Passenger), which is shaping up to be a socially and politically charged record. It also seems as if it will usher in a return to the form to Cursive’s early days with material rooted in primal emotions that aim to get people to assess the state things. The second single from the upcoming album is a prime example of that, “Under the Rainbow” being electrifying as it attempts to remove the veil from the eyes of people who still have their vision restricted.

“The one percent live in high rises. They block out the sun for all the denizens under the rainbow…” That first verse instantly sets the tone of the track that illustrates the vast differences between the wealthy and elite and the droves of people that do whatever they can to make ends meet, probably even struggling while trying to get by. And cleverly at that, using the rainbow to represent unlimited possibilities that are just out of reach for those on the ground. Right off the bat “Under the Rainbow” highlights the clear differences between the average citizen and the privileged few and only adds to it from there, Cursive pushing the narrative that they are the ones in charge of creating and implementing rules, every single one done to favor their interests, and all the while most go on oblivious to those facts. Possibly because they’re unaware of the true power those people wield, or maybe it’s blissful ignorance, wanting to believe that the control isn’t as one-sided as it really is. It’s definitely a political song, though it pulls it off without ever displaying any sort of partisanship. Rather, it comes from the perspective of a person completely disillusioned with the entire structure of power, additional verses attesting to that. (“…Boy, I shook myself awake so long ago… We’ve been fed lies, we’ve all been duped. And we don’t want to know the truth…”.) It’s written exceptionally well, the blunt remarks and primal emotions painting a bleak picture, one where the average person has been left to fend for themselves, reality diminishing their hopes and dreams as they’re left feeling isolated from those they entrusted with the ability of acting in their best interest. The result is someone who has become jaded and outright angry. Kasher embodies that persona. At times it’s more of an underlying component, though he is constantly seething, at times even channeling his frustration by shouting the lyrics, as if mourning the promises that have been broken, those of an idyllic world where everyone has an equal voice and gets a fair opportunity. The song is similar to those of Cursive’s earliest works, though they’ve brought in the refined sound they’ve honed over the last couple of decades or so. Because of that “Under the Rainbow” possesses somewhat of a DIY quality but with a polished flare. It’s brash demeanor hints at some punk rock influences, the guitars frequently being bold and chaotic, while the percussion hits like a jackhammer. At the same time, their indie rock flare is also present, yielding a track that offers the best of both worlds, the intricacies of it pairing well with the fact that it’s a force to be reckoned with. It’s still too early to tell, though Vitriola seems to be shaping up to be the strongest release from Cursive in years, if not ever. One that’s presumably going to be rooted in the plights faced by the modern human being, of which there is a rich trove of subject matter to draw upon. If so, then that would be a perfect album for the times we’re in thanks to evolving technology and rapidly changing societies; and if the other songs can live up to the standard that has been established so far then it will be a serious contender for album of the year. No two shirts will ever be exactly alike so please aware and embrace the differences. All shirts are carefully curated, hand-dyed, and re-purposed so that each shirt is going to be different from the next in terms of color and plaid print.

SIZING: These shirts vary, many are unisex and come in men's sizing. They can be worn by both men & women. Ordering your normal t-shirt size is recommended for a regular fit. Going 1 size up works well for a baggy/oversized fit. Women's or Children's Specific sizing will be noted on the photo/variation options selected.

FABRIC: All these shirts are made of cotton or a cotton/poly blend. Measurements and thickness vary slightly by brand.

COLORS: Each flannel is unique, and no two shirts are going to look exactly alike. Colors are sent at random. Because the colors often change throughout the bleaching process, I cannot take specific color requests for these shirts.

CONDITION: All of our flannel shirts are brand new and washed twiced.

Care instructions: Turn item inside out, machine wash cold, no bleach, no softener. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. Air dry is recommended.

Due to different picture lighting settings the actual color might vary a bit from the pictures.

Current Turnaround Time due to upcoming Holidays - 1-5 Business Days. While we always use priority shipping options, once shipped we cannot guarantee delivery due to the backlog current being experienced USPS/UPS/FedEx.
