I would like to say I don’t think of neymar when thinking of Brazil
I think of a volleyball player, I don’t know if he’s well known, he’s called bruno mossa de rezende
Oh yeah! He’s very well known, his father, Bernardinho, is the coach of brazilian male volleyball team.
It’s nice to know someone thinks of someone else, I can’t stand Neymar. Honestly, I only watch futball when there’s world cup, but he lost his ability to play within the years, it’s quite sad tbh

...Then, I arrived in Modena, where I was Bruno, not just Bernardinho's son. Modena changed my life: here I felt everybody's affection, and I understood who I am as a player and as a person.

“In 2007, when Bruno was selected as part of the Brazilian Volleyball National Team, he faced two immense mountains to climb. The first one was to convince everybody that he hadn’t been selected just because he is the son of the coach, by the way, the world’s best coach. The second one was to measure up to Ricardinho, the world’s best setter, the one who revolutionised modern volleyball by playing at a speed which had never been seen before. <<There have been very difficult moments, like back in 2007, when I was lined up inside the Maracanazinho, where we would win the Olympic gold 9 years later, and half of the crowd was chanting Ricardinho’s name. That was one of the hardest moments of my career. I haven’t probably reached the level of Ricardinho yet, however I showed that I deserved that spot. I walked this path alone; I didn’t even talk to my father about it, because that seemed a weakness to me. Then, I arrived in Modena, where I was Bruno, not just Bernardinho’s son. Modena changed my life: here I felt everybody’s affection, and I understood who I am as a player and as a person>>.”
Bruno Mossa de Rezende, interviewed by Andrea Zorzi for VcomeVolley, Gazzetta dello Sport.

Disclaimer: Obviously, the translation isn’t literal nor perfect, as it’s almost impossible to translate many Italian idioms (unless you’re a professional translator whom I am not). However, the translation is still as close as possible, keeping the actual meaning of the players’ words.
