Gym mirror-selfie with Brooke and Joe - Brooke sewed her sports bra and leggings from some spandex she got, and she’s begging Joe to let her make/buy him a new workout shirt since the one he has on is getting too small, but he wants to be able to rip it when he flexes like the Incredible Hulk lol.

Everyone has a teen drama that is such trash that it makes every other teen drama look like Picasso in TV form.

Like I hear way too many people call One Tree Hill "trash" but I have to wonder if those people have seen Dawson's Creek or especially Riverdale. I can't see One Tree Hill as trash cause I have seen REAL trash!

BTW I'm sorry to Dawson's Creek. I feel like a traitor cause I adore Pacey Witter and the relationship between Pacey and Joey but ever since watching One Tree Hill I just can't see Dawson's Creek the same way. There's just no excuse for the way they wrote characters to be so unlikable, absolutely refused to write two women having a completely healthy friendship, the way that they had strengths and found ways to bury every single strength most of the time and specifically wrote to the trash aspects, the way they mistreated the few black characters in that show. Not that One Tree Hill was the most diverse but compared to Dawson's Creek it was. In Dawson's Creek they had about three black characters all of whom they wrote off for no apparent reason and the actors were very upset with how they were being written off (Did the writers listen to them.... no in fact when Obba Babatunde went to the writers and expressed his concerns... they just shooed him off and told him they were gonna do it the way they wanted to).

And i'm not saying that One Tree Hill is perfect. It was created by and largely written by an evil trash weasel man so there's bound to be some trashy aspects but just speaking in general terms... there's a lot more redeeming qualities about the finished product. They elevated the great characters (of which there were many) including but not limited to Nathan, Brooke, Haley, Peyton etc. If they saw that a dynamic was beloved then they wrote to it. Like Haley and Brooke, Nathan and Haley, Brooke and Peyton etc. They added a ton of great side characters who then became main characters when they realized the gold that they had... like Skills for instance. And the actors elevated the writing and sometimes turned the trash into gold. The actors were great, with the major exception of the creator they had some great writers in the writer's room, they had some great female directors, and some of the actors got many chances to direct.

Though I will say that Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams really turned a lot of trash into GOLD in Dawson's Creek. They didn't always have much to work with but they spun it into gold.

I will also say that Riverdale makes Dawson's Creek look like Picasso in TV form lmao
