@chasingrainbcws is a beautiful writer who portrayal of Charlie is so spot on to me. I love interacting with them and seeing their interactions of Charlie, especially with Lucifer. The vibe they have for their character is absolutely perfect and they’re incredibly kind in general.

@shiningxfates is so much fun to talk to! They’ve been drowning me in such beautiful plots with our two muses and I love talking to them so much. Their Alastor is incredibly fun to interact with and I love the way that they portray them! It brightens my day to scream at them so much about our two muses and I hope they really have as much fun as me with the little world we’re developing together. They’re such a kind person.

@diistortion I’ve screamed about them a lot already so just absolutely a beautiful artist, incredible writer and fantastic development of their character. Everything is just amazing. The fact they humor me and Michael so much just makes me want to scream. Very patient and kind mun.

@brokendreamscreation a very silly character with a lot of depth to them and thought out lore. I really do enjoy trying to understand Lucid and make him fit into Michael’s world. They’re getting there, I think, just gotta break the two of them a bit! But Soul is a very kind person who throws so much musings stuff at me and humors my silly antics. 🐠 why i love (or hate) this hobby

5 reasons why i love this hobby:

i get to interact with passionate writers who love their muse to the heavens above!! i genuinely love seeing that on my dash because it inspires me to write when i'm suffering from writer's block and it also helps boost my creativity ^^

i think my writing got better?? ngl i'm still trying to find my own writing style and be flexible about it but i'm just glad most of my moots like the way i write since that's like my number one struggle when portraying frost

i like that you mutuals are really patient with me!! even when i'm gone for long periods of time due to my personal life and i haven't replied to a thread or a ask. that takes the pressure off my shoulders A LOT so i thank you all because my writing really does flow better when i take my time ♡

the amount of engagement i get when people send anons or my mutuals sending IC one-liners from prompt/meme and leaving a nice comment to brighten up my day on a OOC post. little things like that make me twice as excited to roleplay on here

when i see someone who struggles with anxiety interact with me. i mean, i suffer from social anxiety so i know it's really hard to talk to newer muns for the first time but it makes me super happy to see my mutuals are getting comfortable interacting OOC

the best thing about my year was that more people wanted to interact with my version of KF even when she strayed away from canon. it's good to see everyone here is open to my interpretation of frost without being too judgemental about it because i changed certain things in her canon that didn't suit my taste as much. oh, and the fact nobody takes it personally when frost is being a total asshole because i always worry about offending someone irl but i'm 100% glad that never happened 😭😭

🖼 my favorite types of characters

i always lean into the villains more than the heroes. that's not to say i have a distaste for heroes or anti-heroes because i do love them!! but i'm always pulled into the dark side because villains are so real to me?? don't get me wrong because i'll NEVER excuse their actions but it's how they interact with their environment or other people in their life that's so fascinating to watch. plus, their overall aesthetics and fashion taste is so good for no reason.

i also noticed that my favourite characters tend to be blue and sexy with a cold personality. take widowmaker for example because apparently that's my type of woman to main on a video game and she's got sm KF vibes it's unbelievable to me.

plotting or winging it I wing a lot of my plots and naturally let them develop. However, once I get to know a mun and their character, I plot things to keep our interactions going.

memes or starter calls Memes help shape starters when your brain is mush.

single muse or multimuse I am amazed at people who have multimuses and can keep up with their threads. It is fun to switch between characters, but my life is too hectic to keep up with that.

@badassxbirdy is just such an overall collection of so many things wrapped up in one person/blog : both mun and muse come across as so positive, bubbly, loving, excitable and just overall fun that it's just such a treat and joy to see both on my dash. Extra points for the sheer amount of threads we got going on at the same time, how diverse all of them are, how complex and interesting they are, how long they are and have been going. Really, working on those threads together just feels so effortless and fun on my part, I always get super excited when I see a new reply to either thread, or just see little IC posts and headcanons. I also love how with Tyler and Em, I just never feel like my lengthy writing is bothersome or like a general burden. I just have fun with both and that's so awesome. And the funniest part? We rarely even talk OOC and have barely/not at all plotted any of it! Which comes mostly from the fact that I'm just so terrible at keeping up with OOC chats and cannot really plot anything for the life of me. But with our threads it feels and looks like we've got those super detailed and planned out plots were working through, but we're not! We're just bouncing right off of each other with each reply and that's just my personal definition of a super fun RP experience and amazing RP partner!

Oh, these are hard ones. There are a lot of people I can think of that fits these. I'll start with a few people who fit these and then make other posts with the other people who fit these.

💻 ― excellent writing

@s-talking is not only an excellent writer, but also a talented artist and created one of the best OCs that I know of. I will be including Envy for being a well-developed OC and I always admired the years of work they put into their muses, which includes Envy.

. Their writing is incredibly intricate and illustrates Envy's perspectives and show how dangerous he is. The Mun's writing captivates readers, drawing them into a story of the darkness of an Eldritch entity driving Envy to delve deeper into madness. I always look forward to seeing more of that. I love his interactions with Harmony and she loves him dearly despite the grim secrets he carries.

Most important of all, the Mun is very kind and a cherished friend. The drabbles and threads we have, the art like the gifts and commissions, and the messages exchanged brighten my day. I often look back at them when things get rough and I find comfort in the pieces. Envy-Mun helped me be a better writer and also a better person with their support and advice. My friend has done a lot for me over the years and I always strive to do the same. They deserve happiness and good things to happen!

There are a lot, and I mean a lot of OCs that are masterpieces in their own way. They deserve all the love and I am willing to make separate posts for these OCs I have in mind because they deserve the spotlight.

@whispers-in-daydreams has a variety of OCs that have their own stories and Scarlett-mun has put so much love into each of them. Scarlett is my favorite of her OCs because I love her style and she's a baker has has no f***s to give. Harmony certainly admires Scarlett for her beauty and talents. I also love the kinds of trouble that these two get into!

@handcavity made an truly unique OC of a doll that carries the soul of a girl who was betrayed by the cult she was raised in. The OC called Her is a kind spirit who longs for company, but bears a curse that brings others who are close to Her dire consequences. This is different from what we see with haunted dolls because Her is not malevolent or see joy in harming others. She is also alluring but also unnerving. However, Her is not sinister. In fact, she is a tortured soul bound to the doll with a powerful demon.

😍 ― admiring from afar

@spectralhunter is someone I always admired from afar. He does amazing work in his writing and with his muses, both OC and canon. Takumi is a well-developed OC who is a paranormal investigator looking for ways to gain fame on his livestreams and channel. I consider the mun as a friend and I am thankful to have him and Envy-mun as my friends and rp partners. These two are a dynamic duo and seeing their is always a treat!

I followed the Mun for years and led me to also meeting other horror roleplayers who became my friends and great rp partners. I'm grateful for his friendship and the threads and drabbles we write.

@b-erserk makes a great Guts! I started to get into a bit of Berserk and made an AU that would work better for that world. I can't wait to write more with Guts in the future!

when i think of padme, i think of milla. it's so rare to find someone you just click with, but milla is one of those exceptional people. not only is milla an amazing mun, but she's also a great person to plot with, and an incredible person to talk to. milla brings inspiration and thought to each and every reply, and i am constantly learning things about muses like seril through our replies because of milla's incredible interpretation of padme.

5. dash commentary

i really enjoy it! i don't write it very much myself bc i get kinda nervous trying to think of what to say on the spot, which might sound silly asdf but i like reading everyone going back and forth on the dash! it's nice when rp can be silly and lighthearted. we're here to have fun, and i feel like dash commentary is part of that!

10. anons

anons are either so lovely or you wanna punt them, and it's a shame that the latter group ruins the fun for everyone else. anon is nice bc sometimes you wanna brighten someone's day or send them encouragement, but you feel awkward bc you haven't spoken -- anon eliminates that barrier! or maybe you wanna send something silly and bug somebody's muse, but you don't wanna reveal it's you. there's bunch of harmless fun that can be had if people will just behave uvu i don't think i'll ever understand the compulsion to insult somebody instead of just blocking and moving on.

18. shipping

i love shipping to bits!! to pieces!! i'm pretty laidback about it, too, so long as you're willing to discuss the relationship with me. assuming a ship between our muses without asking first?? no thanks. asking to plot out a ship bc you think our dorks would be cute together?? heck yeah <3 i'm always willing to explore different dynamics, even if we're relatively new mutuals. it just comes down to how you act -- if you're respectful ( and most people are ), then i'm down to write the mushy stuff with you! and ofc there's never any hard feelings if our characters end up not clicking bc tbh? not every relationship works out, and that's okay! that being said, whether the relationship is romantic or platonic, i really enjoy relationships that push each character to grow in some way :' )) i want characters to challenge each other as much as i want them to be each other's safe place. both platonic and romantic relationships take work, and the work is the part i enjoy most, i think. it's right up there with fluff and hurt/comfort &lt;3 also!! even though i'm laidback with shipping, i can be really nervous about suggesting a ship bc i fear upsetting someone asdfg please bonk me on the head and ask for a ship if you want one bc i've probably thought about it already :' )

Rinzler has one of those plastic stage prop knives that do no damage but look realistic (because knife from the chaos aunt), and a fluffy weighted blanket with snowdrops printed on it.

Eve has sewn Alan a new coat - I think she's found and hidden photos of Athena and him having fun at work in one of the inside pockets, along with an exceedingly rare photo of Tron smiling because she wants Alan to have more photos of his kids.

Nitro's swarm of enthusiastic betas have a Grid-issue motorbike helmet and protective gear for Sam, and offers of Lightcycle sessions so he can do the more daring tricks he wants to try in a safer environment.

And last, but certainly not least, Nitro's managed to wrangle an User week of holiday for Tron to spend however and wherever he wishes with Yori, Beck, and anyone else he chooses.

After yesterday Anon hate they got i wanted to give out positive vibes to this mun again. I might ramble a bit and hope i make some sense..

Let me start with their muses. I love their Silver and Shadow - mainly i recall their Shadow/Edge because we had two interactions before i left my old blogs. They put so much effort and thought into their lore and plots. Which i find very interesting and fun to learn and get to know the portrayal.

About the mun. I remember them being really chill and kind and they still are. I hope to interact ooc and bond over the sonic rpc and even become good friends because honestly? they are so sweet and fun to be around. I'm very thankful they remember me and follow me here after years, i want to support them. So if they ever get hateful messages again... I will be sure to be a supportive mutual. <3

To finish up, let me just say you are important, you matter you are cared about by many and we all here for you. Thank you for still being active in the sonic rpc you are one of those i missed.
