I like to imagine that during the Omnic crisis Jack, Ana, Gabriel, Torbjorn, his wife, and Reinhardt would sit down and drink tea together as a way to relax while a young Bridgitte and Fareeha played together. Just the six of them chatting like good friends while their children indulged in the wonderful ignorance and bliss that is being young and un-aware of what’s going on in the wider world.

It gives those three souls, who have seen combat, war, death, a few precious moments to feel normal. To feel like a family.

“I can’t help but point out the Irony in ye lecturing me as to who i’ve fought with” Torbjorn grimaced as his daughter tended to the wounds his latest Fracas had given him, especially so with regards to the massive bruise over his one good eye. “but if ye must know it was last night when i was at the bar with Reinhardt, guy was being an ass to this young lady and things got heated when i stepped in”

“I-...sorry,” he let his daughter go, brow furrowing as he looked her in the face “i thought... i thought i’d lost you; when the building blew up and ye hadn’t gotten out in time..”

His voice cracked slightly as he had to force down the tears that had welled up in his eyes, his worry, and pain, and all that had plagued his heart washing away in a warm flow relief. He had to stay strong for his daughter, that was his job as her Father, to be a pillar of strength and stability.

“Yer safe now, and that’s all that matters... are ye alright?”

With a heavy clunk of steel upon steel, Torbjorn set a heavy metal first aid kit down on the table top and opened it, fishing out various bits and pieces to treat bruises and minor cuts. 

“We’ll going by what he did to ye, i wouldn’t be surprised!” he laughed as gauze was soaked in anti septic fluid “i won’t doubt ye gave as good as ye got kiddo, mind regaling yer old man of what happened?”
