VOGUE POSTED
I was expecting her hair to be tied but I was expecting different hairstyle
Vanessa accepted the request, is now in her feed
What does any of this have to do with Zac anon🙄Zanessa is officially dead get over it. better be happy that Cole is such a sweet and wonderful guy who fits Vanessa better than anyone else❤️
I LOVE the details..but i want to see more and I just know we’re not gonna get much.. I wanna know if she did a first look with the girls or with Mama G..
OMG Vanessa looked gorgeous. I mean of course she did but she just glowed. Wow. And LOL at Cole having an entire team for his groomsmen.
I hope she finally posts and I hope there might some new pics we haven’t seen..but she’s been online since vogue dropped and she hasn’t posted so who knows with her..
For how private Vanessa usually is regarding her personal life, I'm a little surprised that she allowed such an intimate moment such as her wedding to be photographed for publication. I wouldn't have expected that tbh. Lol I was also surprised with how plain and boring her wedding dress was. 😕 Had her hair been down and long with extensions, I think it would've worked better. And I'm sorry, but the embroidered veil that says “Mrs. T December 2nd, 2023” in Gothic font is just so tacky to me. 😭 I feel like after all these years of waiting for her to finally get married, the wedding was nothing like I imagined it would be. 😂
Well Vogue and Vera posted so now can Vanessa post alrreadyyyy
“I literally keeled over when I saw Cole and had to take a big breath and had to force myself to keep walking because I could have dropped to the floor," she said. Let me see the tape
Happy for Vanessa, but I’m not a fan of the dress. I’m surprised she went with something so basic. Also I’m surprised Kim and Natalie were not part of the bridal party.
Her dress was not veeery different from her bachelorette party
I never thought Vanessa the Queen of Coachella the Queen of Halloween (which means she is always dress up) would got married in the most basic dress in the store
I thought the place they chose was really beautiful and I loved the color choices. While the dress and hairstyle I found a bit disappointing, it's not a look that I look at and my eyes light up, kinda very normal, Vanessa took a risk she choose chic but ended very basic imo. The party dress looks like any other dress she's worn recently and it's also nothing new, I think she could have worn her hair down at the party. At the end it wasn't a beach wedding but it was in a very beautiful place, I wanted to see photos of the party
It was not random but i wasn't expecting jay at all 😂
There are some groomsmen that i never saw lol but we got it right some of them
Nac it’s not my favorite bridal look but she still looked very pretty on her day.. wish she would’ve done her hair down.. also knew she was gonna do an understated bridal gown.. I just think she could’ve gone a little more glam but it’s her day and obviously she loved how it came out and that’s all that matters
Vera Wang was lazy that day
There are rumors that Vanessa never let her hair down again
cole got 29383838 groomsmen lmao
vanessa managed to get married in the most boring dress in the world, even the dinner one was prettier, at least the place they chose looks beautiful
Vanessa didn't even tried 😭
Omg? what a meh dress

A Beginner's Guide to Fabric Types and Their Characteristics
Exploring the world of fabrics can be both exciting and overwhelming, especially for beginners. Understanding different fabric types and their unique characteristics is crucial for choosing the right material for your projects. This guide will introduce you to some of the most popular fabrics available at I Need Fabrics, a top online fabric store in the UK. Whether you’re looking for cotton, satin, net, or other materials, this guide will help you make informed decisions.
Cotton: The Versatile Staple
Characteristics:
Breathability: Cotton is renowned for its breathability, making it perfect for everyday wear, especially in warm climates.
Softness: It’s naturally soft, providing comfort for both clothing and home textiles.
Durability: High-quality cotton is durable and can withstand frequent washing and wearing.
Uses:
Cotton is incredibly versatile. It’s used in everything from T-shirts and dresses to bed linens and curtains. For those new to sewing, cotton is a great starting point due to its easy handling and wide availability.
Care:
Cotton is relatively easy to care for. It’s machine washable, and most cotton items can be tumble dried. Iron on a high heat setting while the fabric is still slightly damp to remove wrinkles effectively.
Satin: The Luxurious Choice
Characteristics:
Glossy Finish: Satin is known for its smooth, shiny surface that adds a touch of luxury to any garment.
Drape: It has an elegant drape, making it ideal for creating flowing garments.
Smooth Texture: The fabric’s texture feels luxurious against the skin.
Uses:
Satin is often used in formal wear, including evening gowns, bridal dresses, and lingerie. Its luxurious appearance also makes it popular for decorative home items like cushion covers and drapery.
Care:
Satin requires more delicate handling than cotton. Hand wash in cold water or use a delicate machine cycle. Lay flat to dry and iron on a low heat setting on the reverse side, using a pressing cloth to avoid damage.
Net: The Delicate Delight
Characteristics:
Sheer: Net fabric is lightweight and sheer, creating an airy, delicate appearance.
Stiffness: It has a degree of stiffness that allows it to hold shapes, making it ideal for structured garments.
Versatility: Available in various textures and weights, from soft tulle to stiffer mesh.
Uses:
Net fabric is widely used in bridal veils, tutus, and costume designs. It’s also popular for decorative elements in fashion, such as overlays and ruffles.
Care:
Net fabric is delicate and should be hand washed in cold water. Avoid wringing it out; instead, gently squeeze out excess water and lay flat to dry. Ironing is usually unnecessary, but if needed, use a very low heat setting and a pressing cloth.
Linen: The Cool Comfort
Characteristics:
Breathability: Linen is highly breathable, making it perfect for warm weather clothing.
Natural Texture: It has a natural, slightly rough texture that softens with each wash.
Durability: Linen is strong and durable, known for its longevity.
Uses:
Linen is commonly used in summer clothing like dresses, shirts, and trousers. It’s also a popular choice for home textiles, including tablecloths, napkins, and curtains.
Care:
Linen can be machine washed in cold water and tumble dried on low. To maintain its crisp appearance, iron while damp using a high heat setting.
Wool: The Warm Companion
Characteristics:
Insulation: Wool provides excellent insulation, making it perfect for winter garments.
Elasticity: It has natural elasticity, which helps garments maintain their shape.
Moisture-Wicking: Wool can absorb moisture without feeling wet, keeping you dry and comfortable.
Uses:
Wool is ideal for warm clothing such as sweaters, coats, and scarves. It’s also used in blankets and other home textiles for added warmth.
Care:
Wool requires careful handling. Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent or dry clean. Lay flat to dry to prevent stretching and reshape while damp.
Choosing the Right Fabric
When selecting fabric from an online fabric store like I Need Fabrics, consider the following tips:
Project Requirements: Determine what type of fabric is best suited for your project based on its characteristics. For example, choose cotton for casual wear or satin for formal attire.
Fabric Quality: Always opt for high-quality fabrics from reputable providers. I Need Fabrics is known as one of the best fabric providers in the UK, offering a wide range of quality materials.
Customer Reviews: Check reviews and ratings to gauge other customers' experiences with the fabric. This can provide insights into its quality and suitability for your needs.
Fabric Descriptions: Pay attention to detailed fabric descriptions on the website, including weight, width, and care instructions.
Conclusion
Understanding the unique characteristics of different fabrics helps you make better choices for your sewing projects. Whether you’re drawn to the versatility of cotton, the luxury of satin, or the delicacy of net, I Need Fabrics offers a wide selection to meet your needs. By choosing high-quality materials and following proper care instructions, you can ensure that your creations not only look beautiful but also stand the test of time. Happy sewing!

Bridal Lehenga Shopping: Tips and Tricks for the Perfect Pick
Introduction:
Bridal lehenga shopping is one of the most exciting yet daunting tasks for any bride-to-be. With countless options available in the market, it can be overwhelming to find the perfect ensemble for your big day. However, with the right guidance and preparation, you can make the process enjoyable and stress-free. In this comprehensive guide, we'll explore valuable tips and tricks to help you navigate through the maze of choices and find the bridal lehenga of your dreams.
Know Your Style: Before embarking on your bridal lehenga shopping journey, take some time to identify your personal style. Are you drawn to traditional, timeless designs, or do you prefer modern, contemporary styles? Consider factors such as silhouette, color, embellishments, and fabric preferences. Knowing what you like will narrow down your options and make the selection process much easier.
Set a Budget: Setting a budget is crucial when shopping for a bridal lehenga. Determine how much you're willing to spend and stick to it. Keep in mind that the cost of a lehenga can vary greatly depending on factors like designer label, craftsmanship, and fabric quality. Be realistic about your budget and explore options that offer the best value for your money.
Do Your Research: Before hitting the stores, research bridal lehenga trends, popular designers, and reputable boutiques both online and offline. Browse through bridal magazines, social media platforms, and fashion blogs to gather inspiration and ideas. Make note of specific designs or styles that catch your eye, and don't forget to consider cultural and regional influences that may impact your choice.
Shop Early: Start your bridal lehenga shopping well in advance to avoid last-minute stress. Ideally, begin your search at least six to eight months before your wedding date to allow ample time for alterations and customization. Shopping early also gives you the flexibility to explore different options and take advantage of seasonal sales and promotions.
Pay Attention to Fit: When trying on bridal lehengas, pay close attention to the fit and comfort level. A well-fitted lehenga will not only flatter your figure but also make you feel confident and at ease on your wedding day. Don't hesitate to request alterations or customizations to achieve the perfect fit, and be sure to factor in any weight fluctuations if your wedding is still several months away.
Consider the Venue and Season: Take into account the venue and season of your wedding when choosing a bridal lehenga. For instance, if you're having a beach wedding in the summer, opt for lightweight fabrics like chiffon or georgette to stay cool and comfortable. Similarly, choose colors and embellishments that complement the overall theme and ambiance of your wedding venue.
Don't Forget About Accessories: Complete your bridal look by accessorizing your lehenga with the right jewelry, footwear, and other accessories. Coordinate the color and style of your jewelry with your lehenga to create a cohesive ensemble. Additionally, invest in comfortable footwear that you can dance in all night long, and consider adding a dupatta or veil for added drama and elegance.
Trust Your Instincts: Ultimately, trust your instincts when making the final decision. If a particular bridal lehenga speaks to you and makes you feel like a million bucks, don't hesitate to say yes to it. Remember, your wedding day is all about you, and your bridal attire should reflect your personality, style, and individuality.
Conclusion: Bridal lehenga shopping is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that should be enjoyed to the fullest. By following these tips and tricks, you can make the process smooth, enjoyable, and ultimately find the perfect bridal lehenga for your special day. So, go ahead, embrace the journey, and get ready to dazzle as the radiant bride you were always meant to be!

Are you planning to purchase a pre-owned wedding dress? Here's what you should know.
A second-hand dress can be good for your wallet and the planet – but there are some essential things to consider. As the saying goes, brides need something old, new, borrowed, and blue. Of course, it’s 2024 – you can wear whatever you like! But who’s to say that ‘something old‘ can’t be your wedding dress? A pre-loved or pre-owned bridal outfit is sustainable and could save you some serious cash. It might also be a style-led decision, especially if you want to wear something vintage. “Pre-loved options are much cheaper and come at various price points. Furthermore, brides-to-be can choose from designs/styles and materials spanning decades that are sustainable and timeless,” says Anita Lo, owner of Clara’s Box (clarasbox.com, website coming soon), a website selling vintage clothing and accessories. Lo also has an Etsy store. “For example, silk dresses with long skirt tails and veils were fashionable in the early 20th century. They are one-of-a-kind and unique. There is also a symbolic aspect to this – the happy couple will survive the test of time, just like the pre-loved wedding dress.” Where should you look? View this post on Instagram A post shared by PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com (@preowned_wedding_dresses_shop) There are lots of places you could try. First, check if any local shops in your area stock pre-loved wedding dresses. If you’re mainly looking for a bargain, sites like eBay may be worth a look, as well as charity shops like Oxfam, which has six well-stocked bridal boutiques nationwide and some dresses online. There are also various websites where brides can sell their worn outfits, such as preownedweddingdresses.com and stillwhite.com If it’s something, designer you’re after, rebeccaschoneveld has a curated selection of gorgeous pre-loved gowns, while Etsy can be fantastic for vintage treasures. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Rebecca Schoneveld (@rebeccaschoneveld_bridal) Size up your options However, some essential things to consider before buying a pre-loved wedding dress include factoring in potential added costs for cleaning and alterations. Return policies can also differ when buying second-hand, so you’ll want to think carefully before parting with your money. Of course, buying from a shop means you can try things on. This may get trickier if you’re buying online. If you buy directly from a seller who previously wore the dress, you’ll usually be able to see photos of them wearing it and ask questions about the fit and sizing. And you never know—you might come across something that’s already a perfect fit. It’s also helpful to remember that bridal dress sizes often tend to be smaller than for regular clothes—and even more so if shopping vintage. Not only are there costs to consider here, but there’s also the question of whether the alterations you’d want would be doable. “Make sure you have accurate measurements for bust, waist, hip, and height. Vintage dresses come in smaller sizes than modern clothing,” says Lo. Wedding dresses might also have been altered to complement the previous owner. If the bride is unsure about the desired dress style, it could be more accessible to narrow down the options by material or era. “The required alterations would depend on the original structure and material of the dress, the buyer’s measurements, and personal taste,” she adds. “If the dress’ length or sleeves need to be shortened, this can be done relatively easily by hand or using the sewing machine, although it takes time. I’d recommend hiring a professional seamstress for repairs and more challenging alterations.” Will the dress need cleaning? Depending on where you buy from, a pre-loved dress might need to be cleaned or refreshed. Some sellers might have already taken care of this. Ensure you know the dress's condition to avoid unexpected costs upon arrival. The method required will depend on the fabrics and designs and the nature of the necessary cleaning. Lamprini Fameli is a product expert at Philips. She says preloved shopping is a beloved trend in fashion, and second-hand wedding dresses are becoming more popular. “An easy, affordable, and effective way to spruce up your second-hand wedding dress is a handheld steamer. Philips has a 3000 Series Handheld Steamer for $45. They can swiftly remove stubborn creases, providing a much-needed refresh ahead of the big day. “It’s hygienic, too, killing 99.9% of the potential bacteria lurking on your second-hand purchase,” Fameli adds. But you must remember that not all materials suit this type of touch-up. “If you’re going to steam a dress, stick to lightweight fabrics like silk, tulle, organza, and chiffon. These fabrics will withstand the heat, and a quick steam will give them a refreshed, airy quality. “If your dress is made up with lace, velvet, satin or any type of beading, you’re best to avoid using a handheld steamer, as these fabrics can be liable to warp in shape, texture and colour if exposed to direct steam,” advises Fameli. Lo agrees it’s essential to get this step right. Consult with the experts if you’re unsure. “More delicate materials and older wedding dresses need to be hand-washed or dry-cleaned, which can be time-consuming and costly,” says Lo. Modern dresses are easy to wash: either dry-clean or use the washing machine .” Read the full article

I bought my wedding dress yesterday :)
It was a really special experience! I went into my neighborhood David’s Bridal. I had been looking online at their dresses for a while, and I had a few different designs - all on clearance, lmao - in mind. I tried on three dresses, all strapless ballgowns in lavender, blush pink, and white. The fourth dress was one I had seen online and one that I was SUPER excited to try on - it was both Derek’s and my favorite from the online images. It was just hard to find in store at first; they didn’t think they had it in my size initially but they finally found one.
It was love at first sight, I literally gasped when the stylist zipped it onto me. The other dresses were nice, sure, but this was a clear, immediate yes. You know you’ve found the right wedding dress when you don’t want to take it off!
My stylist then found me a gorgeous veil and like... I can’t. It was so lovely. :’)
At David’s Bridal, when you find “the dress” they give you a bell to ring, once you’ve made a wish for your wedding day/life together with your partner. So I got to make a wish and ring the bell!
I went dress shopping alone, and I was so impressed by my stylist and the other staff and manager. They were sweet and supportive and kind, and respectful of my budget that I was working with. I can’t wait to go back for my accessories. I definitely want to get my earrings there; though I think I’ll wear Indian bangles.
The dress is a champagne-colored sleeveless ballgown with vines embroidered down the front and skirt :) the vines have a subtle sparkle to them too.
And the best thing? I got my dress AND a lovely two-tiered veil with crystalline work for a total of $350. :’’’’’’) Which was well within my budget!! That gives me room to work with my earrings, bouquet, and bridal mehendi/henna - I already own the bangles I’d wear.
I am so excited. I can’t wait. Obviously the dress needs to be hemmed quite a bit - apparently they’re made for people 5 foot 9 inches, and I am almost exactly one foot shorter than that.
I’m also touring a potential venue for our ceremony next Thursday. The conservatory at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum :) It’s only $500! Also exactly within budget. AND they’re open every Saturday from February to end of April. (End of April is probably what we would go with.) I haven’t been there before; I hope it’s beautiful and works out because that price point is the best I have seen.
It’s all so exciting :)
