I am wiped out.

Birthday Friday. Bridal shower Saturday. Celebration of life Today.

I feel really strange. Being out in the world so much over the weekend when I'm normally cooped up at home.

My birthday was spent at home, but was still social because my besties came over to drink wine and we ended up chatting a lot vs watching movies like planned.

Bridal shower was lovely. It had a Bridgerton vibe. But I will say I felt super out of place. The crowd and venue had an air of neurotypical posh and I felt sooo much more fucking autistic than I usually do. (If that makes sense. I think it does. Iykyk) (also the previously lean, masked version of me would have probably thrived a lot better than the chunked out worsened chronically ill nd bean I've grown into being) I also became tachycardic at one point but it was in the middle of the games portion of the gathering and I was NOT about to be noticed by a crowd of people while I laid on the floor so I suffered through it at my table. 🫠🫠

But I digress.

Today I went to a celebration of life for my best friend's mom. Partly to be there, to support her... and to kind of be a buffer as needed for her not so great of a person grandmother to contend with should she start giving my bff a hard time.

But 3 days of socializing. 2 of which were out of the house with people I mostly didn't know. It was just. Strange. Being so out in the world again for a weekend. I think a part of me enjoyed it. But most of me is super burned out and in a lot of pain.

Idk. I'm all mixed up about it. I miss the world. Kind of? Like I miss it but also leave me tf alone in my cave, please 😅
