On 8 July 2022 my wife, Robyn, and I were visiting Muswellbrook. We went for a stroll along the main shopping street and came across a two-metre-high  bronze sculpture by Brett “Mon” Garling of a Blue Heeler dog (called Big Blue) – made in 2001 to celebrate the famous Australian Cattle Dog first bred at Dartbrook (12 kilometres north of Muswellbrook).
