Hi!!! I actually love this question bc I don’t think yall understand,,, this book means SO much to me like the outsiders has been my favorite book ever since I first read it in 7th grade which was literally 7 years ago at this point I have read it more times than I can count. I love it sm to the point where I kinda didn’t love the musical at first because of the slight differences but clearly that’s changed since I’ve seen it 4 times now and will be seeing it at least two more before Christmas 😭 that being said

My favorite scene in the book is probably the morning after Ponyboy gets back, everything about it is just so great to me. From him waking up to Tim on the couch to Steve and Two-Bit being so excited to see him and everyone getting ready and bustling around the house in the morning, it’s so real to me and just shows how close everyone is

As for the musical, I really enjoy the drive in because it’s so entertaining to see what everyone else is doing in the background, I always love watching Melody and Bart+ SG and Sean, I like seeing what the other couples are up to. Plus Friday At The Drive In is such a fun song and the choreo is great and then I Could Talk To You All Night is probably my favorite song from the soundtrack, so that whole scene is great. I also love Run Run Brother because in person it’s just so breathtaking and again, watching everyone in the background is insane like you can see up top a cop seemingly telling Cherry about what happened and the little details like that are cool. Justice For Tulsa is always amazing as well, that song live is just something else. And lastly, the rumble will never cease to amaze me, I love focusing on different people each time. The time before last I was right orchestra so I rly noticed Dre and Tilly and I could actually hear them talking to each other during the rumble lol and the last time I was super focused on Brent
