egg’s digestible guide for FREE attainable rides: cyberpunk 2077

Car Model > When it is available . How to get/Location of vehicle.

1. Archer Hella EC-D i360 > Given free after the prologue

Automatically added to your car inventory.

2. Jackie’s ARCH Nazaré > After Act 2, completing the quest “Heroes” aka Jackie’s Funeral.

After Mama Welles gives you the keys to his bike, it is added to your car inventory.

3. Brennan Apollo “Scorpion” >  After completing “Life During Wartime” main quest with Panam.

Once the mission is over and you’ve said your temporary goodbyes, and interrogate Hellman.

4. (Villefort) Delamain No. 21 > Given by Delamain at the end of “Don’t Lose Your Mind” once you’ve completed all seven Epistrophy quests.

Added in your car inventory after having a neat conversation with the car’s Delamain.

5. Porche 911 II (930) Turbo > Found after the fight with Grayson, with or without letting him live in “Chippin’ In”

Johnny Silverhand’s fully customized Porsche. I personally always kill Grayson since his body has the key to the cargo box anyway. To get the car added to your inventory, make your way to the ladder at the starboard of the ship (from where Grayson is (slumped dead or standing alive), go to the left of the ship), climb the ladder and there will be a control panel with a prompt. You’ll see the cargo container lowered into the yard. Use the key you looted/got to open it and acquire the car for your car inventory.

6. Thorton Mackinaw “Beast” > Given by Claire at the end of “The Beast in Me” quests

After you talk with Claire whether you finish the race or not, she gives Beast to you and it is added to your car inventory when the quest ends.

7. Quadra Type-66 “Cthulhu” > Given by Sampson IF you let him live. Otherwise, it can be bought for €$ 76,000.

In order to get this car for free, follow these dialogue options when on the final “The Beast in Me: The Big Race” and Claire talks about her husband:

After qualifying for the Final Race: “You sure it was murder?”  >> “Sorry, Claire, but I can’t help.”  >>  “Okay, I’ll still drive but only to win”

During the race once Sampson goes offroad: “What’s he mean?” >> “Wait, wanna hear this.” >> “Claire, that true?” >> “Yeah, let him go.”

Note: You will still be able to get Claire’s “Beast” at the end of the quest. Sampson will call you later to give you his car.

8. Thorton Colby CX410 Butte (Orange) > Can be found at the abandoned movie set in the Eastern Badlands.

Attainable BEFORE Act 3 so GRAB THIS CAR WHEN YOU START ACT 2. It’ll literally just be sitting there and you can add it to your inventory. Afterwards, you will not be able to get it.

9. Rayfield Caliburn > Becomes available after completing Panam’s side quest “Ghost Town”. 

Make your way back to the tunnel where you and Panam crashed Nash’s hideout. Tucked in a corner near where the hideout starts, there is a shipping container that will make the “Vehicle Required” sound once you open it. 

Another way to find (by accident as I’ve done this twice) it is taking the long way back to Night City from the New Aldecaldo’s Camp after the “Queen of the Highway” quest is completed. On the way back, you’ll find that shipping container in that same tunnel.

10. Villefort Alvarado “Vato” > Becomes available when unlocking “Beat on the Brat: The Glen”.

This car you have to fight for, literally. The owner El Ceaser is the next Beat on the Brat after the twins in Kabuki. Find him in Heywood, he’ll wager €$ 4,000 and V will need to match it. After defeating him, he will give you the car.

11. Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech > Available one in-game day after completing “A Life’s Work”. 

Padre calls V after you complete those in-game days waiting, giving the “Sex on Wheels” gig. The reward at the end is this fabulously iconic sports car.

12. Thorton Galena GA40XT aka “Rattler” > Only available for Nomad lifepath

First actual car before V’s Archer Hella, you recall starting the game having it fixed up. At some point, you no longer have the car and look for it in the nearby junk heap. V will receive a text with coordinates to where your car is located, alive and well (Medeski Fuel Station in Badlands). After speaking with a very special NPC (Alanah Pierce) you can make a deal to get your car back.

13. ARCH Nazaré “Itsumade” > Available once completing the puzzle to “The Highwayman”

This is a secret gig you can find in the southeastern-most part of Rancho Coronado. To start the quest you need to walk behind the gun shop and start the quest.

Since I’m having some trouble talking about my beautiful OCs, I decided to just steal some questions from this list made by @lizzywizzy​

I’m only doing the “Personal” questions though. May or may not do the same for other cyberpunk ocs. Let me know if you’d be interested in seeing that.

1. what is their full name? do they have any nicknames? what are they and why did they get them?

Her full name is Vinka Kovač (”Kovatch”), her most prominent nickname is obviously V. She never liked her name that much in the first place, but for most of ther life the only people who ever called her by her full name were authority figures of some sort, which always leaves her feeling like she did something wrong when she hears it.

2. how old are they? how long have they been living on their own?

She is 27 years old in 2077 and has been living on her own since she was 14. Before then she was living in an orphanage.

3. what are their astrology signs? sun/moon/rising.

I would assign her Aries/Pisces/Leo, but I am not an expert on astrology, so idk.

4. what tarot card from the major arcana would you associate with them?

Ironically, The Devil. However not really in the way it’s used in the game, but more as a symbol of powerlessness. She has been living the same day-to-day life without any real goals or ambitions since she was a teen and feels like she can never escape this cycle, even outside of Night City. This changes later, once she meets Johnny.

5. are they religious or spiritual in any way?

No, not at all. She tried reading about different beliefs and religions many times, trying to find something to believe in, something to give life some meaning but nothing ever made sense to her. She respects, maybe even admires spirituality, but it’s just not really part of who she is.

6. which of the four elements would you associate with them?

Water, for different reasons. Even if it looks calm you never know if there are strong currents underneath that will drag you down into your demise. In a way, it’s just as distructive as fire, but much less cathartic. I feel like that fits her very well, because there is a lot of darkness and despair underneath her easy-going exterior and in the end, she doesn’t really get the “Blaze of glory” ending, she always (thought she) wanted.

9. which of the nine alignments are they? (lawful good etc)

I’d probably place her in the “chaotic neutral” category, but her attitude towards what’s right and wrong tends to differ a little between her own and other’s actions. Which is hypocritical, yes. She might discourage other people from doing “bad” things, but also thinks she already fucked up bad enough anyways, so what is one more body going to change really?

10. which of the myers-briggs personality types are they?

I tried answering the test how I think she would and apparently she is ENFP.

11. do they have any cyberware? is it cosmetic or is it weaponry/armor?

She has quite a lot of cyberware, most of it are combat enhancements of some sort, like stronger joints, better resistance to physical damage, etc. She is also equipped with mantis blades. As for cosmetic cyberware, she does have all black eyes, simply because she thinks it looks cool.

12. what is their occupation?

Mercenary, very much the same as in-game.

13. if you were to choose a class for them, what would it be?

Probably rogue? Her build is mostly stealth and bladed weapons.

14. what is their weapon of choice?

Katanas are her favorite, but the mantis blades are a close second. She also likes to fight with knives, but those are generally only useful for either throwing or using from stealth.

15. what is their preferred vehicle or transportation of choice?

Her favorite Vehicle is the Brennan Apollo motorcycle (specifically the one she got from Scorpion and the Aldecaldos). On rainy days, when motorcycles aren’t the most comfortable option, she just drives her old Archer Hella.

16. how would you describe their style?

Not very flashy, a little punk, but mostly practical, I guess. She does like jeans and leather jackets and steel-toed shoes, but none of those things are so out of the ordinary in Night City. As long as she doesn’t look out of place in a run-down rocker bar she deems her outfit acceptable.

17. are they a early riser or a night owl?

Kind of both, kind of neither. I’d say she prefers the night but she very much lives outside a regular day-night cycle. She goes to bed when she is too tired to walk and she gets up when she feels like it - unless she has a job to do.

River Ward

-Dramatic- Fuuuuuck me. This guy. Yeah, he's okay, for a badge. Yeah, he says he's not a cop anymore but he still wears that badge in his mind. Bet he has boxers with NCPD plastered all over them. Seriously though, a man like River... when his belief structure is shaken like that... he does stupid shit. And he did stupid shit. There was a million other ways he could have played it before I met him. He's like a bull, just charges right ahead and thinks it'll all work out because it's supposed to. Like, who told him it was supposed to? And now, he's arming the pop because I was decent enough not to shoot his ass on site? Fuck. He may not know it yet but he's bringing legit war to the streets of Night City, hope he's ready for it. Hate to have to come back and clean up his mess, again. -a smirk pulls at him- Though... would be... kinda nice to hang out... nope! Nope.

Sandra Dorsett

She's a lot like River, actually. Her cush little bubble was popped when she got snatched and it rocked her ass to the core. She'll either get over it... or she won't. What she's got going on, career wise... is another matter. I'm talking about... what's doing inside her head.

Saul Bright

As a member of the Aldecaldos, Saul was a wonderful leader and he will be missed. -said much like 'can neither confirm nor deny' but it’s painfully clear that the pain is still too near-

Mitch Anderson

If ever I had a true brother outside Jackie... it'd be him. He doesn't pull his punches but he's not mean either. He'll tear you a new one but pick your ass up out of the dirt. He's kind of like a father in law, if Nomads worked that way. Damn does he care about Panam and she him. That's one tie that I will do my damnedest to protect.

Brennan Apollo "Scorpion"

Scorpion. Not sure what I can say about him. I didn't know him for very long but his bike rides true. And for a Nomad... that's puttin' him in high regard. I know him and Mitch go way back and I hate that he's gone. I hate that I won't know him. And I hate that it hurt Panam to lose him. Add that to the list of things I wish I could change.
