Tumblr media
(must read after reading the fic)
Ten Lee
Tumblr media
After the success and growth of NeoMagazine, Ten decided to return to his home country, Thailand. There, he spent some time sharing his knowledge and passion by offering professional makeup courses. During this period, an unexpected opportunity transformed his life: the creation of his own makeup line, "Chitta Cosmetics." The brand became a reflection of his artistic vision and deep connection to his roots. It didn’t take long for Chitta Cosmetics to gain recognition, and soon, Ten found himself competing and collaborating with industry giants like Maybelline, solidifying his place as a prominent figure in the beauty world.
On a personal level, Ten never lost touch with his best friend, Y/n, whom he cherished deeply. Despite their busy schedules and the changes in their lives, he always made time to celebrate her successes, proud to see her thriving, happy, and healthy. Though the dynamics had shifted since the days when they all worked together, Ten treasured every moment they spent together. He never forgot where he came from or the value of the friendships that shaped him. Humility and loyalty remained central to who he was, even as he achieved remarkable things.
Mark Lee
Tumblr media
After the growth of NeoMagazine, Mark let his creativity run wild in the urban fashion scene, creating not just innovative outfits but also collaborating with designers and producing pieces so exceptional they could have been displayed in a museum. His brand, "127", quickly gained traction, and soon, big-name rappers and music artists became his clients, rocking his designs at major events and on stage.
On a personal note, Mark kept uploading his freestyles and original songs to his secret SoundCloud, where he shared his music without the pressure of fame. For a while, his music career felt more like a side project, but everything changed when one of his followers went viral with one of his early mixtapes. This boosted his visibility, and soon millions of people were asking for a full album. Mark eventually delivered on that demand, launching his debut album, which became a major success. Now, Mark was rubbing shoulders with top rappers and artists worldwide, forming important partnerships in both music and fashion. He not only solidified himself as a rising star in the music industry but also became one of the few rappers creating 100% custom designer pieces. By blending his love for fashion and rap, he carved out a unique and successful niche for himself.
Nakamoto Yuta
Tumblr media
After NeoMagazine’s growth, Yuta focused his efforts on further expanding the magazine and other ventures in his native Japan. His expertise and vision led him to teach business and statistics, not only in Japan but across various countries in Asia. Through these classes, he inspired a new generation of entrepreneurs. His practical approach and ability to connect with people earned him a reputation as a trusted leader in the business world.
On a personal level, while Yuta had firmly established himself as a successful businessman, life had unexpected plans for him. His charisma and natural presence landed him a supporting role in a Japanese film—a project he initially saw as a fun new challenge. However, his performance caught the attention of a well-known director who stumbled upon the movie by chance. Impressed by Yuta’s talent, the director offered him a lead role in his next feature film. Balancing both worlds, Yuta discovered a newfound passion for acting without stepping away from his business pursuits. His debut as a leading actor was a hit, propelling him into the spotlight of the film industry. Now, Yuta is not only a respected businessman but also a rising actor, proving that embracing unexpected opportunities can lead to extraordinary paths.

TONY GWYNN HITTING
He was less concerned with getting a hit in a particular at-bat and was more focused with being comfortable at the plate, having a fluid swing, and making solid contact. Over the course of the season, he figured it would result in success.[34]
Gwynn was hard-working and known for his work ethic and devotion to extra batting practice.[3][13][185][197] On the road, he stayed in his hotel room, studying video of his at-bats or playing video games.[68][198]
In the first 12 years of his MLB career, Gwynn used a 32½-inch, 31-ounce bat. In his final eight years, he employed a 33-inch, 30½-ounce bat.[d][11][29] Gwynn wanted his wooden bats light like his aluminum ones in college. Instead of having the barrel of his bats shaved, as many batters do, he had them "cupped", with the end of the barrel hollowed out like the bottom of a wine bottle.[176]

STARBUCKS & SEPHORA COFFEE RIGHTS
Ethiopia and Oxfam America urged Starbucks to sign a licensing agreement with Ethiopia to help boost prices paid to farmers. At issue was Starbucks' use of Ethiopia's famed coffee brands—Guji, Sidamo, Yirgacheffe and Harar—that generate high margins for Starbucks and cost consumers a premium, yet generated very low prices to Ethiopian farmers. Cappuccino (/ˌkæpʊˈtʃiːnoʊ/ ⓘ, Italian: [kapputˈtʃiːno]; from German Kapuziner)[1] is an espresso-based coffee drink that is traditionally prepared with steamed milk including a layer of milk foam.[2] Variations of the drink involve the use of cream instead of milk, using non-dairy milk substitutes and flavoring with cocoa powder (in Europe and Australasia) or cinnamon (in the United States).[3][4] It is typically smaller in volume than that of a latte, and topped with a thick layer of foam rather than being made with microfoam.[5]
A liqueur coffee is a caffeinated alcoholic drink that consists of a shot of liqueur, mixed with coffee. It is typically served in a liqueur glass, often accompanied with cream and sugar. Coffee liqueur beverages are served in different fashions and can be found throughout many countries. One of the most popular liqueur coffee beverage is commonly known as Irish coffee.[1] Liqueur coffee beverages are largely classified as cocktails as well as digestifs which are aimed at aiding the digestive process typically after a meal.
Coffee is well known as a cosmetic ingredient, particularly due to the presence of phenolic compounds, such as chlorogenic acids, and caffeine. Caffeine is widely used in cosmetic formulations due to its photoprotector and anti-aging properties, as well as lipolytic action in cellulitis, and hair regrowth.

In the most basic terms, a real estate investment company invests clients' assets in real estate and provides them with profits on those investments in exchange for a fee. Typically, this is the well-known approach of renovating completely and then reselling for a profit.
Rural economics is the study of rural economies. Rural economies include both agricultural and non-agricultural industries, so rural economics has broader concerns than agricultural economics which focus more on food systems.[1] Rural development[2] and finance[3] attempt to solve larger challenges within rural economics. These economic issues are often connected to the migration from rural areas due to lack of economic activities[4] and rural poverty. Some interventions have been very successful in some parts of the world, with rural electrification and rural tourism providing anchors for transforming economies in some rural areas. These challenges often create rural-urban income disparities.[5] Rural spaces add new challenges for economic analysis that require an understanding of economic geography: for example understanding of size and spatial distribution of production and household units and interregional trade,[6] land use,[7] and how low population density effects government policies as to development, investment, regulation, and transportation.[8]
A commercial economy is an economic system characterized by the exchange of goods and services, often driven by trade and market forces, rather than subsistence agriculture.
REIGs Edge City Slum
An edge city is a concentration of business, shopping, and entertainment outside a traditional downtown or central business district, in what had previously been a suburban, residential or rural area. The term was popularized by the 1991 book Edge City: Life on the New Frontier by Joel Garreau, who established its current meaning while working as a reporter for The Washington Post. Garreau argues that the edge city has become the standard form of urban growth worldwide, representing a 20th-century urban form unlike that of the 19th-century central downtown. Other terms for these areas include suburban activity centers, megacenters, and suburban business districts.[1] These districts have now developed in many countries. Urban economics is broadly the economic study of urban areas; as such, it involves using the tools of economics to analyze urban issues such as crime, education, public transit, housing, and local government finance. More specifically, it is a branch of microeconomics that studies the urban spatial structure and the location of households and firms (Quigley 2008).

Value theory is the systematic study of values. Also called axiology, it examines the nature, sources, and types of values. As a branch of philosophy, it has interdisciplinary applications in fields such as economics, sociology, anthropology, and psychology.
The term originates in ethical philosophy, where axiological or value hedonism is the claim that pleasure is the sole form of intrinsic value,[3][4][5] while normative or ethical hedonism claims that pursuing pleasure and avoiding pain for oneself or others are the ultimate expressions of ethical good.[1] Applied to well-being or what is good for someone, it is the thesis that pleasure and suffering are the only components of well-being.[6]
Psychological or motivational hedonism claims that human behavior is psychologically determined by desires to increase pleasure and to decrease pain.[3][1]
Hedonic pricing is a model that identifies price factors according to the premise that price is determined both by internal characteristics of the good being sold and external factors affecting it.
SUN CHURCH PRACTICE
The Nicene Creed (/ˈnaɪsiːn/; Koinē Greek: Σύμβολον τῆς Νικαίας, romanized: Sýmvolon tis Nikéas), also called the Creed of Constantinople,[1] is the defining statement of belief of Nicene Christianity[2][3] and in those Christian denominations that adhere to it. Although Constantine lived much of his life as a pagan and later as a catechumen, he began to favour Christianity beginning in 312, finally becoming a Christian and being baptised by Eusebius of Nicomedia, an Arian bishop, although the Catholic Church and the Coptic Orthodox Church maintain that he was baptised by Pope Sylvester I. He played an influential role in the proclamation of the Edict of Milan in 313, which declared tolerance for Christianity in the Roman Empire. He convoked the First Council of Nicaea in 325 which produced the statement of Christian belief known as the Nicene Creed. In the Roman Catholic Church, to obtain the plenary indulgence once a day, it is necessary to visit a church or oratory to which the indulgence is attached and the recitation of the Sunday prayers, Creed and Hail Mary.[82] Recitation of the Apostles' Creed or the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed is required to obtain a partial indulgence.[83] Tithe; noun; one tenth of annual produce or earnings, formerly taken as a tax for the support of the Church and clergy.
The Council of Trent issued key statements and clarifications of the Church's doctrine and teachings, including scripture, the biblical canon, sacred tradition, original sin, justification, salvation, the sacraments, the Mass, and the veneration of saints[4] and also issued condemnations of what it defined to be heresies committed by proponents of Protestantism. The consequences of the council were also significant with regard to the Church's liturgy and censorship.

He was from the county of Aquino in the Kingdom of Sicily.
GEMINI TWIN
Nzambi a Mpungu (also Nzambi and Nzambi Mpungu) is the Supreme God, eternal Sky Father and God of the Sun (fire) in traditional Kongo spirituality.[1] His female counterpart is Nzambici, the Sky Mother and Goddess of the Moon. Among other Central African Bantu peoples, such as the Chokwe, and in the Kingdom of Ndongo, Nzambi Mpungu was also called Kalunga, the god of fire and change. This may have a connection to an element of Bakongo cosmology called Kalûnga. It was seen as the spark of fire that begot all life in the universe.[1] After Portuguese colonization, Nzambi Mpungu became synonymous with the Christian God and existed chiefly as the Creator God.[2]

Possessive invocation may be attempted singly or, as is often the case in Wicca, in pairs - with one person doing the invocation (reciting the liturgy or prayers and acting as anchor), and the other person being invoked (allowing themselves to become a vessel for the spirit or deity).
Automatic writing, also called psychography, is a claimed psychic ability allowing a person to produce written words without consciously writing. Practitioners engage in automatic writing by holding a writing instrument and allowing alleged spirits to manipulate the practitioner's hand.
SOL ANGELS: HELL EVENING STAR SUN MATERIAL WORLD SUNSET ANGELS CLAN SOLAR CROWN DEITIES (SUN PRINCIPALITY)
In a later extended sense in intertestamental Jewish literature, the abyss was the underworld, either the abode of the dead (Sheol) or eventually the realm of the rebellious spirits (fallen angels) (Hell). In the latter sense, specifically, the abyss was often seen as a prison for demons.
In this example, the adept must surrender all, including the guidance of his Holy Guardian Angel, and leap into the Abyss.
A tutelary (/ˈtjuːtəlɛri/; also tutelar) is a deity or a spirit who is a guardian, patron, or protector of a particular place, geographic feature, person, lineage, nation, culture, or occupation. The etymology of "tutelary" expresses the concept of safety and thus of guardianship. A radiant or radiate crown, also known as a solar crown, sun crown, Eastern crown, or tyrant's crown, is a crown, wreath, diadem, or other headgear symbolizing the Sun or more generally powers associated with the Sun. Apart from the Ancient Egyptian form of a disc between two horns, it is shaped with a number of narrowing bands going outwards from the wearer's head, to represent the rays of the Sun. These may be represented either as flat, on the same plane as the circlet of the crown, or rising at right angles to it.
Thomism is the philosophical and theological school which arose as a legacy of the work and thought of Thomas Aquinas (1225–1274), the Dominican philosopher, theologian, and Doctor of the Church.
Augustine of Hippo, who converted from Manichaeism to Christianity, criticised the Manichaeans for polytheism and paganism, stating that Manichaeans, due to their dualistic cosmology, believe in two different deities. The Manichaean bishop Faustus of Mileve defends Manichaeism by stating that Catholics erroneously assume that the Prince of Darkness had a divine essence, while in fact, the Prince of Darkness does not share any attributes with the Divine, thus Manichaeism would not worship multiple gods, but rather one true god.[2] They are both two different principles: although eternally existing, clearly distinct. Only the light particles within humans are consubstantial to the Divine.

Augustine of Hippo (/ɔːˈɡʌstɪn/ aw-GUST-in, US also /ˈɔːɡəstiːn/ AW-gə-steen;[22] Latin: Aurelius Augustinus Hipponensis; 13 November 354 – 28 August 430),[23] also known as Saint Augustine, was a theologian and philosopher of Berber origin and the bishop of Hippo Regius in Numidia, Roman North Africa. His writings influenced the development of Western philosophy and Western Christianity, and he is viewed as one of the most important Church Fathers of the Latin Church in the Patristic Period. His many important works include The City of God, On Christian Doctrine, and Confessions.
Thomas Aquinas OP (/əˈkwaɪnəs/ ⓘ ə-KWY-nəs; Italian: Tommaso d'Aquino, lit. 'Thomas of Aquino'; c. 1225 – 7 March 1274) was an Italian[6] Dominican friar and priest, the foremost Scholastic thinker[7], as well one of the most influential philosophers and theologians in the Western tradition.[8] He was from the county of Aquino in the Kingdom of Sicily.
THE ARABA, CHIEF PRIEST OF IFA: "YORUBA RELIGION AT THE CROSSROADS”
Ifarinwale Ogundiran ("The Araba")
The Araba is the Chief Priest of Ifa, a traditional Yoruba religion, of the town of Modakeke, Nigeria. He has worked with scholars from American and European universities conducting research on his life and Yoruba religions. The visit incorporated dance and drum performance of various orisa rhythms, and a discussion of the Yoruba religion's inclusive cosmology and the challenges it faces in the increasingly exclusive religious landscape of contemporary Nigeria.
BABALAWOS
Babalawos are key custodians of the Ifa system, preserving and transmitting Yoruba cultural heritage through oral tradition, rituals, and ceremonies. This system provides a framework for understanding morality, human relationships, and the world at large. As spiritual leaders and diviners, Babalawos offer guidance to individuals and communities by employing the Ifa divination process, addressing various aspects of life such as health, relationships, and career choices.
The Babalawos are believed to ascertain the future of their clients through communication with Ifá. This is done through the interpretation of either the patterns of the divining chain known as Opele, or the sacred palm nuts called Ikin, on the traditionally wooden divination tray called Opon Ifá. In addition to this, some of them also perform divination services on behalf of the kings and paramount chiefs of the Yoruba people. These figures, holders of chieftaincy titles like Araba and Oluwo Ifa in their own right, are members of the recognised aristocracies of the various Yoruba traditional states.

Intercessory Prayer with a Conscious Vessel and KABBA NICENE as Religious Identity
In the Roman Catholic Church, to obtain the plenary indulgence once a day, it is necessary to visit a church or oratory to which the indulgence is attached and the recitation of the Sunday prayers, Creed and Hail Mary.[82] Recitation of the Apostles' Creed or the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed is required to obtain a partial indulgence.[83]
The original Nicene Creed was first adopted at the First Council of Nicaea in 325.
KABBALISTIC TEXT
The Zohar (Hebrew: זֹהַר‎, Zōhar, lit. "Splendor" or "Radiance"[a]) is a foundational work of Kabbalistic literature.[1] It is a group of books including commentary on the mystical aspects of the Torah (the five books of Moses) and scriptural interpretations as well as material on mysticism, mythical cosmogony, and mystical psychology. The Zohar contains discussions of the nature of God, the origin and structure of the universe, the nature of souls, redemption, the relationship of ego[citation needed] to darkness and "true self" to "the light of God".
The godhood self sought by left-hand path followers is represented by the qliphah Thaumiel in the Tree of Knowledge.[4]
In the Zohar, Lurianic Kabbalah, and Hermetic Qabalah, the qlippoth (Hebrew: קְלִיפּוֹת, romanized: qəlīppōṯ, originally Jewish Babylonian Aramaic: קְלִיפִּין, romanized: qəlīppīn, plural of קְלִפָּה qəlīppā; literally "peels", "shells", or "husks"), are the representation of evil or impure spiritual forces in Jewish mysticism, the opposites of the Sefirot.[1][2] The realm of evil is called Sitra Achra (Jewish Babylonian Aramaic: סִטְרָא אַחְרָא, romanized: sīṭrāʾ ʾaḥrāʾ, lit. 'The Other Side') in Kabbalistic texts.
Regardie and Crowley
According to Aleister Crowley, the three evil forms (before Samael), are said to be Qemetial, Belial, and Othiel.[15]
Crowley (who calls them "Orders of Qliphoth")[16] and Israel Regardie[17] list the qlippoth and their associated sephiroth on the tree of life as:
Thaumiel, associated with Kether
Ghogiel, associated with Chokmah
Satariel, associated with Binah
Agshekeloh, associated with Chesed
Golohab, associated with Geburah
Tagiriron, associated with Tiphareth
Gharab Tzerek, associated with Netzach
Samael, associated with Hod
Gamaliel, associated with Yesod
Lilith, associated with Malkuth.
The Kabbalistic angels, also known as the Angels of the Shem HaMephorash, are 72 celestial spirits whose names are derived from the 72-fold name of the Hebrew god as found in the Book of Exodus.
TUTELARY DEITY
A radiant or radiate crown, also known as a solar crown, sun crown, Eastern crown, or tyrant's crown, is a crown, wreath, diadem, or other headgear symbolizing the Sun or more generally powers associated with the Sun.
DIASPORA
Odinani, also known as Odinala, Omenala, Odinana, and Omenana[1] (Igbo: Ọdịnanị/Ọ̀dị̀nàlà), is the traditional cultural belief and practice of the Igbo people of south east Nigeria.[2] These terms, as used here in the Igbo language, are synonymous with the traditional Igbo "religious system" which was not considered separate from the social norms of ancient or traditional Igbo societies. Theocratic in nature, spirituality played a huge role in their everyday lives. Although it has largely been syncretised with Catholicism, the indigenous belief system remains in strong effect among the rural, village and diaspora populations of the Igbo. (Nigerian ASĖ; Chicago and Ethiopia)
JEWS I PROTECT
Proponents of the Kenite hypothesis explain this inconsistency as a preserved implication that the cult of Yahweh said to have been created by Moses had a known pre-history. Further indirect support for the Kenites being the true bearers of the Yahwistic faith is taken from the positive portrayal of Kenites in the rest of the Tanakh. Kenites and some groups closely associated with them appear to have been known as fervid devotees of their god Yahweh, even during times when Yahweh's own chosen people, the Israelites, had at large abandoned his worship.

idk why but I'm gonna soapbox for a moment. its MY blog and I get to decide when I post a rambly rant!
People need to get it absorbed into their minds that a translation error and a deliberate localization change are not the same thing. A translation error is when two similar sounding/looking words get mixed up, or (in the case of JP-ENG which is what I'm about to really get into here) really inconsistent romanizations for proper nouns, or characters getting misgendered/having the wrong pronouns. There are tons of things. Read Legends of Localization. Read anything with the title of "This Be Bad Translation" because they are extremely funny, and then read the more informative articles. Buy the books even. For even further FURTHER reading Capcom has a really good track record with their localizers just talking about their games and the decisions they made in articles/blog posts. Actually let me reference one now to make a point:
Maya Fey in the original script loves a big hearty bowl of ramen. Adores it. And girl... I understand. However if you've played the english Ace Attorney games you may recall in those she really loves a big juicy burger. Is this a mistranslation? Did the localizers somehow goof up and say burger instead of ramen? No. The global release of the first game came out in 2005 and at that point in time most Americans who knew was a real bowl of ramen was were either Japanese-American, been to Japan, or a huge stinkin anime nerd. Everyone else if you told them to imagine ramen they'd picture a cup noodle. So if you want to go for mass appeal you think to yourself. Okay. What would be the American equivalent in this situation. A hearty cultural food that one may want to get to celebrate a job well done. And they landed on burgers. It was a deliberate, thought-through choice. And while you, personally, may feel that it was a mistake. It fundamentally isnt. There is no 100% right way to localize something. Theres a lot of factors to consider! And sometimes a change in how these factors are approached leads to my next point.
A character having slightly different mannerisms or way of speech between games is also, not inherently a mistranslation. If you are my age consider for a moment the anime localizations of our youth. Digimon Adventure. Early seasons of Pokemon. Sailor Moon. They were really allowed to go "off-script" and ham it up and make a bunch of jokes that weren't in the original, but I look back on them fondly and I know others do too! Being more loose and going for the overall vibes and doing so in a way that (hopefully) appeals to your audience is a perfectly fine way to do things. But now anime (and manga) localization has changed a lot. There is a lot more emphasis on "accuracy" and having a "true" translation. Which like isn't a thing that exists. In fact, often times being too 1:1 literal makes a localization worse and clunky and weird. But the point is in more modern "accurate" translations those characters often act a little differently. Neither of those versions are wrong its just a different approach. But it is in Splatoon where I think you can really see it in stark contrast, because in the first game the North American localization were allowed to freestyle it a bit more. In general they gave characters more bombastic personalities and weird little quirks that like werent in the european english version at All. So Splatoon becomes a hit, it is like The Game that ppl are buying a Wii U for, so the sequels roll around and the leash gets tightened a bit. You will sometimes see people say things like the translations got Better or crack jokes about how nintendo must have fired the old guys or whatever. But what happened is. They are going for brand consistency. Now all the English scripts are mostly the same (sorry not sorry for infecting the european english version with briish Spyke). Which is to say they are trying to avoid different versions from having really different interpretations of characters but they are still in some ways allowed to put their own little spin on things. Which brings me to the actual. true reason for all this meandering.
No. Craig saying "I don't see species" is not a mistranslation. Its a localization choice. Here we have a situation where we are trying to convey an older man who isnt Hip with it anymore but kind off thinks he is. Just a real out of touch guy. He means well but still has some internalized prejudices. Americans are really familiar with people saying "I don't see race." Like. He is A Grandpa. That is an extremely grandpa thing to say when someone challenges them on if they are going to be chill that there is someone of a different race over for dinner. It's fine. If you had a strong reaction to him saying that thats good, even. Like idk I wasn't in the room when they made that specific choice but I imagine they wanted to licit that "oogh uh oh no you cant say that grandpa yiikes 😬" reaction. Like idk I think that was their intent and it worked. And thats why we are still talking about it years later. (also, as more of an aside. I don't think him being Nicer to marina/eight in the JP script means he isn't still kinda racist towards octolings? Like the first thing he does in splatoon 3's story mode is announce the octarians are back and Totally behind whats going on and need to be stopped. He says this even if you are an octoling. dude got divorced so hard he became racist, I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this. Marie is also kind of racist too. Sorry! that doesn't make them Bad Characters and that you are Bad for enjoying them btw. It just means they have character flaws. which is good and normal and cool.)

Grocery Store ⏤ (OC Only) Takashi Tachibana & Hiro Otsuka.
I wrote this one last year to better understand the relationship between my two characters and navigate Hiro's "voice." I figured I might as well share it with y'all!
“Cool, right?” Hiro gestures out to a large supermarket awning built into the corner of a gray building. “This place has foreign stuff!”
“Yeah, that’s cool.” Takashi stands with Hiro, significantly less impressed, but not disinterested. “Do you need groceries?”
“Just a few things, I promise. I won’t take up too much of your precious time.” Hiro replies with a hint of ribbing in his voice.
Takashi isn’t really even sure why he’s here. Hiro randomly decided to text him earlier that day to ask if he wanted to check out this grocery store near him and on a whim, Takashi agreed. He didn’t have much else to do that day, anyway.
“Anything specific you’re looking for?”
“Ehhhh… Not really. I just figured I’d look around and get ideas, y’know? Freestyle it.”
“Got it… ‘Freestyle.’”
They step on the rubber mat, the glass doors sliding open to accept them in. Hiro takes a hand basket and is immediately greeted by a display of produce. Takashi watches as Hiro swiftly takes three containers of already cored pineapple. He must really like pineapple, he thinks.
“I wonder if they have South-American food…” Hiro wonders out loud.
“Do you like foreign food, Hiro-kun?”
“Oh, yeah, I guess so… I grew up somewhere with a lot of foreigners, so I got used to seeing different kinds of food.” Hiro’s face drops the usual smarminess as he thinks about his upbringing.
Takashi bites his lip, knowing they grew up in the same town, but Hiro doesn’t know that.
Hiro approaches an older woman in uniform, clearly an employee. “Excuse me, ma’am, do you sell any South-American foods here?” They exchange a few words before he thanks her for her time and walks back toward Takashi. Takashi raises an eyebrow at Hiro with a stunned expression. “What? I’m a gentleman.”
“Sure…” Takashi shakes his head, slightly taken aback by Hiro’s out-of-character manner of speaking. “You should talk like that with women your own age.”
“What? No way, girls don’t like that. Makes them feel ugly.”
“And you know this how exactly?”
“Oh, my poor, sweet, naïve Takashi-kun. You just don’t get women like I do.” Hiro pats Takashi’s shoulder in misdirected pity. “Also, they only have European crap here. Aw well.”
“Sorry, I guess?” Takashi replies specifically about the lack of South-American food, trying to ignore the first part.
Hiro, however, interpreted this as about Takashi’s lack of experience with women. “It’s cool, you don’t know any better.”
They pass an aisle of different European brands of alcohol, but none of them seem to interest Hiro, even the ones that are discounted. “I would think you’d get some of the alcohol here.”
“Nah, trust me, I drink plenty at work. I don’t need any more of it.” They move on to look over the packaged meats glowing under the LED lights. “Nice, they have pork on sale! And it’s the organic stuff too!”
“I didn’t know you liked that kind of stuff.”
“I mean… It’s supposed to be better, right? I dunno. It’s cheaper, that’s all I care about.” He takes the marbled meat and drops it in his basket, his fingers creasing the shrink-wrap.
As they move through the aisles, Hiro suddenly stops in his tracks to gasp and cover his mouth, feigning shock. “Oh no, Takashi-kun…!”
Takashi follows his gaze to a cooler with bags of oranges inside and next to it, a machine with the words “100% Fresh Juice” in English letters printed above. The sign shows a cartoon anthropomorphic orange touting a full cup of fresh juice.
“They’re juicing you!” Hiro turns his head back and forth between the juicer and Takashi, his mouth agape. Hiro’s clearly trying to amuse Takashi, exaggerating his movements.
Takashi can’t help but snicker under his breath, trying and failing to stifle a laugh. Hiro looks back at him with a big, satisfactory grin. “See, you like me!” “No, I hate you, actually,” Takashi quips back, his smile betraying him.
“You think I’m charming~” Hiro teases in a sing-song voice with a toothy grin. It’s reminiscent of a proud child. Takashi narrows his eyes, biting the inside of his cheek.
Takashi does like Hiro… Sometimes. When he isn’t being completely inappropriate or egotistical. Which is most of the time.
There are times, however, when he’s a quarter less obnoxious. Takashi likes when he’s just being goofy, like right now. Or those rare moments of sincerity that accidentally slip out.
Takashi rolls his eyes half-heartedly. “That was such a dumb joke, dude.”
“You don’t have to be so tsundere, y’know. Just be honest and say you want me.” Hiro punctuates his sentence with a smug hair flip. “I mean, I don’t blame you. Look at me.”
Yep… That’s Hiro.
Takashi walks up ahead, leaving Hiro to be caught up in his own little world until his proverbial bubble pops and he awkwardly scrambles to catch up with Takashi. “Come on baby, don’t be like that!” Hiro whines a little too loudly behind Takashi, making the man ahead of him furrow his brow with a grimace. “Would you forgive me if I bought you a snack or somethin’? A peace offering snack?”
Takashi looks over his shoulder, Hiro finally catching up. “That depends. How much are you willing to spend for my forgiveness?”
“Uh, I mean, not anything too expensive–” Takashi starts walking away again, causing Hiro to stumble. “Okay, okay! Whatever you want, man!”
Takashi smiles triumphantly. “Sounds good to me.” Hiro finally catches up with Takashi, walking beside him at a steady speed. “You’re kinda sexy when you’re being bossy.”
Takashi immediately frowns. “Can you stop talking, please?”
“I’m just sayin’ you should be more confident! It’s a good thing!”
“That is NOT what you were saying.”
“Okay, you got me there.” Hiro just shrugs with a half-smile, picking up some pre-made meals along the way. Takashi can only sigh in response.
“Do you need anything else?” Takashi asks a little impatiently.
“Hmmmm…” Hiro rubs his chin with a bit of flourish. “I guess just whatever you want. And a drink. I’m thirsty.”
Takashi ignores the way Hiro wiggles his thick eyebrows as he says this, looking through the aisles to pick something out. A bag of foreign chips catches his eye, not really knowing what exactly he’s getting, but the flavor looks interesting. “Is this okay?”
“Whatever you want, man, you have my word.” Takashi gently places the bag in Hiro’s basket while Hiro grabs a bottle of green tea.
They walk up to the cash registers together, checking out and getting the items bagged. Hiro thanks the clerk for their help before getting ready to leave, walking out into the sunny Tokyo streets.
Once they’re outside, Hiro rustles through the plastic bag to give Takashi his promised snack. “Thank you,” Takashi replies, the plastic crinkling in his hand.
“Hey, uh… Takashi-kun?”
“Yeah?”
“Thanks for, y’know, coming with me…” Hiro scratches the back of his neck sheepishly. “It’s kinda nice doin’ chores and stuff with somebody else… I guess.”
There it was. One of those rare genuine moments. Takashi looks at his bashful face, reminding him of when they were both teenagers.
Yep. That’s Hiro.

Five Guys was founded in 1986 by Janie and Jerry Murrell. Jerry and the couple's sons Jim, Matt, Chad, and Ben were the original "Five Guys". The Murrells had a fifth son, Tyler, two years later. Today, all five sons, the current "Five Guys", are involved in the business: Matt and Jim travel the United States visiting stores, Chad oversees training, Ben selects the franchisees, and Tyler runs the bakery.
The first Five Guys was in Arlington's Westmont Shopping Center. Buns were baked in the same center by Brenner's Bakery. This location closed, in favor of another in Alexandria, Virginia, at the intersection of King and North Beauregard Streets, which closed on September 21, 2013.
More followed in Old Town Alexandria and Springfield, Virginia, making five locations open by 2001. Their success encouraged the Murrells to franchise their concept the following year, engaging Fransmart, a franchise sales organization. Former American football player Mark Moseley, who had gone to work for Fransmart after his football career, played a key role in Five Guys' expansion and went on to become the company's director of franchise development after it ended its business relationship with Fransmart. In early 2003, the chain began franchising, opening the doors to rapid expansion which caught the attention of national restaurant trade organizations and the national press. The expansion started in Virginia and Maryland, and by the end of 2004, over 300 units were in development through the Northeast. Over the next few years, the chain rapidly expanded across the entire United States and into Canada, reaching over 1,000 locations by 2012.[needs update][citation needed]
The first location outside North America opened in the United Kingdom in July 2013, in London on Long Acre in Covent Garden. The chain now has more than 150 restaurants in the UK. Five Guys also has locations in the Middle East and has continued to expand in Europe. In late 2017, Five Guys opened its first restaurants in Germany, with a branch in Frankfurt and another in Essen.
Five Guys, one of the top three burgers in the U.S., opened its first Korean store in Gangnam, Seoul, at 11 a.m. on June 26, 2023 with a countdown shout. As of 2024, there are a total of four branches in Seoul.
Five Guys Enterprises has several affiliated companies that are not part of a consolidated group, but are under common ownership. Five Guys Operations was founded in 2012, Five Guys Holdings was founded in 2007. Five Guys Foods UK Limited was incorporated on March 12, 2013. FGE International, FGO International BV, and FG Coöperatief U.A. are based in Amsterdam. FGH International C.V. is located in Bermuda.
Five Guys had a 39,900 square feet (3,710 m2) headquarters in Lorton, Virginia, overlooking the Occoquan and Potomac Rivers, that was specially designed to convey the corporate brand. According to the architect, "The lobby mimics the typical Five Guys restaurant with red and white tile, tall tables, Freestyle Coke machine and signature peanut boxes." In 2023, they moved their headquarters to a new location in Alexandria, Virginia.
On September 24, 2020, the first Five Guys location with a drive-through window opened in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. The franchisee retained it from the former business in the building in light of COVID-19 pandemic safe practices.
In September 2021, Five Guys opened their first location in Australia. The chain also has plans to expand into New Zealand. In November 2022, Five Guys announced the relocation of their headquarters to the Carlyle neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia.
Tumblr media
Five Guys has received numerous awards in D.C. area publications, including "Number 1 Burger" by Washingtonian Magazine for seven years.[citation needed] The former US President Barack Obama is reportedly a fan, buying lunch for himself and his colleagues at the Washington Five Guys branch in 2011.

Twenty Day Challenge - Day Seven
Tumblr media
Oh, we're just gonna talk about eating habits. This's...this's gonna be a mess.
Tumblr media
As mentioned in the past- soft bars. So. Many. Soft bars. This man's desk, his office, his home- everything is overflowing with soft bars from every brand he could get his hands on.
His favorite is Nutrigrain but it's more difficult to eat those so he's on the fence with them. Saves them for special occasions.
When he cooks for himself, it's always (or almost always) some type of soup. Very rarely, it'll be a soft food.
Absolute Smoothie King™ fan. Has a membership and everything- drops by just about every other day for a drink, and it lasts him four to six hours (it's a thirty-two ounce every time- takes small sips every few minutes).
His favorite soup is probably a lightly spicy egg drop soup.
He almost never invites others to eat with him simply because he either: takes super long to finish the same serving size, or has a very small (think 'child's size' if not smaller) serving size.
It's actually very rare for restaurants in Japan to let people take food home,- too many worries about improper storage and the like- so Yagi almost always gets a small serving when he has to eat with others.
When he could eat whatever, he wasn't a picky eater- he'd spent enough time on his own to just accept any food he could get his hands on.
It internally hurts him to admit he can't have anywhere near as much food, anymore.
Has to be so careful what he eats/how much he eats or else he will be in agony until it finishes passing through his system.
Has a soda every once in a great while, even though it hurts a bit. He just-- misses the feel/taste...of the soda, not the pain.
Tumblr media
The fucking pickiest eater- they're a very texture-sensitive person.
To them, all fruit tastes 'like biting into a mass of cobwebs' so they're also a big fan of Smoothie King- smoothies erase the cursed 'cobweb' texture.
There are some foods where the texture-reaction is so severe Fin refuses to eat it no matter what (example: apples- the texture of those make Fin insanely nauseas every time).
They're not in America, so there's not really a lot of 'kid's menus' (hardly any restaurants have them, most of those are in Tokyo where foreigners majorly visit).- But they eat a bit under a kid's serving per meal, usually.
They feel awkward not tipping, but it's seen as rude in Japan, so...they don't.
Favorite meal is a grilled cheese with fries and chocolate milk. It's a bit of a comfort meal from their childhood- and very painful to come by, since dairy products are more expensive there.
Doesn't invite others to eat out with them often because they get nervous/afraid of being told 'no'.
Downs Red Bull like it's water.
Their favorite soup is tonkotsu ramen with half an avocado.
Mostly makes microwaveable/oven-ready meals because they burn nearly everything they try to cook (including their favorite meal).
The few exceptions to this are: tuna melts, boiled eggs, and cheese quesadillas.
Gets easily distracted.
"I remember how long these went in for," annnnd forgets. Two seconds later.
As for both of them...
Mostly have soup together, in the winter/when the two have a lot of time or want to do an all-night marathon, they'll make a yosenabe- or a freestyle hot pot.
Fin carries a few extra soft bars on hand just in case Yagi drops by/forgets his own snacks.
Yagi (every now and again) will cook some dish with extra cheese because he knows if it has cheese, Fin's highly likely to love it.
Fin gets lessons from Yagi every now and again for certain meals/how to keep them from burning.
Has to keep an eye on Fin or else they'll forget they were cooking anything.
Probably the silliest meal he ever got was going to Fin's apartment to see a black sludge in a pot, and Fin handing him a cup of instant ramen with the quietest '...sorry'. He helped them clean up the mess while he ate his ramen.
The two love showing each other strange eateries??? Like- anything weird. Yes, that includes the toilet-restaurant. Went in...once. Fin got incredibly nauseas (they couldn't stop picturing the actual thing clear in their head), they never went again- but the two do laugh about the experience every now and again.
They dropped by KFC about two weeks after Christmas, for the pure sake of it.
When Yagi found out Fin loved mac n' cheese?..he made them a pot of it. Fin has begged him multiple times to teach them the recipe-- but each time, they somehow destroy it.

Tumblr should love this app since it seems to be setting up a season long gag about shoelaces
Like any respectable millennial confronting the harsh, creeping reality of the ever-quickening passage of time, I've recently become more aware of some of life's universal constants: death, taxes, Ticketmaster being a dick, and the sinking suspicion that the implementation of universal healthcare in the US is going to be the world's longest running Shaggy Dog story.
And so post hoc, ergo propter hoc, I've had the thought that maybe if I'm lucky I can avoid the inevitable crush of capitalism-driven-health-care costs by, like, moving my body more regularly? Thankfully, capitalism and popular mass media was ready to help take my money in assisting me with this so-called ~exercise~ endeavor, which is why today I'm going to be reviewing/documenting my experience trying out Six to Star's Marvel Move
Six to Start is the company behind Zombies, Run! which is a story-based running app set during a zombie apocalypse where you run while characters narrate the world/plot in short audio clips. They've since expanded to doing story-based exercise in all manner of genres, and must be doing very well for themselves since they recently were able to get themselves an official Marvel© brand licensing deal. Marvel Move currently has three different Marvel-based stories that you can run to: a Thor (and Loki) story, a Hulk story, and an X-Men story. In the future, there's going to be a Daredevil story (which based on the artwork should have Black Widow as a character) and a Dr. Strange story as well. The world is definitely comic-based, not MCU based, as far as I can tell -- the X-Men story is set in the current comic status quo of Krakoa being a thing, and the Thor story's got Asgard being, like, a space thing again and not a tourist trap in Norway. Helpfully, the Thor (and Loki) story has a couch-to-5k training variation for people like me who last did a run at the behest of a dead president for high school. The couch-to-5k training incrementally lures you into running like you're a wimpy kid scared to jump into a pool, for the first episode there was a 10 minute warm up walk, then an alternating 10-set of 1 minute walks to 15 second runs, and finally another 10 minutes to freestyle run/job/brisk walk as you see fit. The story - so far - is that you're a lucky (?) every-day mortal who joined a running club that turned out to be ... more than that. It's not entirely clear why an Asgardian Valkyerie is moonlighting as a fitness instructor in the human realm, or why she's making humans run through a magical landscape under the guise of it being a visualization meditation (???) but your character and your fellow human runners are given a magical trance playlist that helps you Roll With It. Unfortunately, Shit Happens, and your character's journey goes from rainbows and unicorns to, "Hey, turns out you're important, so I'm kidnapping you to Asgard For Reasons." It's an intriguing set up, and the incorporation of the stop and go run training into the story-line works well. You don't meet Thor (and Loki) until the end, but it's clear you're going to be hanging out with the big names as the story progresses which is nice. Also, the voice actor they have playing Thor is Norwegian but he speaks English with a Scottish accent? Which is just delightful. Anyway, I did episode one yesterday and surprisingly survived? 15 seconds is remarkably quicker than I anticipated. My times are terrible (the ghost of JFK would be very disappointed in me), but I'm hoping to improve and having fun the program so far. I'll probably continue to post updates on this if I wind up committing to, like, not dying young of preventable heart disease.

Today’s compilation:
The Best of Personal Records 1989 Disco / Post-Disco / Eurodisco / Electro / Boogie
Despite only existing between around '83 to '86, the New York-based dance label Personal Records possessed an uncanny ability in churning out floor-burning bangers. In just less than four years, and without the assistance of any major label, they managed to chart twenty-eight of their own releases. That's a lot, folks!
Personal was co-founded by famed disco producer Jurgen Korduletsch and record biz executive Don Oriolo. And here's a fun bit of trivia about Oriolo: he also ran the Felix the Cat brand. It was actually his dad who created Felix—as well as Casper the Friendly Ghost—and when he died, Don took over operations for Felix. So, if you've ever wondered why Felix appeared to have this sudden resurgence in the 80s and 90s, it's because the co-owner of this excellent 80s dance label was the one who was pulling the strings! Neat, huh?
Anyway, there's few things in this world that I love more than 80s club music. Just a total hodgepodge of stuff like disco, post-disco, boogie, funk, R&B, soul, hi-NRG, electro, hip hop, dance-rock, freestyle, synthpop, house, dance-pop, and new wave, all flowing carefreely through each other. Never has music really felt more like a melting pot than when it was played on a 1980s dancefloor. Purely unprecedented peak eclecticism that I don't think we're ever going to see again.
And Personal contributed to that spirit of dynamism with their own catalog, which this compilation manages to provide a retrospective of in eleven songs. Personal's stuff lit up New York clubs, but not all of it was made by New Yorkers. In fact, four of the songs on here were actually licensed from Germany, including probably the album's most popular song, George Kranz's "Din Daa Daa," a peculiar, onomatopoeia-heavy, beatboxing precursor that was featured on the soundtrack for none other than Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. And the other three German-made tracks come courtesy of a guy named Fancy, whose "Chinese Eyes" sure as shit hasn't aged well at all lyrically, but sonically, it's something of a new wave-synthpop-Eurodisco masterpiece. Kranz's song hit #1 on Billboard's dance chart, while "Chinese Eyes" peaked at #2.
Also, do you remember that 1991 dance-pop-house piece of cotton candy fluff, "Touch Me (All Night Long)" by Cathy Dennis (I actually posted about it a while back...you think you haven't heard from Dennis since that song came out, but trust me, you have.)? Did you know it's actually a cover of a 9½-minute freestyle-electro-post-disco bop by Wish & Fonda Rae? The original's far less known than Dennis' version, but it still peaked at #5 on the US dance chart and it was also featured in A Nightmare on Elm Street 2. It's co-produced by the great and recently departed Patrick Adams (he made up half of Wish), who shows up in a couple other places on this comp too, including "Let's Change It Up" by Inner Life, a studio group fronted by Jocelyn Brown that he was also a member of.
Oh, and eminent 80s producer-remixer extraordinaire Shep Pettibone is on here as well, providing his signature sound in Clair Hicks & Love Exchange's "Push Push (In the Bush)," which, come to think of it...do you think that provided some inspiration for "What What (In the Butt)"? 😂
And one last thing! She's not on here at all, but Lisa Lisa was actually also signed to Personal Records for some time. They licensed her hit debut single, "I Wonder If I Take You Home," which Korduletsch and Oriolo both had a hand in producing, to CBS Records for a European compilation called Breakdancing, and it led to her getting signed to Columbia. Just another feather for this powerful, yet ultimately fleeting 80s dance label to wear in its cap.
Highlights:
George Kranz - "Din Daa Daa" Wish featuring Fonda Rae - "Touch Me" Fancy - "Chinese Eyes" Fancy - "Come Inside" Clair Hicks & Love Exchange - "Push Push (In the Bush)" Fancy - "Check It Out" Claudja Barry - "Born to Love" Inner Life - "Let's Change It Up"

Thomas Aquinas OP (/əˈkwaɪnəs/ ⓘ ə-KWY-nəs; Italian: Tommaso d'Aquino, lit. 'Thomas of Aquino'; c. 1225 – 7 March 1274) was an Italian[6] Dominican friar and priest, an influential philosopher and theologian, and a jurist in the tradition of scholasticism.

IFÁ
Possessive invocation may be attempted singly or, as is often the case in Wicca, in pairs - with one person doing the invocation (reciting the liturgy or prayers and acting as anchor), and the other person being invoked (allowing themselves to become a vessel for the spirit or deity).
Automatic writing, also called psychography, is a claimed psychic ability allowing a person to produce written words without consciously writing. Practitioners engage in automatic writing by holding a writing instrument and allowing alleged spirits to manipulate the practitioner's hand.

In a world saturated by streamers, Plaqueboymax is carving a lane of his own. Since joining the FaZe Clan last April, Max, who's 21, has parlayed an engaging persona, a fruitful platform, and, yes, some solid musical skills to level up in a major way. This is mostly due to the success of his In the Booth series.Part hangout sesh, part recording session, entries into his In The Booth series have collected millions of views in a fairly short time. Streamers like Kai Cenat and Adin Ross have been inviting rappers on their streams for years, but Plaqueboymax is one of the first to actually make music with his guests live on Twitch. On In The Booth, Max—who also raps, produces, and engineers—records a song live on Twitch, giving viewers an inmate look into the recording process. (Viewers can also provide live feedback to what they’re hearing.)In the span of a couple of months, he’s engineered for artists like 41, Lazer Dim 700, Ian, DDG and more. Sometimes, he even jumps on the track, and some of them have already collected millions of streams. While Plaqueboymax had already gotten a sizable following through years of being online, it feels like he’s on the verge of a new pinnacle, and soon, a lot more people will know exactly who he is.For those who don’t, here’s the lowdown. Here’s everything you need to know about Plaqueboymax.Hailing from West Orange, New Jersey, Plaqueboymax has spent nearly his entire life making and releasing content. He first began as a pre-teen with an account called MaxGotNext, which saw him upload clips of himself hooping with his friends. He and some friends later formed a YouTube content group called Basement Boyz. In those years, he and the team would conduct everything from random public interviews to spontaneous freestyle sessions. But Max was always the creative engine behind the collective. And after earning over 190k YouTube subscribers, and eventually getting his first YouTube plaque, it was clear that Max wanted to be a personality—that he wanted to go from being “Max the Editor” to Max the streamer. And that, of course, led to other things….After leaving the aforementioned Basement Boyz, Plaqueboy Max launched his own channel while also joining Twitch in April 2021 (telling his parents he wanted to take a gap year before college.) He gradually moved from once-or-twice-a-week streams to doing daily streams. As his popularity grew, one of Max’s strengths was involving and platforming his followers, known as the 5$STAR community, into his streams, creating a family environment that involves everything from trading stories to speed dating. Things went into turbo mode in early 2024 when he was one of the new recruits for the esports brand FaZe Clan, boosting his popularity partially due to the success of their Subathon last September.Max gained more popularity for two particular series, In the Booth and Song Wars. For In the Booth, he invites artists to his crib to make music, streaming the whole affair so fans can see acts like Dave Blunts and DDG cook up raw and unfiltered. Plaqueboy’s role can change depending on the episode. Sometimes, he serves as the engineer and the producer. For others, he even steps into the booth himself to get some flows off. Through it all, he maintains an energetic atmosphere—but he makes sure to lock in to offer the same sort of feedback you’d expect from any young and engaged engineer/producer.Plaqueboymax also has Song Wars, wherein he would lock in with artists who play unreleased songs for judges (other artists) who award it a score out of a 10-point scale. Whoever gets the most points at the end wins. It’s sort of like a fusion between Verzuz and a rapper study hall.So in essence, Plaqueboymax is at the center of a new frontier of artist-fan interaction. Whether he’s making bangers or helping artists get feedback for them, he’s using Twitch to make moments fans feel like they can be a part of. More symbolically—and even, functionally—he’s creating micro archives for musical experimentation. Both shows continue the tradition of artists playing song snippets on Instagram Live, except in this case, fans get to see the whole songs come together, and artists get to collapse the distance between a legit studio experience and an opportunity to introduce themselves to even bigger audiences. It’s a one-stop shop for promo and musical creation.Max has become a legitimate tastemaker. Thus far, Plaqueboymax has worked with artists from across the spectrum, with everyone from SoundCloud rap legends like Trippie Redd to ascendent drill group 41 checking in.Within the last couple months or so, he’s also connected with Fivio Foreign, Nino Paid, BabyChiefDoIt, Bay Swag and Cash Cobain (“No More” really goes). He’s worked with Ian, too.He would have worked with Lil Tjay, but…well it’s complicated. Fivio Foreign brought Lil Tjay into an In the Booth. But things became tense when Tjay and Fivio refused to stop smoking weed during filming, so they left. (They were in an Airbnb and Plaqueboymax didn’t want to set off a fire alarm.)Speaking to DDG about the incident later, Tjay explained being confused by the Plaqueboymax situation, because he, “didn’t know him until that day.” Lazer Dim 700's “Laced Max”, which was the first song Max recorded live with a major artist, is still his biggest hit. The song has more than 33 million streams on Spotify and more than 6 million on YouTube. His DDG collab “Pink Dreads” is also picking up steam. Released near the end of December, “Pink Dreads” has collected over 3.8 million Spotify streams to date. So yeah. It’s going up. And it’s honestly not hard to see why. Both DDG and Plaqueboymax, who raps on the track, serve up a perfectly lethargic verse that seeps into the chords of the opiate beat like a narcotic mist.“Cooln” from Nino Paid and BabyChiefDoit is also a standout. It’s collab from two up-and-coming street rappers with distinctive styles, that’s earned over 1.7 million Spotify streams. Plaqueboymax doesn’t serve up vocals on it, but he put the two together, solidifying his status as a rap trendsetter. Plaqueboymax has over 1.1 million YouTube subscribers and recently surpassed 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He’s also got 1.4 million subscribers on Twitch—making him the 22nd most popular streamer on the platform. He has 476k followers on Instagram and over 200k on X. So, people are definitely watching.Even more importantly, though, he’s cool and popular enough to get artists on his shows regularly—and show up on cool shows like, ahem, Complex’s GOAT Talk.Well, Drake’s already tapped in. During a livestream with Adin Ross, Drake mentioned that he was checking out Max, saying “I was watching Plaqueboymax. I was watching him in a live studio session or some shit and I was like, ‘Yo, Adin would troll me so hard for watching this.’ I watched it for an hour.” Later on, Max talked about being feeling slighted in the backhanded manner Drake mentioned him. But it seems like things are mended. Drake followed up Max on social media and the two have talked privately. Source link
