Finally, a family tree

Drew some more warrior kitty catss 🐱

Wasn't sure which design to originally go for, so I decided to just use both designs and make them twins! ^^

On the left is BrambleTail, the tom twin who is slightly older by 2 minutes lol

BrambleTail got his name by how his fur is always messy and unkempt. Usually the tom's mother (when he was young) groomed him or his sister would do it for him.

On the right is the she-cat FrostFluff! Who in comparison to her brother has her fur very well kept and happy to help her brother smooth out his own fur lol

THE FINAL DRAFT POINTS

A quick run down on the main story points that were planned on. Details, and indeed the main story, would be and have always been influenced by your questions

Spottedstar was building an army to drive ShadowClan from the forest

Coal (previously labelled as The Instigator) and Tinkerbelle are responsible for this entire situation. As kittens they disrupted Spottedstar’s life ceremony (unsure how, this was a work in progress). This disruption caused the spirits of the Seers to be fused with Spottedstar’s lives, giving him access to their various prophecies and flitting memories. The inability to tell the difference between past, future, and present led him to believe the Clan was in terrible danger. This is why the Seers are not present in StarClan, and why Tinkerbelle has prophetic dreams– her soul was fused with a Seers in the incident

Rosestar’s ancestor, whose name I’ve forgotten, experienced something similar where a soul in the lake was disrupted and fused to her. This is why she killed her friends

Stormstrike was uncovering the truth. He knows Brambletail would hurt him without control, and so refuses to confront her despite whatever you Contacts may have said or done to persuade him to do something about it. In the end, he is unable to hide his reaction to the ‘monster’ (Spottedstar controlling Brambletail’s body) and Brambletail kills him to keep him quiet

This expands into a major investigation, and Ravenwhisker is of course called forward. Still trying to act as the traitor in order to keep his kits safe, he refuses to comment

Stormstrike wakes in Limbo, and we learn that the legendary figure of Limbo itself has successfully whisked him away to hide him from the dark forest’s straling of souls. Limbo is frightened, and asks for help stopping their father.

Spottedstar attacks the forest to drive ShadowClan away, in his mind trying to remove them from all the danger he sees. Many are killed, despite Spottedstar’s strong insistence to his group that they are to keep killing to a minimum. In the pandemonium Spottedstar exposes Brambletail and kills her, taking her soul away with him

(Fun fact) Ravenwhisker, when giving his first confession in front of Rosestar, got every cause of death wrong. Because he didn’t kill anyone, he had to try and guess what had happened based on public information

ShadowClan runs, with Spiderbounce and Coal leading the way to the Tribe. Ravenwhisker and Bluebell come too, being pardoned of their Crimes but not fully trusted. The journey is long and rife with misadventure depending on how you Contacts interacted with it. Cats would be lost and gained.

On the way they run into Swiftdawn and his family. Sunfire has a go at him for abandoning them again, which Swiftdawn feels is fair, but negative feelings don't last long. Clawheart in particular is delighted by her many new grandkits who are all pretty much her size already

Stoneteller is unprepared for this amount of guests and is not exactly thrilled, and is downright appalled that Hollystar was stupid enough to bring kittens on this journey. After berating and picking on Hollystar for some time, despite Hollystar’s protests, it becomes clear that Stoneteller is relaxed and simply bantering

Stoneteller expresses condolences for the losses on the journey, mentioning Stormstrike by name with a particularly heavy heart. Hollystar being Hollystar is instantly suspicious of this, and Stoneteller takes him away to meet the Tribe of Endless Hunting

We return to Dark Forest Question Time. Pestilence has taken to spending more and more time away from the Forest in favour of exploring the empty camp, imagining what her life might have been like if she’d lived

Pestilence is more open to receiving direction from the Contacts than usual and will learn what has happened. She decides to go and find Stormstrike (“Pestilence is key” prophecy)

Stormstrike, Pestilence, Hollystar, and Stoneteller all meet up in the white void thanks to Limbo’s risky intervention. They’re all as surprised to see each other, and even more surprised when Hollowmoon and Owlpaw walk in.

Hollystar immediately starts pandemonium over Owlpaw in particular being alive, and is quickly silenced. Owlpaw seems nervous, not liking this at all, but explains that Limbo brought them here too.

I did not think out any of this as it was so far in the future but all the powerful cats are now in one room, and together they learn that Eclipse, Silverpelt’s ex-mate and Limbo’s father, has corrupted and been imprisoned in his own domain. He’s been trying to build his power to escape by taking souls from Silverpelt.

I did not get much further than this. They fix it probably or maybe it goes horribly wrong but either way life changes dramatically, souls are fused and unfused, etc etc

Ashkit takes her warrior name, chosen by you lot, and is accepted into StarClan with her mother. Even Spottedstar is fine, though he stays in the Dark Forest to do his penance. We get to see the cat he was before his life ceremony, and he understands that even though his soul has been separated from the seers, he needs to remain in the dark

Everyone lives happily ever after

Thank you for being on this journey with me! I wanted to slam everything down, in part so I wouldn’t forget what I was doing. You guys have done so much from me during the years I was drawing this.

Silkmimic can hardly believe how quickly time has passed since Chestnutpaw was a kit. It still feels like just yesterday that they were tumbling around the nursery, chasing after a moss-ball or some other cat's tail. misty-eyed with pride and joy, Silkmimic throws their head back and tries to cheer the loudest as Chestnutpaw is named Chestnutthud and honored for their spirit

Deaths

Bramblepaw fell into the river and Quietpaw drowned alongside Bramblepaw while trying to rescue them. They are named Brambletail and Quietbubble in death (does not count for challenge)

Lemon Boy grieves Brambletail but is not stricken

Mistlepaw realized she-cat doesn't describe how they feel anymore

He is trans male!

Wisteriaflare finds poppies while out on a walk and decides to give them to Mistlepaw

Blazestar - muscular, longhaired bright ginger tabby she-cat with dark amber eyes. Current leader of EagleClan. Warrior name was Blazefire. Hot-headed and quick to battle, to the chagrin of her Clan.

Burnclaw - small but muscular pale ginger tabby tom with light amber eyes. Boulderpaw’s mentor. Much calmer than his sister and rarely speaks directly, particularly to his apprentices; he prefers to lead others to the answer he wants them to find.

Runningwolf’s Family

Runningwolf - small light grey tabby tom with one amber eye and one green eye. Though nearly a senior warrior he is unaccustomed to leadership and prefers to follow. Peapaw’s mentor.

Brightpelt - Runningwolf’s littermate. Tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat with one green eye and one blue eye. Heavily scarred and walks with a slight limp after a long-ago rogue attack.

Wildheart - Runningwolf and Brightpelt’s father. Died of greencough last leafbare.

Unknown mother - Runningwolf and Brightpelt’s mother. Died giving birth to her kits.

Silverdapple - Wildfern and Hailstorm’s mother. She-cat with unknown description. Deceased of unknown causes.

Owltuft’s Family

Owltuft - snow marbled tabby she-cat with light yellow eyes. Has only recently discovered her attraction to she-cats. Named for the saw-whet owl.

Lynxear - Owltuft’s littermate. Large, longhaired brown classic tabby tom with tufted ears. A protective ‘big’ brother who has a particularly defensive streak towards his runty sister Owltuft.

Smokefall - black smoke tabby she-cat with yellow eyes. Had a fling with the passing loner Edgar and became pregnant with his kits, Wolfkit and Palekit.

Edgar - Smokefall’s former mate. White tom with deep blue eyes. Part of a group of wandering rogues, and was involved with Smokefall for the duration of their stay in the area. He broke up with her when the group was due to move on.

Wolfkit - Smokefall and Edgar’s daughter, and littermate of Palekit. Black smoke tabby she-kit.

Palekit - Smokefall and Edgar’s son, and littermate of Wolfkit. White tomkit.

Ermineflight’s Family

Ermineflight - longhaired white she-cat with a black mask and tail. Mother of Rookflight, Boulderpaw, and Mistpaw. A fairly young warrior who was given her suffix for her skill in climbing and traversing the rough Peak territory.

Goatwhisker - shorthaired chocolate tabby she-cat with white tuxedo markings. Older sister of Ermineflight and littermate of Greypaw. Died in a recent ambush by the Bloodhides rogues, in an attempt to avenge Shadowstreak.

Greypaw - longhaired grey tabby tom with white tuxedo markings. Littermate of Goatwhisker and older brother of Ermineflight. Died as an apprentice while alone with the then-apprenticed Hailstorm.

Unnamed parents - parents of Ermineflight, Goatwhisker, and Greypaw. Tom and she-cat with unknown descriptions. Both are deceased.

Mossnose - Sibling of Ermineflight’s father. The medicine cat of EagleClan before Morningbird, and mentored her to succeed the role. Friendly with her brother’s kits and where Ermineflight learned her stricter nature from.

Rookflight - son of Ermineflight and Cragleap, and older brother to Boulderpaw and Mistpaw. Longhaired black tom with white tuxedo markings. Plans for deputyship at least in his later life, though has made no efforts to secure this.

Boulderpaw - daughter of Ermineflight and Cragleap, Mistpaw’s littermate, and younger sister of Rookflight. Longhaired grey she-cat with white markings. The wildest child and often butts heads with her mother.

Mistpaw - son of Ermineflight and Cragleap, Boulderpaw’s littermate, and younger brother of Rookflight. Longhaired grey colourpoint tom with blue eyes. Ambitious and aspires for leadership of EagleClan, though has not shared this with his older brother.

Peapaw’s Family

Peapaw - skinny brown classic tabby she-cat with yellow eyes. An independent cat whose parents died when she was four moons and has little to do with her living family, to her satisfaction. Significantly shy and rarely speaks, but is quite astute.

Unnamed parents - Peapaw’s parents. Tom and she-cat with unknown descriptions. Both are deceased. One parent has kits from a prior relationship.

Unnamed half-siblings - Peapaw’s older half-siblings by one of her deceased parents. At least two cats with unknown descriptions.

Tigerpelt’s Family

Tigerpelt - large ginger tabby tom with long claws. A friendly cat who defends his Clan with his strength and cunning; though generally calm, in battle his anger can get out of hand.

Unnamed sister - Tigerpelt’s sister. She-cat with unknown description. Currently open for creation.

Unnamed parents - parents of Tigerpelt and his sister. Tom and she-cat with unknown descriptions. Both killed by Bloodhide rogues, sparking hatred for the rogues in Tigerpelt.

Flaxbriar’s Family

Flaxbriar - seal Siamese point she-cat with a darker flank. The current deputy of EagleClan. Harbours deep hatred for the Bloodhides after losing her parents to one of their members.

Flaxbriar’s mate - tom with unknown description. Currently open for creation.

No Relations

Drizzlemask - fluffy seal point tom with white mittens and a white blaze. A young warrior who enjoys goofing around with other cats his age. Recently, he has proven particularly close to the slightly younger warrior Rookflight.

Shadowstreak - small, fluffy black tom with amber eyes. His mother died in kitbirth and his father was killed in battle a few days before, so from birth he was an orphan with no blood family to speak of. Died in battle with the Bloodhides.

Morningbird - longhaired lilac mackerel tabby she-cat with angular, narrow facial features. The current medicine cat of EagleClan and was mentored by Mossnose. Despite the restrictions of a medicine cat, she is somewhat open to a romantic relationship.
