The Count’s mother, Countess Jane was born on this day in 1966. She is pictured with one of her dogs at the family estate in Surrey.

She was a daughter of Their Excellencies Count Boris Arved von Reutern and Countess Eleanor von Reutern née Sutton.

Countess Jane von Reutern married The Hon John Curle in 1986, they had two sons: Count Joshua Edward Dylan (b 5 April 1987) and Count Jared Hugh Francis (b 5 April 1987 - d 1992). She divorced short after, reverting to her title and style, instead she had decided to take her ancestral English family name Wood, to provide her children with easier life and privacy.

She died of thyroid cancer in the year 2000 at the age of 33,  she survived by her mother, late Eleanor, Countess of Reutern and her son Joshua, who succeeded to the title of the Count of Münnich and Reutern, Baron of Nolcken.
