He saw her a couple times pass by him on the sidewalk and every time got hopeful that he'd see her again. Winters, beloved!!! When I say he was one of the first characters I got a crush on in BoB, I mean I was down BAD. Thank you so much for requesting, lovely!

Winters is still getting used to life after the war. It's not just the trauma of death and the brutality of humanity that he's healing from, but he also grew up fast in the last few years. He's trying to learn to let the weight of leadership leave his shoulders and he's trying to enjoy the freedom of civilian life! But breaking out of routine is hard and he still finds himself waking up early.

So he started taking walks. A lot. He wouldn't even necessarily pick a destination, he would just let his feet start walking and enjoy the scenery, taking in the sights of what he had missed since he was away. And that's when he first saw her.

She was walking towards him, busy adjusting the flowers in her arms, and glancing up to meet his gaze just as she was walking past. She gave a smile, one that was admittedly "just polite", but kind none the less.

Later that day when Winters noticed the same type of flowers the Beautiful Stranger had been carrying earlier. He lingered at the vendor for a moment before fishing out his wallet and buying a bouquet as well. Maybe his home could do with some fresh flowers.

The next day, same time, he began his walk. Nodding good morning to the elderly couple sitting together and enjoying the sun and fresh air, easily dodging out of the way of a couple of kids kicking a ball down the street with a small chuckle as they shouted after one another. But his smile was reserved for when he noticed the same Stranger from the previous day. Her arms were once again full of another bouquet of flowers. This time a collection of purple and white blooms.

However, this time, The Stranger was preoccupied with her purchase and she caught Winters' eyes much sooner than before. He wasn't oblivious to way that she inspected him, looking him over and quickly assessing him before she granted him another smile, passing him the same way as before.

This became a daily routine for the both of them, their passing one another, her arms full of flowers. Over time Richard noticed the change in her smile the longer their minimal interactions continued. No longer were they simply "polite" smiles reserved for strangers or acquaintances. Instead they were the kind of smiles that would grace ones' face after seeing a particularly adorable dog. And they were paired often with with a "Good morning" or a "beautiful day, isn't it?".

Some days it seemed as if maybe, just maybe, The Stranger was waiting for him to cross the street before she rounded the corner to be on the same path as he was. But that couldn't be right, could it?

Strange enough, he realized just how much he looked forward to seeing The Stranger and on the rare days that their routine was disrupted by poor weather or life's meddling ways, his day didn't quite feel complete.

Their routine lasted like this, a constant exchange of growing familiarities and smiles, before one day Winters decided that he needed to do something. It was getting ridiculous that almost a month had passed and he still didn't know her name or what she could possibly need with so many bouquets of flowers.

The next day, he decided, he would say something. He spent just a little more time to ensure he would make a good first impression speaking to the Stranger before hurrying towards the street he knew she would be heading down promptly.

But she wasn't there....Winters waited, busying his hands with his watch and then the buttons of his coat, casting an unsure glance behind him as if he could've possibly missed her. After counting 60 more seconds, he continued towards the flower stand, coming to the conclusion that he'd missed her. Spending too much time preening himself that morning.

"Ah this is the gentlemen who has the same taste in flowers as you do, Miss."

Richard's cheeks turned a soft pink as he rounded the corner and saw The Stranger, arms not yet laden with her choice of flowers, and the shop keeper. The shop keeper was smiling, his bushy white mustache rising with his lips, and motioning to Winters.

"I was wondering if you were going to come today." He was no stranger to her voice, but hearing a complete sentence come from her and purely meant for him, sent a swarm of butterflies lose in his chest.

"I thought I missed you." It was feeble response that The Stranger shook her head in reply to. "I was running late this morning, thought I'd wait here. Gus was telling me that you usually buy flowers every day as well."

"I couldn't resist after seeing you. I mean. The flowers. You with the flowers.

The Stranger and Winters continued their first and slightly awkward first conversation in front of the flower shop while Gus, now moving to select fresh flowers for his costumers, watched on with a knowing glint in his eyes. Almost as if this was not the most uncommon series of events he had expected to witness.

james- I think he'd be a big fan of all the music of the now and maybe 10 ish years earlier. lots of sixties duwopy pop-rock like the beatles, the zombies and the turtles but also more contemporary stuff; Fleetwood Mac, Wings, the Pretty Things, Frank Zappa, the Eagles, Queen and Bowie (not glam, disco. so like thin white Duke era- not that he'd mind glam bowie I just think he'd prefer disco bowie)! also I think like Ambrosia and other 70s pop he'd dig.. but I think he would be totally in love with Fleetwood Mac, especially their album Mystery to Me- because it would remind him of lily. I think he, along with alice, would get lily more into fleetwood mac.

lily - I think she'd really prefer 50s rock and jazz .. blues and soul too, though I don't think she'd mind later rock. she just seems very buddy holly/chet baker/frank sinatra/ray charles/ella fitzgerald/nina simone, I also think she'd really like otis redding but he's 60s lol, oh and I think she would've LOVED the monkees when she wad younger and would think theyre brilliant.

sirius - glam glam glam and then also punk from the late 70s-81.. also goth+post punk music (ie. the cure, echo and the bunnymen, the smiths, siouxsie and the banshees, depeche mode, joy division ect ect) but I always think of goth as sort of a mid-late 80s thing so I don't think he'd have really been exposed to alot of goth bands because he was. in jail... but I think David Bowie, T. Rex, Lou Reed, the Velvet Underground, and then like Television, Patti Smith, the Clash, Iggy Pop, the Stooges. yk.. but also a lot of what James listens to as well!:3 bc they r bff! also I think remus and sirius share great love for queen :)

remus! - folk! and art rock! I think he'd like a lot of the glam sirius listens to and I think he'd be a very big velvet underground fan. as for folk, I think Bob Dylan, Vashti Bunyan, Donovan, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Janis Ian, Simon and Garfunkle, GEORGE HARRISON!! - that sort of vibe.. also also think he'd share folky stuff with lily and she would rather enjoy it !

peter - I don't think he really listens to music tbh, not in the way where he'd have favourites. just whatever is on the radio/the records his friends play!

alice - I think she lovessssss female artists and makes a point to listen to them. Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Janis Ian, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, Kate Bush, Aretha Franklin, very varied but very girl, because I think Alice is a big fan of women doing things idk. bisexual moment 4 her. I think her and lily would also both share a really great love of Stevie Nicks and be like fanatics of hers.

frank - I think bro LOVES reggae idk. Bob Marley fan. culture/jimmy cliff/the gladiators. I also think he'd like a lot of "dad rock" bands, led zeppelin/steely dan/the eagles/the who/the kinks.. yar naur. he's a man❤️🙂‍↕️

severus - classical music snob, probably inherited from his mom. loathes rock n roll idk. seems like THAT SORT OF GUY..

regulus - lots of classical and jazz, but not in the way severus is like pretentious, I mean coming from a muscianship standpoint. I think he'd especially love miles davis jazz wise and beethoven+liszt classical music wise (ie. I think he'd have a great love for romantic music, even though beethoven isn't usually considered romantic- just LISTEN to moonlight sonata, it is DRIPPING with the emotion of romantic music).

Guys, idk but I don’t think I want to be known as the Roudise blog anymore. I just see it so much, I’ve been an advocate for them for years but right now they’ve just been not my focus in the Bobs fandom. I love that people can come and like my stuff and all but I just don’t want to be known for them.

I do other things!! And draw other things. I feel that’s why people don’t commission me too. They just think I can do Roudise or ships. Guys I do all sorts and I can do whatever you want. I think I’ve proved that now. But idk I just feel a bit singled out because of this. Maybe I need to make more art of other characters or something.

I’ll still do Roudise week because I know how much you guys loved it last time. But just know I am not centring my account around them anymore. Rudy will still be my fave character and that will not change tho. I watched Beetlejuice Beetlejuice last night.

Keeping it undercut to not spoil for casual screen scrollers. I'll still try to be as vague as possible though. My brain is all over the place so warning you for being nonsensical. (I loved it!)

My nostalgic old ass actually loved it and I usually hate sequels. I even wanted to yell at Lydia on the screen cos girl... this creepy ass mf demon Beetlejuice has loved you (in his weird ass way) for 30 years and you're with the... Well you'll meet her dislikeable meatbag boyfriend in the movie (as you can see I hate him).

OK I'll shut up about this and will probably get hate for my weird ass ships again...

Will admit the mini fake romance with Astrid and the sneaky brat in town was cringe. I knew something was wrong cos I trust no weird, suddenly-we-have-so-many-things-in-common kinda dudes in movies. Only been in town for 2 days and there's already smooches.

As a mom myself I was like, "Nuh uh, child. Me da mala vibra. Bad vibes."

I, of course, was- watch the movie I'm spoiling too much.

Monica Bellucci as Delores (my gods 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️) was and is as eternally beautiful as always. Regret not seeing more of her on screen cos I'm such a hopeless bisexual simp for this goddess. And I loved the romantic goth with black wedding dress and stapled on body parts look. Stunning woman. Quite literally breathtaking me to death.

The musical numbers I enjoyed cos I'm a nostalgic old lady. I wanted to sing along like a goof but I held back to spare everyone. I can be a very nice considerate person... sometimes.

The humor was nice and maybe slightly more mature than the 1st one (OK it was more mature) but it isn't anything extreme so you can bring your kids that are old enough to watch (pg 13).

Personally speaking I'm so used to horror, comedy, dark humor and body horror imagery that I was surprised it was pg 13 cos my weird mind would have put it as just pg. (That's why I shouldn't rate things cos I'd be like "This ain't that bad. I think babies can watch it." 🤣🤣🤣)

Overall I enjoyed and will probably watch again. Maybe others will enjoy it too and this fandom can become more livelier.

I shouldn't do puns. I suck at them.

PS: I feel so bad for Bob. He was just trying to do his job.😭
