The cool thing about Devo is most of their more earnest songs like Whip It are misinterpreted as submersive sadomasochism songs, meanwhile their lesser known back catalog and deeper cuts are 90% about masturbation, not getting pussy, and borderline misogynistic pseudo kinky sex fantasies.
