So! Hizuka. The first fusion so far to have a proper actual name that they chose. They use He/They pronouns and is always a hair away from being burnt out.

They absolutely deserve the world and I love them. I might put more fun shit and headcanons here but not now.

Core Fusion AU

The people that live in the Infinite Realms are able to fuse like gems in Steven Universe. Why you may ask? It's because their body is made up of ectoplasm that comes from their core, which is very similar to how a gem's form is made up of light and comes from their gem itself.

Fusions occur when two or more ghosts share a similar strong emotion or obsession, such as protection, love or hate. The fusion is a state where the occupants share thoughts and work together to operate a single body, so a lot of trust needs to be present or a singular goal in both minds.

Core Fusions also merge unique powers together to strengthen or link them together more.

Due to this, core fusions are typically seen as a way to show trust in any form or bond between ghosts, and as a way to strengthen forces and power.

Danny is probably able to fuse with ghosts and humans but was never told that it was possible for him bc he's half-human.

Now, this could work for both Dp x Dc and Dp x BNHA.

Dp x Dc

Danny can fuse with people who have been touched by death or have been dead and came back (like Jason).

The fusion would be a physical form that mixes both or more appearances while their cores (pseudo or not) appear as jewellery they wear as the fusion, which changes depending on the fusion.

Since I'm fixated on the dead on main ship right now, let's say that Jason is the one to core fuse with Danny first, and there can be an in depth backstory on how they meet and leads up to the core fusion, and it helps with the pit rage. Danny takes them to either Frostbite or Clockwork to figure out what is going on and they learn about core fusion and how it works.

-possible plot idea ahead-

In Gotham, Red Hood has been MIA for several months from both being a vigilante and a crime boas, and the rest of the batfam are freaking out about it; especially since a new crime boss has come into play going by "The Monarch" or "JD Fent" (The Monarch plays into Danny being either Ghost King or an adjacent role in the Infinite realms, and the JD Fent is a mix of their names bc I think it's cool :D).

Meanwhile, Jason and Danny have been chilling together using core fusion to keep away from the batfam and have been improving Crime Alley with Danny's inherited chaotic mad scientist gene being used to harness ectoplasm as a renewable energy since Gotham has a large quantity of it (bonus points if the ectoplasm can be re-filtered to be safely used again for power).

The GIW or another ghost could show up in Gotham to hunt down JD and the batfam accidentally get captured since a lot of them have died (I think??).

Cue a garnet-style reunion and a "stronger than you" scene before escaping and telling the rest of the batfam the truth.

Dp x BNHA

Similar to the other one, but quirks count as mini-cores and that's how people gain their powers. Quirkless people don't have cores and therefore don't have powers.

Danny could be able to fuse with the previous OFA users and just pull them out of Izuku or they could just fuse by Danny grabbing onto Izuku when using his quirk in a fight.

And I'm just imagining during one of the fights Danny grabs onto Izuku and a flash of light shoots out and once the light clears, Danny is gone and a person with three sets of arms with an appearance similar to Danny's and the other OFA users mixed into one before battling it out with the LOV.

A togachako heathers au would kind of eat ngl. Of course there's the option of having Ochako as Veronica and Himiko as JD - let Himiko have her fun with murders tehehe. Plus it would be cool to reframe JD's characterization via Toga with motifs from Himiko's canon characterization and eventually finding understanding through Ochako in a way similar to the togachako manga chapters/episodes. It could also be fun to have Himiko as Heather Chandler and ship Ochako with a ghost after her death. Some angst as a treat plus it would be fun to add a romantic layer to the scenes in which Veronica! Ochako sees Heather Chandler! himiko's ghost :3 Plus Himiko would absolutely make that red scrunchie work!

Been passively coming up with an AU where Izuku's got a fusion quirk since I'm back in my MHA era (And coz I never fully left my Steven Universe era lol) and I've kinda got the basics for it?

Like, I know that a lot of Izuku's fusions would follow SU's design trend - extra limbs, extra eyes, etc, and that they'd have abilities derived from their components' quirks (i.e. Izuku and Ochako's fusion can increase gravity, Izuku, Bakugou, and Mina's could shoot nitroglycerin and ignite it, etc.). I'm not completely sure if he'd have OFA in this? I've associated it with him for so long that it feels weird not to give it to him. Maybe he gets it later? idk

I've got some basic ideas for some of the fusions themselves figured out, too. His fusion with Eri would be a savant with Rewind and OFA but be terrified to experiment with their own quirk. Fusions with Bakugou are usually only pulled out when shit hits the fan, while Izuku and Ochako will fuse just for the fun of it. The one time Izuku and Mei fused ended with their fusion being perma-banned from the support labs.

Okay I personally think this fusion was very fun to make and draw but MAN THAT EXPLOSION TOOK MY AGES TO FIGURE OUT SO PLEASE APPRECIATE IT 😭😭

In my Au, fusions with children are usually very volatile and such, and they stabilise as you get older, but this boy is special because he's really stable for his age, and also the first fusion in his whole year group at school, so he was seen as super cool. Also I imagine that he sees both Inko, Mitsuki & Masaru as his parents bc yk, and he's practically the kid they're all co-parenting. When they fused for the first time Inko cried and Masaru took so so so many pictures.

Izuku has a natural effect of strengthening people's quirks in fusions, which is one of his Fusion Traits. (I'll talk about this in another post. When I do, I'll link it here.) So he has super powerful explosions, with a green/orange colour, probably because of copper or another compound in the explosion. (Copper causes green flames.) And they look a little like fireworks, hence the nickname Firecracker.

When he shows up people are like "here comes the firecracker..." after Mitsuki called him that once, and it has now become a common nickname and a stand in till he chooses a name.

Izuku and Katsuki always take some time to brainstorm names together, and they're trying to decide on the coolest name ever. Until Izuku was diagnosed quirkless. They never fused again, and never talked about a name after that. If Izuku even mentioned it afterward he'd get an explosion to the face. Nobody really forgot it, including their parents, but they don't really mention it as fusion is a sore spot for both of them now.

the au asks are my raison d'etre, i'll always be taking them!

Before I read the rest of your ask my first thought was a dptam version of my fusion au, with All Might parasitically fusing with Izuku to strengthen himself which could be very fun!

Anyway, for a forced fusion AU, I think I'd take a weird angle and make it so a villain group is trying to neutralise All Might's quirk, and they figure the best way to do so is use a members fusion quirk to force him to fuse with a quirkless person. The fact it was Izuku was honestly a coincidence (they picked Izuku because he didn't have much family and at least seemed to like All Might?)

This type of fusion quirk melds the two beings into one, obliterating the original two - no sharing minds, Izuku and Yagi are both dead. Well, it should work like that, but obviously they didn't account for One for All. With it's ability to form vestiges, All Might and Izuku's minds were preserved independently, saving them. They also didn't consider that they weren't fusing a quirked man with a quirkless child - they were fusing a quirkless man with a quirkless child and a quirk containing 7 other people.

All of the vestiges and All Might give control of the body to Izuku, agreeing hes the most deserving of not being dead. Izuku is not in agreement here but he was outvoted.

The fusion looks between 16 and 20? A lot of the vestiges died young but prematurely aged due to the whole having a quirk before they had OfA thing, mostly masculine. Their hair is a wavy pale pearlesent sort of colour, as are their eyes. They, impossibly, have Izuku's freckles too.

The correct idea would be 'contact either UA or the HPSC and wait for someone to be able to unfuse them'. They do not do this. Well, they do contact Nezu? But Also inform him that they are going to go do heroics stuff because without All Might japan is in a very awkward situation. Nezu hands them a fake license and tells them to come to UA training days because Izuku doesn't know how to fight and that body isn't beefy enough to fight like All Might.

This is completely my opinion but when fusing the khr and bnha worlds together you should keep the organized crime aspect, why the hell would you rework the vongola to be a vigilante organization when the canon vongola has had bosses stray FAR away from that concept. Like sure vongola has values but they also are very highly illegal

Lbr daemon spade being a ghost that haunts vongola to ensure its ruination is a lot more believable, than, say, three thousand year old non human earthlings guarding the artifacts that balance the world.

My point is id love to see fics where tsuna struggles to make his very villain group become vigilantes, and THEN into the hero business if youre going that route (personally i want them to remain criminals for some spice but ehhhh semantics ill read anything if its written well). Dont just retcon it to be a vigilante group holding out for 10 generations 💀💀

Something I've been drawing on Aideku week, but I just don't like the way it looks. I don't want to post this on my main account, but it's a sp, so here it goes. And context for each of those

Day 1: paranormal/supernatural.

This is a world where quirks are not genetic, but a spirit that chooses a person for itself from infancy. After Oboro's death, Shouta was very weak, his own soul began to get lost and dissipate, and he would not even be able to undergo rebirth. Shouta's spirit loved his man very much, and in a dream he made a pact where he would keep Shouta alive, in exchange for control of the body while Shouta was sleeping and that Shouta would forget about the pact. Aizawa agreed.

no spirit at Izuku's birth chose him. When the OfA passed to him, thanks to the singularity and the ability to see past users, Izuku was able to see the spirits of patrons. This is how he learned about Shouta’s Possession, and at night he often talked with the spirit. It was with the spirit, and not the way the patron pretended to be an awake Shouta. This is Art's plot.

(And then, Izuku, willy-nilly, learns a lot of little things about Aizawa through his soul, and without noticing it gives himself away (makes coffee, gestures, phrases, sudden inappropriate knowledge, etc.). Aizawa questions him and this is how information about the sound and spirits comes out. They will start training. Over time they will become friends, and only many years after graduation will they fall in love with each other. (Shouta's spirit is also happy because Shota has started to take him into account)

Day 3: Omegaverse. Well, that's it

Day 4: Shouta's birthday

Day 5: Quirk accident

Due to the sudden activation of the quirk of a child who crashed into Izuku and Aizawa on the street, their bodies merged into one. Luckily, this only lasts a day! Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to hide any thoughts or secrets these days...

Day 6: villians/mafia

All Might truly defeated All For One. Even so, after his retirement, nations began to fall apart. Both villains, heroes, citizens, and the government began to lose understanding of each other.

Deku realized that people needed to unite. Knew it. But no good deeds or speeches helped this. And then he realized.

If people do not unite in the face of good, they will do so in the face of evil.

He issued a challenge, pointed a blade at the whole world, so that, trying to defeat him, they shared our common language. Either this, or the unhappiness, loneliness, misunderstanding and endless war that pulls towards one.

And in this he does not have a single ally. He cannot allow his love, Aizawa, to follow him, and makes him believe that he has betrayed him.

(Though Aizawa sees right through him and eventually joins >:3)

Jujutsu Kaisen × Hero Academia Crossover AU where the Jujutsu Sorcerer Community is actually a Vigilante Serial Killer Cult

Okay, bear with me for a second here—!!

Consider: a sort of universe-fusion where JJK takes place in the BNHA universe, but...! Curses are not real. I repeat, curses do not exist. The Sorcerer community is a cult made up of people who believe that Villains with mutant quirks are Curses, while the more anthropomorphic Villains are Curse Users.

They believe that destroying (i.e. killing) Curses exorcises them, and that Curse Users deserve the same fate. They believe that doing so is their civic duty as Jujutsu Sorcerers, and they groom their children to do the same.

Their community is highly secretive (supposedly because the public would not understand or be able to handle the "truth" of curses) and their children are kept cut-off from society as they're growing up, until they're old enough to attend Jujutsu Tech and start going on "missions" of their own to "exorcise" "curses"…

A fanfic based in this AU would ideally start shortly before the protagonist is meant to attend Jujutsu High, at a time when there is a major police bust and most of the cult are finally put under arrest for their crimes (serial murder, mainly).

The adult cult members would be put under arrest, while the younger ones would be evaluated based on whether they had "exorcised" anyone yet, and for the ones who haven't… They would be relocated and rehabilitated, placed in foster care and sent to whatever schools are willing to take them in.

For example…

A raid is launched on Jujutsu Tech and the compounds of the main clans — all at the same time, so that no one has the chance to warn anyone else or escape.

Eraserhead and Tsukauchi are involved in the raid on the Gojō compound specifically, and while they're putting everyone under arrest a child — about fourteen or fifteen years old — suddenly appears out of nowhere.

He has white hair and eyes like the sky and is wearing a matching yukata. He is also eerily calm considering Aizawa is currently kneeling on the back of one of his family members, who is cuffed and spitting out curses.

When the man on the ground sees him he orders the child to free him and "exorcise the curse users". The child blinks back, before turning to Aizawa and Tsukauchi to ask, "What are you doing?"

They (awkwardly) explain that the (adult) clan members are under arrest for serial murder, and so on.

The kid asks what will happen to him. They explain that, as he is a minor and hasn't gone on any "missions" yet, he will be placed with a foster parent, rehabilitated, and admitted to an eligible high school come fall.

And the kid...he smiles. Says, "OK!"

...he seems weirdly excited...?

(They don't know this yet, but little Gojō Satoru is positively ecstatic. He's gonna be free from his overbearing relatives?! He's gonna get to go to an ordinary high school and have a real high school experience with sports festivals and fairs and clubs?! He's gonna be able to do practically whatever he wants — have fun and eat sweets and goof off?! This is the best day of his life!)

(Gojō doesn't know this yet, but when Nedzu hears about him and his abilities an offer is going to be put forth for Gojō to attend UA...

If he passes the Hero Entrance Exam — which, of course he will — he will be admitted into the Hero Course as a first-year alongside students such as Midoriya Izuku, Todoroki Shōto, and Bakugō Katsuki.)

Other characters this could also work with:

Young Fushiguro Megumi, abandoned by Toji. Perhaps he was just recently sold to taken in by the Zen'in Clan right before they got raided.

Quirkless Zen'in Maki, neglected by her so-called "family" but not about to let that stop her from getting stronger than any of them.

Itadori Yūji, owner of a mild strength enhancement quirk, having been recently victimized by a powerful pseudo-immortality quirk and sort of "possessed" after which the "Sorcerers" found him and forcefully inducted him into the cult, telling him that he will eventually have to be executed...until of course the police and heroes finally show up and arrest all of them. Now, what to do with this Itadori kid…?

A jaded Getou Suguru (shortly before he has his mental breakdown and massacres a village) is tired of risking his life and the lives of his friends killing exorcising Curses and Curse Users, when suddenly the school is raided and everyone put under arrest for serial murder — and goddammit, he didn't even want to do this shit anyway! Not anymore!

He's taken in by the Pro Heroes after they discover how he was lured into the cult as a kid and they work diligently to "de-program" him, giving him extensive therapy for all the shit he went through…and by god, he is so much happier now.

Etc, etc, etc…
