SMARTPHONE CHARGER ON YOUR KEYCHAIN
The Cause:
Today smartphones are a part of our lives. Take a phone away from a kid and watch how their face changes in two seconds. Its like you took away their life. I have to admit, I sometimes have the same issues. I'm late driving down the highway for a meeting and on the way there I realize that I am running out of juice. AND most of all I don't have my charger with me. Its either I stop at a local gas station or Walmart and waste time buying one more adapter. Where I will have to add it to my collection or I just take the risk and stay on course.
This Product:
A wall charger on a keychain. Why hasnt anyone thought of this right? Made by a lot of business visionaries such as Apple iPhone and Samsung Android who tried to make the telephone's most significant extra as open as everything else, the Chargerito utilizes the littlest segments accessible available and comes in Lightning, USB-C, and MicroUSB variations. What's cooler is that it even incorporates a jug opener into the structure to improve upon the arrangement. With its helpful size, the Chargerito puts the ability to charge any and each gadget you have in you have… and it accompanies a superbly cheeky slogan… "Our rivals are goliaths"! Curiosity fills the Cabinet
Hell LADIES and Gentlemen!
Mme Paisleytie proudly presents her Christmas Cabinet of Curiosities. After finding a glorious metal shelf full of possibilities, she then needed to fill it! But with what??? Festive holiday items, of course! After mounting said object on the wall, she discovered that it was indeed large and would need much to fill it!
A believer that holiday items should always be nostalgic with a hint of sparkle and color!
These are some of the miscellaneous objects: -an adorable pair of ceramic mice from her childhood (thanks, Maud!) -a Mold-O-Rama blue plastic train from the Henry Ford Museum -a ceramic mushroom created at one of those make your own pottery places -several cute animals and figures purchased at cute boutiques -bottle brush trees (a must in any holiday scenario) -wooden letters and Scrabble tiles to spell out inspiring words -sparkly pine cones, bunches of flowers, berries and leaves from craft store -a couple vintage Santa boots (just like my step father's from his childhood, which Santa still fills! -some precious tiny trailers (scale models of our summer home) -a couple random vases that aren't really Christmassy but work in a pinch
One thing that was a little tricky was the backdrop. What to do here? After going a bit over budget on some of the little animals and things at the craft shop, she decided to rein it in and use what she had around the house. The backdrops with the cute patterns are a large sheet of wrapping paper she wrapped around cardstock. The solid colored parts are just colored cardstock with some glitter glued on them and the other ones are green tinted bubble wrap (from where???) wrapped around cardstock.
Two small things brought this to life: -tiny battery operated candles -fake snow (everyone's favorite poly fiber fill) We hope we've sparked your curiosity! This is the second year and it's fun to arrange it again as if it's the first time, without looking at last year's arrangement!
If you love creating as much as we do, head over to Blue Platypus and check out Rosie the Riveter.

This Turtledove flew in from Frankenmuth, or...
On the second day of Christmas, Mme. Paisleytie brings you...
Established in 1945 and located in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
I have been going there my whole life. Bronner’s is open 361 days/year and is a treasure trove of Christmas delights. They also throw in some small Halloween, Easter and miscellaneous seasonal decorations.
Bronner’s sells amazing giant light-up snowmen and huge-scale holiday decor, but, in my opinion, the highlight is the hand-blown European glass ornaments with special details like tiny limbs and very carefully painted faces. Over the years we have collected several hand-blown glass ornaments including: a Pink Panther, Wizard of Oz scarecrow, astronaut, aliens and space ships, turtles, giraffes, Popeye and Olive Oil, dancing hippo, Statue of Liberty, angel, pigs, a cat that ate the canary, a transparent dog with a bone, Moby Dick with a little guy inside, octopi, seals, etc. These magnificent creations delight us every year as we unwrap them from their boxes, having forgotten many of them between Christmases. We have lost some along the way, and tears have been shed.
A personal Paisleytie anecdote here— Bronner’s is open 361 days of the year (yes, 361), so your chances of catching them open on any given day are good, right? Well... as kids we would go with our dad every year on a Wednesday in December (his night with us) and at least twice we were surprised to realize that— oops!— they have a holiday Christmas party on a Wednesday in December. What are the chances??? Leave it to us to show up— not once, but TWICE— on one of the four days a year that Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland is closed. Doh! I could go on about this place, how they have helicopter toys on the ceiling and Santas and reindeer and a panoramic view of festive displays throughout, but really I think the pictures of the ornaments can say more than my silly words!
We hope you have enjoyed seeing some of our faves from Mme. Paisleytie’s very own collection.

Let the Festivities Begin!
On the first day of Christmas we give to you Lady Gingersnap and Mme. Paisleytie...
We are two faraway friends (one in the west, one in the midwest) who have decided to launch a little blog — a forum where we can be our best fantasy selves and create cool things to share with the world. This forum will allow us, Lady Gingersnap, the west coaster, and Mme. Paisleytie, the midwesterner (and former west coaster), to be our most creative and interesting selves. We have worked together in the past, and constantly share pics, craft ideas, and laughs, even from afar.
We hope our symbiotic relationship will be amusing to you, as we offer you glimpses of the inner workings of Blue Platypus Clothing as well as things that amuse us, and strange and wonderful passion projects! We aren’t exactly sure where this will lead us, but we are excited to get started! Join us as we explore the unexpected!
To kick off our journey, we are celebrating 12 Days of Christmas with Blue Platypus. We will be bringing you an amazing deal on one of our favorite Blue Platypus items each day and sharing a whimsical holiday tidbit to inspire your holiday festivities.
For our first day, we are zooming towards the winter wonderland in one of our Blue Platypus Snow Fun tees. After hitting the snow, we will come in for a festive fireside drink!
We will start with a bit of Bombay Sapphire gin, add a splash of McClary Brothers Lemon & Ginger drinking vinegar (aka shrub), a liberal pour of Gosling’s ginger beer, a squeeze of fresh tangerine juice and top it off with a festive bendy straw and a fun souvenir glass!
Now zip over to www.blue-platypus.com and get your own Snow Fun tee in Vintage Red or Vintage Navy with Tulip sleeve. Use code PARTRIDGE and get 10% off these fun winter-inspired tees!
And a partridge in a pear tree... La La La
