was getting my activity spammed by one guy who was going through my blog liking literally hundreds of old posts and going by that and the fact they were running with a default icon and their blog was empty i decided to err on the side of caution and report them for spam

... however i am still seeing dozens of notes on this blog, but when i check my activity feed there's nothing there, and i get the horrible feeling it's the same guy but tumblr is just not showing me the user.

it feels like i've reported a guy to the cops because he keeps breaking into my house and taking stuff out of my fridge, and rather than arrest him or put him under a restraining order, they've just given him an invisibility cloak under the reasoning that it means i don't have to actually see him stealing from my fridge, and that that somehow qualifies as them doing their job.
