Do Indie Pogo trophies count as appearances? Does Wryn from Bleed still have a Ryu number if not?

Wryn does not have a Ryu Number.

(clarification below)

So first off, no, Indie Pogo trophies do not count, much like Smash Bros. trophies.

To the best of my knowledge, Wryn herself has not been in any other game. She was at some point intended to be in Pocket Rumble, but it seems as if her and other guest bosses were never implemented since the game's gone silent post Switch release circa 2018.

There are, however, guest characters in Bleed 2 in the form of both playable characters and a boss.

Best I can tell, Rex Rocket, Freqμency, and Plucky's 3D Adventure are dead ends, which leaves the Clawed Girl from They Bleed Pixels as the only prospective connection. So what has she been in?

Well, she was intended to be in C-Wars alongside Shovel Knight, but that game also went silent between 2016 and 2021, with the most recent update being March of 2023. So I suppose in theory this could be a connection, but even assuming the game does hit a 1.0 at some point, it's also very possible that expired license agreements prevent either from being in the finished product.

So that's a bust. But hey, as it turns out, she's in another game: namely, Spooky Squid Games's next release after They Bleed Pixels, Russian Subway Dogs.

...As a statue and inspiration for a playable cat.

So close, yet so far.

It's very possible that there's a link out there I'm missing, but for now, this is all I could find, so Wryn does not have a Ryu Number.

This is not emergent, she has been treated, but her medicine does need to be paid off! Her name is Ame and she loves to yell.

What was believed to be either a neurological issue or an ear infection in severity has finally been found out; she has anemia and needs to be on medication to help! She's severely underweight and needs all the help she can get (and treats). It's suspected that she has IMHA based off of this episode being caused by stress; but tests for that are money they no one has right now. We're going to focus on what we can get her;

Which is the ability to have her meds without it being withheld from her for financial reasons!

The goal is at least 100$, but if 200$ is raised we have more rewards to raffle out!

Now I don't take requests, but wanting to see more of my OCs?? And you want it to be ANGST?? What can I say your argument was very persuasive XD

Now with this prompt I actually had to get creative. Because up to this point in my cookie lore development,, the only real angsty thing that happens in present day is the whole situation with Octo. But I didn't wanna dish up the same angst twice.. so I really had to think. Who else can I make suffer be the subject of angst? That's when I remembered the bond that Red and Coco have.. 😈

Now, Coco isn't really a stranger to nightmares. She had a few when Octo first got hurt and the whole crew feared they would lose him.. but it was ok. She was usually able to calm herself down and stay in bed..

But the occasional dreams she has about Red?.. She just cant handle them. She absolutely has to get up and go to him to make sure that he's ok. Most of the time she ends up just taking him with her back to her bed. Or just- anywhere that she feels is safe.

On her worst nights I can imagine that Seafoam wakes up to see that Red is missing.. only to find him and Coco curled up in a blanket nest under the stairs-
