COSPLAYERS: THE REAL HEROES OF 2016 HELPED US LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE

This Friday (April 28th), Between the Buried and Me will release their new DVD/Blu-ray, Coma Ecliptic: Live, via Metal Blade Records, in association with Good Fight Entertainment. The concert, which features the band performing their latest album, Coma Ecliptic, in its entirety, was filmed live on location October 4th, 2016 at The Observatory North Park in San Diego, CA. For a preview of the release, a live video of “Turn on the Darkness” can now be viewed at: youtube.com/watch?v=nUprJZMPM0c
Bassist Dan Briggs comments: “The genesis of the ‘Coma Ecliptic‘ filming was based around capturing the look and feel of the show our lighting director Chris Hill produced for the full album set. It’s such an important record for us and our progression as a band and the visual representation captures the moods of our tragic tale so well. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the last two years we’ve been living with this album day in and day out!”
To pre-order Coma Ecliptic: Live, please visit: metalblade.com/btbam – where a DVD/Blu-ray trailer can also be viewed. See below for available formats: –CD/DVD/Blu-ray –180g black 2LP –golden yellow marble 2LP (limited to 300 copies – EU exclusive) –ultra violet marble 2LP (limited to 200 copies – EU exclusive) –purple/black marble 2LP (limited to 300 copies – USA exclusive) *exclusive bundles with a shirt, plus digital options are also available!

Brighten your day with Distractotron's Katsucon '17 cosplay videos
Katsucon '17 may be over, but that isn't stopping people from reminiscing the event's good times. One method is to capture some of the convention's wonderful moments on film, which is what the gang at DistractotronChannel did with their video of their favorite cosplay from the con.
With Blake Faucette of Beatdownboogie behind the camera, we got to see each cosplayer striking a glorious pose that goes well with their costume. Also, it was a bit of a surprise to see more Monster Hunter cosplayers as we got to see a Female Furious Rajang Armor Set, among other signature designs. Then we had a Death Note trio and Lady Killer Queen at the scene; thus covering some of the anime cosplays from the con.
As we get ready for the convention season soon, it'll be a treat to see what type of cosplays that DistractotronChannel will capture next. On that note, which Katsucon '17 cosplays were your favorite?
